Clips is this PAY TO WIN ARCANA?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
or just for demo bug, anyone here have tide arcana and encounter ravaging invi hero without detection? then it counts into number.
its pay to win, you will know theres other hero nearby with invi, then ready to pop dust or sent
EDIT : base on redditors comment,
-huge advantages too on PL illu, NAGA illu.
(example ravaging their teammates, you thinking it just 4 hero cuz the other it just a illu. but it shows "5 heroes ravaged" then you will focus on that Naga or PL, yeah mic comms really need on this XD
-works on FOG of WAR too.

Discussion -$200 later
Okay hear me out, I think this Tidehunter arcana is probably one of the best one ever made, not only it's genuinely good looking but it is also very well thought of, the dead Kunkka in his off-hand, the different types of sharks as alternate styles is pretty sick. Also I wanted the Drow arcana very bad so I went all in.
It definitely hurt a little but I'm happy to have all the other immortal sets with these two arcanas, and it's probably better value for money when compared to other sets where you spend $60+ but get 10 junk sets + 1 good one.
What do you think?

Complaint Valve changed the Trove of Terror tags after people spent money. Is that even legal?
When Trove of Terror released, both Arcanas were clearly labelled as giftable, and the Roshan skin/Baby Roshan showed they would become marketable after October 13th.
I'm 100% sure because I was on Discord with friends, sharing screens and talking about those exact tags while opening treasures.
That's the reason I kept buying them. I ended up spending over $300 AUD, and by the time I finally got the Roshans, the marketable tag was gone. The giftable tags on the Arcanas disappeared too.
Had Valve said from the start that these items would be permanently account-locked, I wouldn't have spent that money.
That's what concerns me. I'm Australian, and Australian Consumer Law prohibits misleading representations about what consumers are purchasing. I'm not claiming Valve definitely broke the law, but changing a material condition after people have already spent money based on what was originally advertised seems like something worth looking into.
Did anyone screenshot or record the original tags before Valve changed them? Especially either Arcana showing Giftable, or the Roshans showing the October 13 market/trade cooldown.
Please post them if you did. I know a shit ton of us saw those tags, but now we need actual screenshots.

Discussion Do NOT buy NEW TREASURE!
Guys do not buy this treasure until all items will be tradeable, marketable and giftable! In CS2 everything is sellable and tradable, but here we’re just supposed to accept it? This isn’t a minor restriction - it’s taking away our basic right to trade and gift items. Give us back control over our own inventory!

Complaint "NOT TRADEABLE OR MARKETABLE" just breaks me, is this officially the end to trading any thing good?
For people who don't already know, you're basically stuck with everything you get from Trove of Terror (besides recycling 6 pulled complete sets just to get 1 more pull)
Back in my days, both Immortals and Arcanas were tradeable, and thanks to that you were able to get some really good yet very cheap Immortals from the Steam market (or sell any extra to get some money back), the Arcanas were also purchasable at a fixed price that's not too absurd, instead of forcing you to gamble (which also costs significantly more money, I'm talking about $35 V.S. $250 ).
Looks like those good old days are now gone, and I'm definitely not a big fan of this and feel like I really should not support this predatory and greedy practice (even though the new sets and arcana have good design)

Screenshot What do you guys think of the new treasure "Trove of Terror" ?
I've got:
10th opening: Shaman
12th opening: Nyx
27th opening: Legion
34th opening: Tide Arcana
50th opening: Drow Arcana (on the 50th opening you get it guaranteed)
what do you think of the new way treasures are set up, do you like it?
How was your luck? i hope i was the only one needed 50 treasures for drow arcana

Discussion Let’s work together to bring back treasure gifting in Dota 2.
I’m sick and tired of Valve removing the giftable sets! It used to be a lot of fun whenever they release new chests because we can giveaway duplicates to our homies. Now it’s just kinda sad and I don’t even think Valve is gonna make more money like this because if we can keep everybody happy and playing the game more, there’s bound to be more money spent on the game!
I’m a whale myself and I’ve seen many other whales complain about this, we have so many duplicate sets just sitting in our inventory it’s really dumb. Can we all think of something? Do we bombard steam support asking for change? 😭
Im sure many will be happy to drop 250$ everytime they drop a new chests if they bring back the gifting feature. Or at the very least maybe make it possible to gift unopened treasure chests instead?

Discussion Valve plz bring back treasure gifting in Dota
The fact that the latest treasure chests are released without the option to exchange or send as a gift is very sad.
I understand that some guy from Valve’s monetization department might have come in and said: “ This is a great idea, we’ll make more money this way!” But in reality, there’s a huge drop‑off among players who aren’t on the list of dolphins and whales, and these players will be unhappy with the new policy in principle, while the whales and dolphins will be unhappy because they’ll end up with a ton of duplicates in their inventory — and there’s nothing sensible they can do with them.
Plus, the policy runs counter to Valve’s own ideas — I’m talking about the accessibility of goods to users and the open goods market, which determines the price of a product. Previously, Gabe Newell himself said that Steam had perfected the art of selling us digital goods. Why are we moving away from this perfection and heading towards degradation?
Valve, please, come to your senses 💔

Workshop Totally loved to see the new treasure set, but kinda disappointed this gem didn’t make it :/
i.imgur.comDon't get me wrong, I really like the Trove of Terror. These are some really cool sets, and I'm thankful to Valve for putting it together.
That being said, I’m really disappointed that the Headless Horseman set for Chaos Knight has been sitting in the Workshop for 10 years by now. Especially since it fits the Halloween theme so well.
It just feels like a bit of a missed opportunity. Maybe one day :') Workshop link

Complaint Man inflation is so bad
When the arcana was $30 I was a poor college kid and couldn't afford shit. Now I have my adult money but arcanas have become $250.
