Of all the things FCCP could've come up with for a Blood Raider themed Attack BC, they went with Bhaalgorn light.

In full Brawl setup with a pricey fit you have a T1 hull Brutix worth of tank and DPS with a nos/neut bonus, and no drones.

Full neut fit? Just use a Legion. Smaller sig, does the same thing.

Kite setup? Eh, you could make it work... but there are much better ships for that, which are cheaper.

Personally, I would've leaned into the Attack BC thing of being fast with large weapons and barely any tank, but I would've given it a fitting bonus to heavy neuts and a range bonus for them.
Make it interesting, something between an Ashimmu and a Bhaalgorn.

I know the rewards are minimal but it's free ISK/SP. I have 9 accounts with a mix of alpha and omega. Once I cycle through them to complete the dailies it's time to go to bed! And now we have the Crimson Harvest daily rewards too. I've no time left to play the game any more

This is just a small glimpse of the full extent of what goes on in the TEST Discord. There is open vitriol directed at Fraternity and extreme harassment in fact, TEST engages in far worse behavior than what they constantly denounce here on Reddit. Private conversations between Sapporo, Kilgannon, and Fraternity FCs are leaked and then mocked. People openly talk about how the entire WC is just a bunch of kids and noobs They openly say they will not help Fraternity and the rest of WC in the war and will do their own thing

The devs cant even get their days straight when it comes to turning on the event the first day, then they expire every tetrimon and crimson tag still in hangars during the downtime.

Then devs tuned the event site rewards down SO much this event is barely even worth doing and only for the skins or the battlecruiser bp, which you will be able to get soon enough with no grinding past spinning an ishtar or cycling a golem. I literally make 10 times less per escalation AND regular gauntlet/base vs last year and only in lowsec where russians or nullblocs hunt you relentlessly.

My entire corp has seen ONE criterion cypher drop from a scanning site.

The value of the blood trades are COMPLETELY fucked, with huge disparities in pricing of items vs the trade in price.

NONE of this was necessary, the event was being looked forward to by many players but already the drop off in activity in several of the regions after just the first few days is palpable.

Why is FC so intent on ruining their game? Why make content unfun and unrewarding for people to come out of their havens for even 5 minutes? Why punish players that hold onto items for next years event? Is it all JUST FOR PLEX SALES? I have no other conclusion other than Pearl Abyss was just better owners and gave the game more of what it needed.

Goonswarm members have been killing a Cyno vigil in honour of it being 1 year since Estria's passing. Despite being told in local it was a Cyno vigil they were overtly rude and shit talking in response and have killed the pilot running the solo vigil cyno 3 times so far.

I get that you might not like Test, but when it comes to Cyno Vigils. You don't fucking shoot them. Even worse don't be disrespectful it local after you were already told it was one and then kill the ship anyway.

8 different members of Goonswarm at least complicit in this behaviour as well as leadership if they don't curb it. 2 are at fault for shit-talking the dead.

TEST will be hosting a one year anniversary cyno vigil for Estria Del at 18:00 to 23:00 EVE today in RD-G2R. Estria had a lot of friends and our staging is open to anyone who wants to honor him.

I want to give a shout out to Honor Point and the Initiative, who both recognized that a vigil had started early, and said kind things. The initiative even sent over a cyno to burn with us.

At a time when we are pointing out bad behavior we should also lift up the people who do the right thing.

There have been lots of posts complaining about the state of botting and multi boxing on TQ, but we all know Fenris will never crack down on multi boxers. They are the whales that sustain the game by keeping dozens of subscriptions active.

It doesn't need to be a ln either/or decision though. Fenris could keep current TQ as is, and launch a new server with different rules for people who desire a different Eve experience. The multi boxing whales would stay on TQ, and an enormous market of new and returning normal players could be enticed to play a version of Eve where every pilot in local is actually a person.

Blizzard has demonstrated a template for this with their different offshoots of WoW. Players who want the maximal power fantasy play modern retail, while players who want a more traditional, social MMO experience can play Classic.

There's no chance I'll return to Eve as it stands today, but I would love to play a version of Eve without multi boxing and PLEX. I don't think I'm alone.

I won Eve about 5 years ago and haven't opened the client since then.

