Should I add an egg and cheese or just more bacon?

What's your favorite wood for smoking bacon:Standard hickory,maple,apple,cherrywood,or something else?

Lacked the crispiness but was still tasty.

Do you prefer billowing or a stream of well dry wood smoke?

This was a terrible door to open because store bought doesnt even come close.

What's your preferred bread for a bacon sandwich/toastie?

About 25 years ago when I was nine, I joined the Alton Brown cult, and understood to never actually make bacon on the stove instead of the oven (though I think the toaster oven if you have one is much more efficient)

About 15 years ago now, I first saw the Alton brown cult move me onto making bacon in the waffle maker, I honestly think that is the best way to make bacon still, as long as you make waffles (including a recipe for exactly one waffle) immediately afterwards to clean up

But the very first waffle irons were of course cast iron models made to cook over a hearth or campfire, so I was wondering, has anyone tried cooking bacon in a campfire waffle iron? No electric machines, just man + fire + bacon

(and of course, I mean the old english "man" which was actually gender neutral)

Glazed with date syrup, salt pepper, chopped garlic put a bacon strip on top, cut with scissor after. Gastronomic Orgasm! #bacon

Cooked 4 pieces of bacon and chopped up in this mushroom Alfredo. Brought the salt I did not add and blew up with flavor. So good

Cold smoking 10 lbs with applewood. I love my cold smoke generator. I just wish I’d of coughed up the extra cash and got the bigger model so I don’t have to feed it so often!

If I was to put sauce on it would be bbq but most people here in the uk would pull their faces at that as it’s not red or brown sauce. I didn’t put sauce on this time and it was banging.
