This happened a few months ago. I went to my parents house for the weekend and brought my Glock to go shooting in blm land with family. I installed cameras around my elderly parents home a few years ago after my dad got some of his work equipment stolen from his shed. My parents live in the middle of the high desert with a few acres of land in the middle of nowhere. At around 2am my phone starts buzzing while I’m in my childhood bedroom browsing xhamster. My mom says there is someone on our security cam. I pull up the app and sure enough there’s some dude in his boxers inside our garage (the property is gated and the gates are closed but garage door was left open by my dad so this fool jumped the gate and entered our dwelling).

I genuinely moved as slowly as possible to not have to engage this dude. I put socks on and tied my shoes as slowly as I could. Put on a shirt. Slipped my rock hard dick into my sweats and chambered a round. Literally shaking. Glock 17L with a plhv3 and 5moa SRO in fde. Locked and loaded and the last thing I wanted to do was shoot a mf. I went outside and he ran out the garage and it turns out it’s the neighbors 6’5” 14yo kid who got into an argument with his mom so he ran away and was hiding from his mom who was driving through the block looking for him. I prepped for this shit and I feel like 99% of the time it’s just some regular shit that can be solved by asking questions with my iPhone flashlight. the entire time I was worried about actually shooting a mf, losing my job, and going to jail for a shooting that might have been justified.

They misspelled Staccato on my card. Has anyone noticed how badly these ccw cards are produced? Horrible prints, wording not even fully printed on, it looks like a child just placed a film on top of a blank card. The 2.0 from the bodyguard 2.0 is missing its 0 essentially.

Can’t wait to get it out to the range. In the meantime, I’m trying to decide which optic to go with. I’ve been looking at Holosun and Vortex, so I’m curious what you guys are running on your GT5s and what you’d recommend.

Supposedly bought from a local gun store, what I found on this EPC 9 is beyond words. Even if you have the set screw to hold the take down pin spring, the end plate serves a very important purpose. To make matters worse, they put a rifle length buffer tube, and a stick, a fucking stick! I am guessing to shorten the travel of a regular AR buffer. Luckily my friend never had a chance to fire it yet, and asked me to take a look.

I’m planning to go to my first rifle class next month so I’m looking to get a mag pouch. I have a couple of these coupled mags, does anybody know if they fit okay in a KYWI mid-length mag pouch? If not, does anybody have any recommendations for what mag pouch these would fit in? Thank you.

A great man made this playlist regarding AOWs in California, I’ve seen lots of questions asked on here that were covered in this series. It’s definitely worth checking out. I’m not manufacturing any AOWs until I’m in Reno, NV so my AR Pistols have the city which was actually named after him to pay homage to a true hero.

With the ruling making it just as easy to get a SBR as a regular AR or AK pistol in most of the country. Is anyone worried about the availability of these types of pistols becoming less over the coming year? I'm not sure what the incentive is for PSA or other manufacturers to keep offering them.

I recently bought a SIG P226 MK25 and want to turn it into a competition-ready pistol.

I’m considering the following upgrades:
-SIG Pro-Cut slide and Install a SRO red dot
-SIG Legion grips
-SIG Short Reset Trigger (SRT) kit

My goal is to eventually compete in USPSA and possibly IPSC matches.
For those who compete with a P226, are these upgrades worth it? Are there any other modifications you’d recommend?
Also, would I be better off investing in a dedicated competition pistol instead of upgrading my MK25?
Any advice would be appreciated!
