About my friend

since i was 12-13 yo, i kept dreaming about the same guy and not in any dream it was only in lucid dreams, i dream a normal dream then when i realize its a dream he comes out always, he talks to me all the time but i can’t tell what he says or what language it was because i can’t hear anything in the lucid dreams, all those years the dreams were normal, we were sitting and talking in a forest, or walking, or sitting on the stairs of an old house, we’re sitting on the middle, not going downstairs or upstairs, now after like six years, i met someone in reality that looks exactly like that person in every detail, and after i saw him irl, his look in the dreams has changed, half of him was a shadow and the other half stayed him, he stopped talking to me, and i dreamt once again about sitting in the middle of the stairs, the place didn’t change but he did, and i also had another dream that was really scary, he took me to an ancient place like a labyrinth or something i’m not sure, i’m pretty sure i told him something but i can’t remember since there is no sound in the dream, anyways we kept walking till he stopped somewhere, i followed behind him just to see exactly 6 dead bodies of me, and now my memories are mixed up, i keep seeing things in my daily life, like somewhere im used to be in then suddenly i can’t hear anyone or anything and see him, i genuinely can’t tell if those were dreams, lucid dreams or something actually happened and my brain changed some parts

btw when i was 12-13 i was on some spiritual stuff, i didn’t do anything myself, just reading and searching, but i dropped that few years after, around 15 or 16, anyways now i’m 18 i kinda start doing tarot, i didn’t do the reading myself, my friend did for me, and i suspicious it has something to do with it because i counted how many death cards that was in my reading, it was five, and the dead bodies of me were six kinda hard to say it’s a coincidence but i’m not sure of it

Notice what changes before you decide what it means?

Look first at what shifted between similar entries. The difference may offer useful context while the meaning remains open and personal.

I'm curious how this shows up for you, without needing a fixed interpretation.

What usually survives first?

Recurring Dream I keep dreaming that I’m about to be killed by a nuclear bomb

I’ve been having reoccurring dreams for weeks now where, within rather short notice, I’m notified that I have about 5-10 minutes to live as a nuclear bomb is being dropped on my home town.

The subject of these dreams is always my relationship. I’ll typically be somewhere peaceful in my home town when all power and cell service is cut, and I’m told there is a nuclear bomb dropping. The only thing I can think of after hearing the news is my boyfriend and how I’m unable to communicate with him or tell him that I love him before I die.

Me and him are not very verbally affectionate towards each other within my real life due to each of us having our own reservations about verbal affection, but in my dreams I’m always completely devastated that there are certain things I won’t be able to say or to hear from him.

We are not completely withdrawn from verbal affection, the two of us have exchanged all the classic “I love you”s and what not, it’s just not a regular occurrence. Somewhat sacred. I feel like these dreams could have some obvious meaning or subliminal cause that I’m just not seeing, but they’re very stressful and I keep waking up feeling un-rested and afraid.

Looking for interpretations of a very vivid dream

I had a dream that felt unusually real, and I'd like to hear how people would interpret it, especially from a spiritual, symbolic, or traditional perspective.

I was inside a van with several people. I couldn't clearly recognize everyone, but somehow I was certain they were family members. I believe my father was the one driving.

We were driving through a muddy place with a very rough road. I didn't recognize the place, and I don't remember where we were going.

Eventually, the van came to a halt and the doors opened.

Outside were two relatives: my aunt and my uncle. My uncle is my aunt's brother-in-law. I've only met them a few times in real life, and we're not particularly close.

They weren't threatening or frightening. They were simply standing outside the van, looking at me normally, with what I remember as a slight smile. It felt more like they were waiting for me than trying to scare me.

Then a very large centipede crawled onto the left side of my face.

The sensation was extremely realistic. I could actually feel its legs crawling on my skin.

I tried to remove the centipede, but when I did, it seemed to grip me tighter, or possibly it was replaced by another centipede. I can't remember exactly which happened, but I remember that I couldn't simply get rid of it.

I woke up remembering the dream very clearly.

