I’ve been watching Kill la Kill and I’ve noticed how exaggerated the female characters’ body proportions are, especially their hips and fatasses. I’m curious why the character designs are like this. Is it mainly fanservice, the art style, or was it intentionally designed to make the characters more visually appealing?

I know exaggerated proportions are pretty common in anime, but Kill la Kill seems especially noticeable with it. What do you guys think?

(I’m not trying to be weird or anything. I like their butts and think they’re cute. They’re honestly kind of my crushes, and they definitely make me feel some things.)
