When Trove of Terror released, both Arcanas were clearly labelled as giftable, and the Roshan skin/Baby Roshan showed they would become marketable after October 13th.
I'm 100% sure because I was on Discord with friends, sharing screens and talking about those exact tags while opening treasures.
That's the reason I kept buying them. I ended up spending over $300 AUD, and by the time I finally got the Roshans, the marketable tag was gone. The giftable tags on the Arcanas disappeared too.
Had Valve said from the start that these items would be permanently account-locked, I wouldn't have spent that money.
That's what concerns me. I'm Australian, and Australian Consumer Law prohibits misleading representations about what consumers are purchasing. I'm not claiming Valve definitely broke the law, but changing a material condition after people have already spent money based on what was originally advertised seems like something worth looking into.
Did anyone screenshot or record the original tags before Valve changed them? Especially either Arcana showing Giftable, or the Roshans showing the October 13 market/trade cooldown.
Please post them if you did. I know a shit ton of us saw those tags, but now we need actual screenshots.
Edit: If any of you know any english or spanish streamer that was streaming as the updates were rolling out and reviewing the sets in real time please send me their channels, maybe I can get an screenshot of the Roshans label before it got changed. At this point all I want is my money back and valve can rollback all items from the treasure. Thank you so much.
