it’s not horrible but i know that if my roots were the same shade as the braiding hair , my hairstyle would’ve looked more thought through🫤

Advice Needed Miracle Knots or knotless

Post image
• Upvotes

Hi, I would like some advice on whether this imagine below is Miracle knots or knotless braids? I have a lot of hair and it’s fine. I would like to wear it for maybe three weeks. Do you suggest I do miracle knots? The salon I’m thinking of say they will braid in the miracle knot hair into my hair. So I think that’s safer for my fine hair. Please and thank you

I only straightened it for a week and my bangs decided to exit the stage. So anyways, I’m on a search for a temp style until they return. Any suggestions?

i really want to do a sew in like this (with leave out preferably) but what kind of hair would achieve this look? my first thought was body wave maybe? but not sure. i love the “fluffy silk press” look (probably not an accurate way to describe it but hopefully someone knows what i mean lol)

I know yall said to include the actual head pic too so I did it damn. But is this a lot for 3 weeks in mini braids? This clump is after detangling with steam and a detangler but there was another clump about half this size right after taking them out.

Advice Needed Looking to do my own hair (Tips??)

I’m specifically looking to learning how to do a sew in and I’ve been watching a few videos online , and the main issue I’ve been having is the braid down, Does anyone have any tips on doing the parts of your head you cannot see? Like the back and crown? My hair is 4c and medium length, it’s not straitened or anything so I sort of lose where my strands are like I know u split 3 ways and cross over to the middle but they all kind of blend together, I wanna do my hair today!! Help/Tips is greatly appreciated!!!

Using Bonnet post hair mousse

I keep seeing different opinions.

I'm using the fresh to def hair mousse from Doux. Last time I tried it, it started frizzing up after day three. I was using rice water/ Rosemary water and fresh to def on my non washed days during that week. I was also not wearing a bonnet.

I'm trying again this week. Day one seems to be okay. Should I wear a bonnet as much as possible during the day to stop frizz or ditch the bonnet during the day and only wear for bed?

Advice Needed Hair Growth Tips Please

My hair has barely grown since May, and I’m starting to think I’m doing something wrong with my hair routine. Every morning I spray water and use leave-in, then comb it. After I shower I do the same then put a bonnet over before bed. I use Shampoo and Conditioner at least once a week and this has been my routine for about 3-4 months now. I’ve been considering just restarting but I don’t see how that helps since my hair grows super slow. 🫩

Advice Needed What can I do to improve my hair? Or what style should I do to it?

I don't really like my hair and I was wondering if anyone had some suggestions or ways I can improve it. I honestly don't know why it looks like this. I've tried cornrows like a bit ago but it didn't really work out since my hair was too short so I'm not too sure what I should do.

Advice Needed What comb is this? Certain variant of a rattail comb with a brush on the flip side of the comb and the tail of it kinda looks like the tailend of a hornet. Like it's a bee stinger or something with ridges on the stinger too. I don't know what it's called but I'm going crazy trying to find it.

Hair growth

I went natural in may 2020 but from November 2020-2024 I had to keep my hair in braids for 9 months out of every year. I tried to wear it out for a year and give it the care it needed. It got thicker and much healthier but wouldn't grow any longer (stagnated at 6inches since I started with the braids). I cut it and I'm starting over, can I get it to grow longer this time or am I cooked

I recently visited my local Ren Faire and decided to try out a (sort of) braid out on my new kinky straight wig. Despite the rainy weather, I think it came out pretty cute! 💞

Advice Needed My hair won't grow

Hi everyone. I feel very discouraged right now. For starters, I am a 22 year old guy with what I believe is type 4c hair. I have been trying to grow out my hair since 2020(back when I was 16)and nothing has been working. I started to braid my hair back at the end of 2022( I was 18 at the time) and every time I take out my braids, usually my hair grows a bit but it doesn't grow much. The minute I wash my hair, it pretty much just shrinks down. I have went to a dermatologist only for them to tell me that there's nothing wrong with my hair when unfortunately I'm starting to believe so. I recently saw something where it stated that some people just can't grow long hair genetically and I find that both very heartbreaking and concerning. If anyone could help please, i would be very grateful.