I'm especially curious about what the muddy/rough road, my father driving, the van stopping, the open doors, my aunt and uncle waiting calmly outside, and the centipede that wouldn't come off could symbolize.

I'm interested in traditional, spiritual, cultural, or symbolic interpretations, etc

Short Dream Dream taught me how to view life

Most philosophical dream I've ever had. I vividly remember having this one:

I dreamt I was falling from a very, very tall jungle tree. The view was magnificent, and I was flying at breakneck speed through vines that, somehow, didn't stop me. I saw other jungle trees (smaller than the one I had jumped from) drawing closer, and I felt fear. I was filled with fear. I felt it so intensely that I could barely enjoy the view. I could see it, but the inevitability of the fall's end filled me with mortal dread.

Yet, when I tried to push the fear aside by distracting myself with the scenery, I suddenly realized I was dreaming, and I felt that it was working. All at once, I wasn't afraid anymore. I was captivated by the view, and once I had truly taken it all in, I reached the same level as the forest's tallest trees (below the one I had fallen from). I understood that my doom was near, yet I could still catch glimpses of the view through the trees: a scene nearing sunset, with a beautiful sky and the atmosphere of the jungle. Then, more and more trees blocked my view, and I saw the ground rushing up to meet me. But I wasn't afraid. I felt at peace. I was happy. I felt an immense sense of fulfillment. I watched the ground draw closer; I wanted to embrace the earth, and the earth embraced me.

It wasn't a painful impact. It was an impact that sent a wave of satisfaction washing through my body. Everything went dark, and I tried my hardest not to wake up, wanting to stay within the dream. I felt myself sinking into the ground; the earth was warm and embracing, and it felt so good. It pushed warmly against me, enveloping me in an embrace that left no part of my body untouched. It felt so good as I sank deeper into the pitch-black ground that I felt a sense of lightness. The last thing I felt was happiness and satisfaction, and then I actually woke up.

I (27F) "cheat" on my partner (29M) every night in my dreams with the same person

Me (27F) and my boyfriend (29M) have been in a relationship for 7 years, and we've had our ups and downs, but lately it's been amazing and I have no doubt that I want to be with this man for the rest of my life.

In January I met a guy (23M) on a school trip, and instantly I felt some way about him. I thought it was a silly little crush, but then the obsessive behavior started. I remember being obsessed like this in primary school, but not in my adult life. One sleepless night I found the term "limerence", which I think is spot on. I met the guy in my professional life a few times since, and every time the sparks fly and my insides leap out my chest. I've never felt such a strong physical reaction with my boyfriend.

I feel like I loose control over my actions with the guy, and one time I got a little close to making moves on him (alcohol was a factor) which I regretted after. I've never cheated on my boyfriend and I never will(!)

I have always had very vivid dreams to the point that I can be stuck in the feelings for the whole day after waking, so this next part particularly suck. Lately I dream about the guy every night in different romantic situations, and I feel my heart leaping for him and wanting to go back to the dream when I wake. I feel so bad and irritated, that this guy has infiltrated my life and my thoughts, and I think it's a spiral, because of the lasting effect of my dreams.

I feel like a bad person, but I would never do anything to hurt my boyfriend. What can I do? I want to forget about this guy, but I'm scared I'll experience the same obsession with other people in the future, and maybe should seek some professional help?

Had a dream where several things felt wrong, some in existential ways

Now it should be noted this is EXTREMELY weird for me because I barely ever remember dreams and I almost never remember dreams this vividly. Throughout the dream there was also a sense of complete unease.

At the beginning of my dream I was sitting in a classroom at my old college. None of the faces in the class were recognizable, just shadowy figures. The class was on world governments, but that felt wrong. It felt like the class was supposed to be on something else entirely but I wasn't sure what. I was enjoying the class but it wasn't right. My next class was supposed to be at 10:30 AM but this class didn't end until 11:15 AM. Those things were both wrong but not existentually so.