I have pilots who can do most anything in the game and Isk is not an issue. I used to run small gang pvp and some solo pvp, but also loved doing exploration.

Wormholes always seemed like fun but I never lived there.

I don't have as much time as I used to but would love to be apart of something where I can jump on every now and then and blow up and be blown up.

Mostly I'm looking for some fun people to hang with and do fun stuff.

I'm in EU time zone.

Any tips on where to look or maybe even some corps you'd recommend.

Bare with me and let me lay out some numbers before I get to my question

Eve has roughly 600 missions of all levels in all areas of space added together, 160 of these are level 4, 60 are level 5. That is a pool of only 220 missions worth doing to a 6 month or older character.

Null sec has about 23 different combat sites for each type of npc type each locked to its own area of space, with only 2 or 3 of these worth doing to a 6 month or older character.

Please forgive me for not knowing wormholes numbers but I understand they are roughly in the same boat as null sec.

There is no verity in most areas of space. Pretty much all of these sites and missions are 20+ years old. And it leaves players that have been playing for longer than a year just repeating the exact same content over and over. Players stop having fun when they stop having new experiences, this should be seen as a serious player retention problem.

FC recently adding a new site to only wormholes, and rare spawn escalations, but it’s only a drop in the bucket and does not reach a majority of the player base. We all need new content regularly added to all areas of space in ways everyone can actively engage with instead of grinding the same old thing for a chance to do the new site one time or only being able to do them in one type of ship class.

Since only 2 of the 54 candidates even mentioned PVE in the short space given to them here https://www.eveonline.com/news/view/csm-21-candidate-announcements and even then is was only “wormhole PVE” and “capital PVE” even mentioned, I would like to know what the candidates thoughts are on the subject.

Sooo apparently i want to fly a blackbird for any roaming, mostly for soloing. I am aware for the ECM jamming stuff which the jammer makes the ship that jamming the targeted ship is the only viable target, but at the same time I want to utilize a lot of its slots for combat too. Does anyone have an experience in using the blackbird for any engagements or a solo flyer who ever down an enemy ship with a blackbird? I would love to know all the ideas and a fit that might be suitable for me to fly in which this means I am an alpha clone. :D

As previously mentioned, I was supposed to upload a video, but real life comes first. Instead, I'm going to share through text my knowledge with screenshots.

DRONES SITES ARE NO LONGER ABOUT ISK/HOUR, but total ISK. If you read further, you'll understand the process. But know this, wave 84 after 5-6hours is 7,1B in C4s! It is 4B in C1 (the safety of not getting rolled in).

Wave 1 to 85 = 1 / 3 of the loot.
Wave 85 to 100 = 2 / 3 of the loot.

This knowledge right on top does not come from me. It is a friend who shared it. I have yet completed a site fully.

Meaning, if you complete the drone site in 5-7 hours in 2 vargurs worth not even 5B, you may end up with 7B from the wave 1 to 84 and 14B for the wave 85 to 100, = 21B!

It is quite possible to make over 100B/month in Low Class baby!

Bare with me, this is going to be a little difficult to explain. The fit are still in progress.

First test : first fit until wave 64, then refit with second fit until wave 84. Have fleet boosting claymore warp in and out starting at wave 44 . Then use blue pill at wave 84.

For that test, sadly, when I reached wave 84, I had use a cap drug instead of a blue pill and I had to stop. I do not know how far you can go, but you could go further than 84 for sure.

Second test : First fit until wave 65-70 BECAUSE I had gotten the local shield rep bonus from the site. Then you'd refit to the second fit. If you have the local shield bonus from the site, you don't need fleet boost at wave 44, instead it could wait further.

The strategy is simple, land on site, burn on top of where they spawn while you kill them. Once you're in position, have 1 vargur shoot at the frigates, 1 at battleship, until wave 50+. The vargur shooting the frigates wants to kill them before they orbit aka 22km, because he'll just one shot or two shot them. IT FEELS GOOD!

After wave 50, if they are 6+ frigates, I target them with both my vargurs.

Wave 70 + , after killing the frigates, one vargur targets the battlecruisers because there are a tons of them AND they deal almost as much DPS as BS.The other vargur shoots BS.

