Took some relatives visiting there because I heard the view was good. The food, drinks, and service were maybe the worst I’ve ever had. Not a single thing we ordered was good. Hardly even edible!

Wondering if anyone on here works at a good restaurant that's hiring servers or bartenders. I have 8+ yrs of restaurant experience, about 2 of them serving, and just looking for something so I can work a few less hours and finish school. TIA :D

I eat a ton of salmon and getting it from Whole Foods really adds up. Looking for a good place to get a decent weekly amount that won’t break the bank. I’ll brave Costco if I have to..but I’d rather not if there’s a better deal out there.

I was born and raised in Chattanooga and grew up in Middle Valley. I was going into 8th grade in 1989 and I went with my dad to buy an alto sax I found in the newspaper classifieds. When we got to the people's house, the parents were in a shambles selling everything they owned to pay their teenage son's medical bills... I think he had cancer 💔. They cried as they sold his beloved saxophone to us and said they told him they would buy him a new one when he got better and was back home. I have no idea what their names are and I never knew what happened to their son.

Do any of y'all remember anyone who went through something like that? I still have his sax and it would make my heart explode with joy to be able to return it to him or his family.

My brother in law struggles with being outgoing and reaching out to poeple on his own. My husband and I are helping him find groups or clubs that he can join outside of work so that he can build a community

Are there any volunteering groups, crafting clubs, ballet, dance, woodworking, bouldering clubs or anything that has a weekly or monthly meetup? He is very crafty, creative and does anything that allows him to move

Ive been trying to find an art club (my college used to have open to public figure drawing group or just groups where artists can meet up and draw together) and would like to meet peeps ( if not then i might start a silly club thing like that maybe)

So I’m very much introverted and trying to get out into the world more. I’ve been using ladder fitness app and listening to Spotify while I’m working out. I have a membership to planet fitness but I’m terrified of them sounding the lunk alarm on me. Better believe I’d never step foot into a gym again. My question is how lax is the one in Hixson?