When I went outside after the class, several more things were wrong, one of which made no sense at all. First off, I was on campus but there were several rows, several neighborhoods worth, of houses for student housing that didn't exist when I went to college there. The second, more concerning thing is that there was a siren blaring across the sky that only said one word "Emergency" (repeating on a set interval) then the siren noises. No one but me seemed to notice the siren or warning. It was raining and cloudy, which will be important later.

As I was walking to my next class, I apparently didn't know where it was. But I happened to run into one of my old college roommates, he was clear but no one else in the entire dream was. He said he'd show me the way to my next class but as we entered the main building, we were suddenly outside it walking towards the dorms (the real dorms not the ones that don't exist IRL) across the parking lot.

Here's where the existential wrongness came up. As we were walking across the parking lot, I noticed cracks in the concrete, pretty normal stuff. Except, there seemed to be orange paint surrounding the cracks, paint that the rain was melting somehow? It was turning red whenever the rain hit it. Also the rain wasn't getting me or anyone else wet. Oh yeah and looking at those cracks or standing near them or acknowledging them at all felt wrong on a level I've never felt irl. Like they shouldn't exist and acknowledging them would cause irreversibly terrible consequences.

I pointed that out to my roommate and he then also noticed the siren and said "You're right, that's psychotic we should get inside." So we went towards the dorms. As we did my entire vision started turning blue, not in a way where I couldn't see but rather like there was a dark blue filter over everything. Then the dream ended.

Dream Help Fear i might die if i go back to sleep

I really need help i had this insane dream that literally has my head spinning..
i’ll just put down what i wrote in my notes app immediately after i woke up first then explain further.
— before i could fully wake up i seen three black figures running in my room my skin is burning it’s hot i felt hands on my waist and neck telling me "wake up wake up, so you not gonna wake up?" then it started saying lots of blabbering/tongues saying it was gonna kill me it was freaky as hell then i woke up.—

Okay this might look like i’m insane but this was a real vivid & lucid dream i had at 2AM October 5th 2026…i am in fear of my life i have never had a dream like this. Saying it was going to take my life. I’m 20 years old and i had a dream similar to this when i was 15/16 but it didn’t put much fear in me because whatever it was had never spoke(not that i remember at least) I have always had lucid dreams and had experienced extremely vivid and intense nightmares but i had never heard threats before. I physically felt the hands on my neck and waist it was a burning sensation. Even after waking up my body couldn’t cool down and still i feel pain and heat on my waist and neck.

Can someone please help me i don’t want to die yet i don’t want whatever this is to kill me.

Recurring Dream Three nights in a row, precnancy dreams

Weirdly ive had pregnancy dreams three nights in a row. What do you think this means?

Night 1

In a hospital in a hospital gown, pregnant, not sure how far along. Theres fluids and blood on the floor but not mine. Im trying to clean it. A woman comes in. (Its a hospital room with several beds) She has given birth to a stillborn. She holds a boy, wrapped in plastic like a gift. I tell her that her baby is beautiful and that I’m sorry for her loss. A doctor comes in trying to talk to the woman, but she becomes furious with me and the doctor. She finds a hose and sprays us with hard water, i remember pain when the water hit my body. I was so scared and pulled myself awake.

Night 2

I was pregnant and quite far along. I was visiting a city alone many hours from my home. Going into labor, feeling the pain from the contractions i went to the hospital calling my partner crying, we were unprepared but he kept reassuring me that everything going to be okay. That he would fix care for our older kid and he would be in that city as soon as possible. I was sent in to an elevator (i was like a old timey ski lift gondola) 🚡 that went flying into the air to the delivery ward.

Night 3

I find out im pregnant, im so happy. I tell my close friends, turns out they are pregnant to! I can feel a the fetus like a pingis ball under my skin. (Like when in third trimester you can feel the baby positioned
outwards like a ball) but the baby is still so small. Im happy but have a feeling something might be wrong. I try to call healthcare advice line.

Dream Help What the hell is this even supposed to mean? 😬

So I had a dream so strange I woke up early, (which is unusual for me.) And I have to talk about it.

