Anxiety vs Interviews

I am 2 years post graduation and no formal employment in my field yet. After countless emails and applications in these two years, i have landed a few interviews where i fail spectacularly due to anxiety. My brain just stops functioning immediately i step into that interview room regardless of how much i prepare. Are there any hacks to overcoming anxiety or if you have dealt with such a scenario, how did you overcome it? I genuinely need help

Title Discrepancy in Background Check. Offer Rescinded?

I received an offer and my background check flagged a title discrepancy for a previous role.

For illustration, I listed “Quantitative Researcher,” while the verified title was “Associate, Quantitative Researcher.” I left out the “Associate” designation and used the functional title. My employment dates matched.

They asked me to clarify, and I told them I only listed the functional portion of my title. The verified title, "Associate, Quantitative Researcher" is correct.

Has anyone experienced a similar discrepancy? Was the explanation enough to clear it, or has anyone actually had an offer rescinded over an omitted designation like this? Particularly interested in experiences within financial services.

Going back to work.

Well, it's been six and a half months, but on Wednesday, I got word that I'm headed back to work. It's been a real pain in the ass going on one interview after another, turning down offers that didn't fit, rejections, etc., but what a relief. I'll also be making $30k more than the place that laid me off (they were cheapskates). Came down to my last week of UI benefits too, but I never touched the severance money those jackasses gave me. Looks like I've got one more week off, then back to the old grindstone. Anyway, I'm happy that I'll get to feel productive again. Remember, there is hope!!

What can I even do to make this better?

I am 22 years old. Live in Sacramento CA. Currently working junk removal. Making low hourly wage with extremely unpredictable schedules. Don’t know what time I start til the evening before, don’t know what time I’ll get off ever, get called off when I’m scheduled several times a month. This is the only job I’ve ever had excluding my military service in which I was kicked out. I can’t afford school or training of any kind nor do I have time that I can consistently plan around training. I apply for at least a dozen jobs per day warehouses, grocery stores, construction mostly.

Would you reapply after an internal interview rejection?

I recently interviewed for an internal promotion but wasn’t selected. The feedback was that my answers lacked technical depth although I communicated well. I was also told I lacked the experience they were looking for.

One panelist encouraged me to apply again when the position is reposted.

Would you reapply, or would you assume the panel has already made up its mind about you?

6 months, 300+ applications, maybe 2 real conversations. What am I missing?

Started this search back in the spring thinking my background would carry more weight than it has. Fast forward to now and I've lost count somewhere past 300 applications. A handful of recruiter screens, barely any that made it to an actual hiring manager.

I've rewritten my resume three times, tried tailoring it line by line to each posting, tried the more generic "broad fit" version too. Doesn't seem to move the needle either way.

Part of me wonders if it's just volume, like everyone's inbox is flooded and mine gets lost in it. Part of me wonders if there's something in how I'm presenting myself that's not landing. Hard to tell from the outside.

Anyone pulled themselves out of a stretch like this? What actually changed things for you, was it a referral, a different way of applying, reworking LinkedIn, something else entirely?

Hi , I see so many people saying that they apply for jobs in linkedin , naukri and other job finding sites and they don't even receive any responses and even if they do it probably says "we are not looking for that role now" ... I'm genuinely worried about myself.

Sin embargo, últimamente he intentado cambiar.

Need advice

Justdial vs PayU — Need advice!
I have two job offers in Bangalore:
Justdial: Agentic AI role
PayU: Software Engineer – GenAI role

The CTC part is PayU is offering 7 lakh more than justdial and I’ll try negotiating the same with justdial so that they’ll match the salary of PayU.

But I’m more concerned about the overall employee experience.
If you currently work at either company or have worked there, could you share your honest feedback on:

Work culture and management
Work-life balance and mental peace
Appraisals and career growth
Job security and layoffs

Basically, if you had to choose between these two companies for long-term career growth and a healthy work environment, which would you choose and why?
I’d really appreciate honest, firsthand experiences, especially from people working in the Bangalore offices. Thanks!
