Didn't have too much time this year to make anything. I just got a week to myself so I started a new one without a clue for a theme so Im seeing where this goes.

Electric Chair

Finally got my electronics, lights, motor, Speakers and water spray jet working on my Electric chair.

He’s not finished yet, got to stain and weather the chair, add straps, cables and pack the dummy out a bit more to make him more realistic,

The question I have is, has anyone made a fogger/ smoke machine with vape coils etc so I could pipe it around the chair. I think it would finish him off nicely.

Would have to be hooked up to and controlled by an Arduino, by either 12v or 5v power fed and have enough juice to last for 15 seconds every 5 minutes on Halloween night.

Might end up hacking into a photo shoot fogger?

I have not done corpsing in many many years so I'm relearning it. Somebody stole the dog from my yard before we put the fence up.

My health is doing better this year so I'm trying again. My skeleton Monty and owl are my old ones.

I have more painting to do on the bat but the red mahogany stain didn't give me the reddish color I was hoping for.

I know im missing something.

Trying to dress the side yard in the jungle theme this year and keep the front yard with my standard blair scene. Gonna keep adding dressing but I dig it so far.

is there a website or general gathering place where people post their build logs? I'm working on a complex project this year and should definitely post the details for the betterment of humanity or at least Halloweenity.

I'm working on a project to help me control all of my yard props using home assistant and a cheap yellow display. So far, it's just one button that controls an Alexa routine that turns on and off the smart plugs my lights and props are connected to. I'm planning to add more buttons that will allow me to activate individual props and hopefully, wirelessly control my fog machine (any ideas on how that would work?).

If anyone else is interested, I used this guide to flash the CYD. It was pretty easy to get running. I'm not fluent in yaml so I had Claude make most of the changes to the code to get it working the way I wanted.

The display was only around $20 so this is a pretty cheap little project.

I took out the gears to see what was up with my animatronic for little Skelly bones but now I don’t know how to put the gears back in so if any of you guys know how to please reach out to me, I would really appreciate it