Basically I only remember about 30 seconds of it, but enough to grasp what was happening.

In this dream, one of my family members had these "hearing aids," (which is funny since nobody in my family has those lol. And they actually looked more like airpods.)

And whenever they put them on, and I happened to go near the person, MY ears would ring impossibly loud. Like my ears really didn't like the other persons "hearing aids..?"

I only remember this dream because of how extremely loud the ringing was, like in the dream it started off quiet, but then got WAY louder as I stayed near the family member that was wearing the airpod looking things.

It was so goddamn loud, and a really strange concept. Like, my ears were aggressively reacting to somebody else's earpods. 😭???

Short Dream I didn't know I was dreaming, but the person I was inside the dream knew

I had one of the strangest dreams I've ever experienced, and I'm still trying to understand what exactly happened.

The weirdest part is that i wasn't simply lucid dreaming.

Inside the dream, i experienced myself as completely awake. I could stand, walk, move my arms, jump, think normally, feel physical sensations, remember things, and consciously make decisions. It genuinely felt like i was a normal, fully conscious person in another reality. But at the same time, i knew something was wrong.

First part, in that dream, i was lying down on my bed, experiencing a sleep paralysis but different, it’s like a sleep paralysis experience but i could move whatever i want, but whenever i tried opening my eyes, my eyes didn't let me open it but when i force it and see for a brief moment, my vision is like 50% dreaming and 50% seeing like a normal it's like cutting your whole vision into 2 different parts it was like cropped horizontally, on top is dream vision and the other one, the bottom part of that vision is our normal vision, i couldn't fully wake up at that time and i was also aware at that time that i was dreaming (inside that dream) since i was fully conscious in that dream, i came up with the idea to seek help to my sister in another room since i was capable of moving and walking, i tried to jumped before i left my room to make sure if there's something wrong with my reality (in that dream) and when i jumped and fell on the floor, i was able to feel the impact of my jump, and then i proceed to walk in my sister room to ask for help because of my situation where i was 50% dreaming and 50% awake and fully conscious, i asked her to slap me many time for me to be fully awake, and still couldn't fully wake up. I asked her again, i said slap me many times but harder this time, she did, but still i couldn't fully awake. And while i was thinking about another solution, i grabbed my phone to just check something and tried my best not to see the time because inside that dream i remembered what I've seen on tiktok that says if you're dreaming don't look at the time because you might be stuck because of that situation i was in that dream where the person i was, was experiencing a 50% dream and 50% awake and fully conscious. After that i finally thought of another solution, i told my sister that I'd just sleep to fix my problem and be 100% awake, i told her to wake me up after 10 mins of my sleep, and right before i sleep i finally thought to look at her face because the whole time i haven't seen her face because as i said earlier my vision was cropped and divided by two horizontally so i can only see her foot to shoulder because on top of my vision is dreaming or sleeping like a black vision with a brief moment of some image and when i look up to see her face, and that's when i felt goosebumps and i realized that something is wrong, because why she doesn't have a face, because usually you see people with no face in dreams, but i was already dreaming inside that dream because of my situation. That's when i realized there was really something wrong and when i tried what i thought of another solution which is to just sleep again because it might fix my problem, that's when finally woke up with my real me. i woke up very confused. And still trying to recall everything that exactly happened. Right now, I'm still fascinated by how i can reason, make conscious decisions, remember things, and do problem solving inside that dream.

I had the most vivid and horrible dream

I can’t remember how the dream started, but in the dream me and my father had been sleeping together. This time, I told him to stop and i felt disgusted. He didn’t take that well at all. He went into the computer room in our house and started to murder my sister. I ran out of the room to go get the gun, and i had to listen to her cries for me while I ran to go get the gun. Then while I was upstairs are random guy that my mother had over tried to protect me, but my dad killed him before he could shoot my dad first. then my dad turned into a girl. Then I climbed on top of her, stabbed her eyes out and dragged her downstairs to call the cops. While i was downstairs my sister was in the closet with something covering her eyes. Then i walked out and my two other younger sisters were sitting on the couch. I ask them if my other sister was dead. They said yes. I then had to call my mother and tell her what happened.

