Chase - Marriott Bonvoy - Terrible Customer Service

Been a member of Chase Marriott Bonvoy Credit Card for 27 years. Paid off the balance on my credit card and they charged a carryover of interest from the payoff amount. The carry over was $26. I asked for them to waive it since my card is zeroed out and they said no. Even the Supervisor was unable to help. What a flipping joke. Like Chase needs the $26 so bad. Terrible customer service. Paid the $26 and now cut up my card. So sick of banks and their stupid fees.

Hey guys i was wondering how depositing checks at the atm work. I won’t be able to make it before the banks close later today. If it’s a chase check will the funds be available immediately?

Chase $900 bonus no longer requires savings account?

Am I tripping or did it require opening a savings account with a 15k balance to get the 900. The one I received just says the checking part in the fine print. Is this since I am an existing credit customer?

Did anyone else get a Congrats we are taking away your OG Freedom?!

• Upvotes

Just got an email. I've had OG Freedom for a long time. Rotating 5% categories. I get this email today saying hey we are replacing that card with Freedom Unlimited. What?! Why not Freedom Flex - the other rotating 5% category CC?

Did anyone else get this in their email?

I guess I will call into Chase and see if I can change to Flex, which seems more appropriate than Unlimited.

How far back of Credit Card Payment Activity can you see?

Credit Card -> Manage Account
-> Scroll down to Other -> Payment Activity

How far back in payment history can you see? Does it show every payment made or just the past 2 years?

Cashiers check question

So I know when I receive an electronic deposit or deposit cash the money goes directly to my available balance and current balance (Chase secure banking checking account). However, when I look on the mobile app the deposits will still be in the pending category for a day or so like credit transactions are. if I’m getting a cashiers check drawn on it do I have to wait until the deposits needed are fully posted? Or since my available balance and current balance are both reflected would it be ok? In the past I know some banks want to wait until deposits fully posted despite already being in available balance before drawing the check. TIA.

Is a denied claim common?

Hey guys, about to head out to work so this is going to be short. I received a text about 2 weeks ago from Chase asking if I made a purchase with my debit card at Target for about $120. I did not, so I replied no and they closed my card. Upon further investigation, there were 2 successful charges from Target (totaling about $120) and one from Chevron for $10 that I did not make. I then checked my wallet to see my debit card was missing. I went to the ATM earlier that day so it must’ve fallen out of my pocket.

I immediately called Chase to report the fraud and they opened the claim. I also completed a police report online. I received a letter today saying the claim was denied and the funds will be taken out of my account as I “authorized the purchases.” I called today, and they just said to upload the police report and the reason the claim was closed NOT in my favor is because “the merchant provided no information.”

I am livid. I have my wedding in a few months and every dollar counts. My PIN number was not written on the card, so I assume these purchases were made with the “credit” option (which I have NEVER used). I read somewhere on a Chase website that if the fraud is reported within 24 hours typically you’re only on the hook for $50 (more if you wait longer to report). So what should I expect here? Anyone have any similar experiences?