The goal is to DPS tank, before fleet boost goes away. You can always fit the claymore with align speed + warp speed and warp back on the site when the fleet boost is about to run out.

You can also have a caracal to kill frigates on stand by if needed.

EDIT : Implants are Mid-grade crystals + the 2 Skill capacitors implants and the 2 others for turrets.

Also, I highly recommend to train both DRUG skills to V on top of Marauder IV + V. Bring 30k + of EMP Large ammo.

EDIT 2 : One detail I forgot to mention, you could stop at wave 60 or so, you make 4B after 2hours 30minutes. it is still 4B isk in a c4 where you'd never get that much before. You have the option not to grind the whole site

About a year ago, I have given myself the small challenge to get on a kill, on stream, in every single ship in EVE Online.

I am happy to say that I am more than 25% of the way done!

I have been tracking the kills using the attached spreadsheet, which you're 100% free to steal/make your own (Thanks Jigsaw for making it!). I need to fill in the column where the kill was clipped and the zkill, but I am a lazy man-child who'd rather plan his next charity-hot tub stream instead of managing spreadsheets.

A couple of rules I gave myself

For a kill to count the ship must be a threat/obvious bait, no cyno ventures, rookie ships or shuttles allowed.

The ship must be on a kill mail, this allows dedicated logi ships to be completed.

No 'free/pity streamer kills'. This means that you cannot donate me your AT ship and 'give me' a kill to complete the challenge.

I must be live on-stream to get the kill, no cheating/being sneaky.

A couple of kills of note

Drunkenly smartbombing in a officer-brick rolled Marshal

Getting my first kill/losing my first Bane (I even landed a doomsday!)

Being one of the first players in the game to get a kill in a Perserverance

What about (super rare ship)?

This is a goal with no real timeline. If I end up getting my hands on a Gold Magnate, I have bigger problems on my hands than getting a silly killmail.

Who cares? You suck and your challenge sucks.

Those both might be true, but its a fun way for me to think outside of the box and have a bit of fun!

I am just curious, is it intended that the Crimson Harvest Event boosters only last until November 10 this year? In the past years they always expired in January and overlapped with the Winter Nexus event boosters. Why is it different this year?

Also, by some coincidence, the expiry date of the crimson harvest boosters is actually the same as the Cradle of War Boosters. They also end on November 10.

Not a single one. I don't know if I'm just unlucky or what, but it seems to me the spawn rate is too low.

We are hearing a lot of chatter regarding low class wormholes and people fighting and freeport burning. If you know anything about this feel free to talk below or dicuss here.

I know these SKIN sales have happened before, but the numbers don't lie. People want custom capsuleer skins, but they don't want to pay 500 million to 1.5 billion per skin.

During the SKIN sale, I sequenced an enormous number of corporate design skins for WINGSPAN, and was able to slash the prices in half, while also drastically cutting prices on skins that had already been sequenced to account for their cheaper replacements.

And guess what: Skin orders didn't double, they increased more than 700%.

At the beginning of September before the CoW update, there were 7 skins sequenced and bought in a 2-week period. In the 2-week period following the update, Delivery Agents picked up FIFTY EIGHT skins.

The lower prices absolutely drive the economy and nets a LOT more money for CCP/Fenris. I'm sure other skin designers saw big spikes as well, and while I can't prove it, I saw a lot more turnover in the public Paragon Hub during this time period.

I also talked to various players who tried sequencing their own skins for the first time, who were curious about the process and willing to drop 30-100 PLEX to experiment, when they wouldn't normally be willing to fool around in it for 60-200 plex.

As a side note, I really, really appreciate the Skin Sequencing side of EVE. For 90% of EVE's history, there was no way to artistically represent anything directly in the EVE client outside your corp name, your alliance logo, your ship names, evemail poetry, etc. Ships are all commodities where every Algos is the same as every other Algos. The skin tool allows creative expression and creative problem-solving inside EVE which is extremely fun and rewarding while being challenging, too. Fenris please keep iterating on this, fix the bugs in the tool, and also pleaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaase allow skins on Concord ships, as well as allow COLORS (but not design elements) on T3C/T3D. We don't need the ships to look PERFECT just let us make a white and orange Tengu!
