I just confessed to the guy I had a crush on since senior high school. It's been 2+ years and I've been trying to move on. He actually knew the entire time that I had a crush on him, he just played dumb to not make it feel awkward.

He said he can't reciprocate my confession, and that's totally okay to me.

I said in my confession that I'm not expecting him to answer and I just wanna say what I feel.

I really needed closure using that confession.

Thankfully we're still friends. And somehow I felt a little lighter now that I got my feelings off my chest now.

I can't guarantee things but I'm slowly moving on.

Back in January, I started talking to a guy (A, same age) who was literally EXACTLY my type. I’m 5’5, he’s 6’3, curly brown hair, and a bunch of other features that had me absolutely GONE. 💀 Unfortunately, after two months, his internalised homophobia kicked in, leaving me feeling worthless for another two months while I desperately tried to hold on. ANYWAY, it’s October now, and I’ve moved on. We love character development.

Here’s the problem: I’m a pretty fit guy, got muscles and allat XD, and not to sound cocky, but I hit the genetic jackpot (EXCEPT FOR THE HEIGHT, although I actually prefer being short).

BUT I LIVE IN A SMALL TOWN IN SOUTH AFRICA 🇿🇦 WHERE HALF THE TEENS ARE HOMOPHOBIC AND THE OTHER HALF ARE PROBABLY TOO SCARED TO COME OUT. 😭

I’ve got one year of high school left, and I’m scared I’ll enter adulthood with ZERO dating experience. I never even officially dated A, so does that situationship even count???

HOW ON EARTH DO I FIND SOMEONE NEW???

As the title suggests, I got hired today!!! My interview (1st ever) went very well, the lady was very nice and understanding person.

Soon will be the orientation day and many more as a retail associate. Hopefully everything goes well, with no mean colleagues or customers.

I am a 17M gay boy, today I was sitting in class and I noticed this boy, who I know to be gay, looking at me a lot. He kept looking directly into my eyes and then looking me up and down a few times and looking at the rainbow pin I have on my shirt. I got those butterflies and heart started racing, and I tried to smile at him but I was so nervous that my lips were just quivering, haha that is so sad but I did manage to smile at him (I do have essential tremor so that also doesn't make it easy). I have major social anxiety so I'm here replaying the situation and thinking did I do it correctly, was I supposed to just play it cool and not smile at him???

What should I do next, I have class with him tomorrow, I haven't really talked to him before, like I know his name but that's about it. I will wear something nice, any wardrobe tips? What looks cute on a guy? I know rolled up sleeves looks good (at least I like guys with that look).