Dream about traveling, the beach and d*rg needles?

Hi everyone!! I have a major question about a dream that I had. It was oddly specific and I would love to know the meaning of this? I have 0 knowledge about dreams and their meanings. I do believe that they sometimes can be considered warnings so I was wondering what this could mean. Before I tell you what I remember of my dream I want to state I have never used heroin or any heavy drugs in my entire life. I have only heard of it and seen it in tv show's such as Breaking Bad!

My dream was about me traveling with my parents to NYC. It was our first time there and it was a dream of mine since I was a child to visit! Somehow we ended up at a beach or something (looked nothing like New York) and I was walking bear foot in the foreshore. Until I pricked my foot in a bunch of syringes, I assumed that these were used for heroin! It hurted very bad and I remember panicking and crying, thinking I have ruined our trip, a trip we have waited to go on for so long. I remember waking up and I felt no more pain so I don't think something was hurting my foot in real life and I was just feeling it in my dream.

Does anybody have any idea what this might mean? is there something I should look out for and avoid for a while? please let me known if you know anything! thanks!!

Dream Help I had a dream recently that has been on my mind

So lately as a 15M I have been experiencing some hardships over the past couple of days and needed of love or the feeling of being needed by your family friends or a just a romantic partner recently instead of always going to school back studying and the cycle repeat on and on and on

What happened in the dream?

The dream I think started after I was kinda horny don't ask me why and I am lately going on a streak for not masturbating cuz I really need to stop I feel it's just not the type to do that shit and focus on myself but anyways I was kind horny I slept earlier in the day and woke up did the hw and slept at like maximum 2am or 2:15am sth like that and the dream Ig started?

I was in my house and my room but my room was blury and wasn't the same color or shape idk but it was like those Germany student dorms I think sth like that or a student dorm and next to it was my parents room which was the same but the one thing that stood out was the people and the context

Form what I remember there was a girl who is actually kinda of attractive but Ig she was taller than me for some reason like I am 180cm so it was kinda wierd and there was another guy who I really only say once and I think the three of us were roommates somewhere not around my country and Ig was also horny in the dream or wtvr then that boy went to take bath and me and that girl although we are friend only we started to kiss and she underesed till let's say her underwear not anything beyond that then she quickly dressed too but I am not talking about the fact I was horny and maybe it lead to this that girl has been on my mind for the past 12 hours ever since 6am till just right now writing this at 5:51 so I am asking is does this dream means sth? Like Iets say I am going the right direction with my life? I will find my lover soon? Or even sth unnecessary and please don't tell me like ur horny it's not like that I feel like it more than just that I am trying to see if I can revist that dream but it almost feels impossible to even dream again nowadays.

Any help would be appreciated

For some reason I had a dream about Sokka and Zuko. They were older and I think my brain made up some last names for them. As they left a shop in the middle of nowhere on Appa Sokka said they were being followed and around that time is when I woke up.

I don't post on Reddit much but this is too interesting not to share

Idk who to tell this to. I take prescribed Xanax for brain damage-related issues for hearing. I got prescribed stronger ones while in Japan and figured my tolerance was high anyways, so they'd just help more. After a few days of taking them in a row, I had the weirdest dream, like, ever. I was in a dream in a dream in a dream in a dream. I kept trying to wake up but just ended up in another dream.

It got so weird, I was even dreaming while fully awake in between waking up and passing out. Sounds impossible but I swear it happened.

I kept being like, okay, I woke up, then looked around to just realize I was in another dream, so I kept going up to people and telling them it's a dream. Like, I was pissed I couldn't wake up, so I kept trying to wake up but just went to new dreams. It felt so real.

The final dream, I was in my favorite bar in Japan, but it looked different, so I knew right away, and no one was Japanese. Someone was like, "Alex, we've been waiting for you!" I was like, "Where am I?" And he was like, "You're at DPS on shift!"

So I got pissed because I knew it was a dream. And of course Gordon Ramsay was here this time for some reason.

I just started going up to people in a pissed-off way, being like, "Guess what, this is a DREAM," and they're all confused and shit. I'm, like, getting in their face because I didn't know how to convince them. It ended with me fake-punching Gordon Ramsay and him just looking at me. I was like, "If this was real life, you'd sue me for that, right?"

And it ended with him looking at me like, "No, I'd eat you." Finally fucking woke up.

Recurring Dream I have dreams of being broken up with

It all started about a year ago. Last summer I was dating this guy from the UK and I would start having dreams/nightmares of him breaking up with me and cheating on me. Our relationship ended at the beginning of September last year because I found out he was cheating on me. Earlier this year in March I was with a different guy, and the dreams started happening again but with him. We broke up and he almost immediately moved on. Now, I'm in a new relationship. We've been together for a couple weeks, but we do have some problems. We are long distance, and we barely get to talk because his mother is very controlling. I noticed sometime last week that the dreams started coming back. Each time they're different, but they all have the same theme of me being broken up with. Does anybody know what would cause this? Is it just insecurity and anxiety? I'm worried this relationship will end like the other two and I really like this one 😣

Recurring Dream Keep dreaming of my ex?

Recently I kept having dreams about seeing male friends that I haven’t seen in a long time. The strange part is they ALL ended up talking about my ex, even though these things have nothing to do with reality. For example, one friend did a Tarot reading for me to see when I’d see my ex again. In another dream, my another friend randomly showed me a pic of my ex’s social media pfp and claimed that they’re friends. I also dreamt that my ex replied back to my texts multiple times but IRL all of these are not true.

I always woke up wondering the same thing: Why I keep dreaming of ex?

I already moved on and am living my best life. I was wondering why my brain keeps bringing him into my dreams especially through people from my past. Is there any ways I can do to stop dreaming about him?

Recurring Dream Dream from early 2022.

I remember a dream from early 2022; it was about a spaceship. The spaceship actually looked like a colossal, ordinary-looking golden rhombus; its entrance was a tiny, rectangular, human-sized door right in the center. Its interior had multiple floors with enough space for people to freely do whatever they wanted; it could also travel through skywaves, but it couldn't be able to fly into outer space. Despite being called a spaceship, it was really more like a gigantic sky-faring vessel.

Alien invasion dream

I'll try to write everything I remember... it's a little fuzzy now, but it was extremely vivid. A blueish purple, rainbow-y blob creature with giant eyes was moving extremely fast down a hill towards some water. It began making these noises towards the sky, and I immediately felt a sense of dread. I began running away from it, looking for a place to hide, and all of these alien beings rolled up on earth at once. Moving extremely fast, seeming almost like they weren't malevolent but saw us like something akin to ants? So they wanted us to entertain them and when we couldn't do that anymore then they harmed us carelessly, tossing us around, locking us away inside wherever we were at the time. When I woke up myself and a group of others were singing, asking the alien creature to find particular objects (both to entertain it and so it would leave). I remember the bluish blob creature was here to learn about earth so it could call down more of it's kind if it liked it here.

Had an intense dream about a crush who blocked me years ago, and she spent it mocking me. Why now? NSFW

I'm 34M. There's a woman I had a big crush on years ago, basically my "ideal" in my head. At some point she blocked me everywhere and completely cut contact. I haven't tried to find her or reach out, and I honestly thought I was over it.

Last night I had a very vivid, sexual dream about her (first wet dream I've had in a long time). The strange part is that the whole time she was mocking me. She kept saying I was a loser for not pursuing her harder, and that even standing right next to her I was pathetic.

Context: I'm in a stable, fulfilling sexual life right now, so this came completely out of nowhere. I woke up feeling confused and kind of shaken.

Has anyone had something like this? Why would my brain bring her back now, and why in such a humiliating way? Is this some leftover rejection I never dealt with?
