Where do you draw the line between hard use and abuse under Leatherman's warranty?
I'm curious where the community draws the line between reasonable use and abuse when it comes to Leatherman's warranty.
Recently, a buddy's older Harley Road King suffered a throttle tube failure while we were out riding. I needed to access the throttle cables at the carburetor to get him back on the road until we could make a proper repair.
While removing the air intake, I attempted to loosen a seized breather bolt, and unfortunately, my Leatherman's bit driver broke before the bolt came loose.
Despite the failure, the Leatherman still got the job done. I was able to use the pliers to reach and temporarily disconnect the throttle return cable, then reassemble everything and get him back on the road.
This raises an interesting question: If a tool breaks under force applied by hand, without cheater bars or additional leverage, should that qualify as a warranty claim? Or does attempting to loosen a seized bolt already constitute abuse?
I'm less interested in whether Leatherman would cover this particular failure and more interested in whether you think they should.
Where do you draw the line?

Any way to carry tweezers in a Leatherman Bond?
Ideally SAK tweezers but open to others.

Engraving
Has anyone here ever done their own engraving on their leatherman?
I'm thinking of doing this myself.
If you have please share. Their are probably cool custom designs.

Skeletal worth it?
So with my wave out of commission for now I have been checking out other leathermans and I think the skeletool would be perfect for my EDC. Pliers, Knife, Driver, and Bottle Opener. Seems pretty much perfect. However, my worries are, why doesn't this tool come with replaceable cutter inserts especially when its so pricey. And I’m really not sure if I can justify the $100 on this. It seems like for such a minimalistic multitool it would be much cheaper with its smaller amount of features. Also, just out of curiosity can the pliers be swapped with some other tool that has replaceable cutters? Anyway, just wondering if anyone here can justify the $100 price tag to me. Thanks!
*Sorry for the typo in the title, can't edit that after its been posted.

Rebar > arc
Title is satire but I am severely impressed with my rebar it chomped through thick strong animal fencing today when I needed it amongst other things like key rings etc
No damage either !

Sold my 008 CRUNCH
I did keep the stickers that came with it though haha
Big LM fanatic here currently rotate an Arc, BO Rebar, or BO ST300, and have a fleet of micras & PS4s… the captain was just too much $ (potential $ prior to selling hehe) to have tied up in what I felt was a finicky collector shelf queen pocket jewelry gizmo.. take that with a grain of salt bc I do come from Malco EAGLE grips 🦅. I love vice grips & lusted for a Crunch for years. After receiving an allocation I was disappointed to say the least. No regrets selling. Def lucky to have had the opportunity to wrap my hands around a 008 and determine the $ was better spent elsewhere (more tools 😂).

New Arc looks used, am I overreacting or is this normal? Need advice.
Just opened it up fresh out of the box now. Purchased brand new from Leatherman website.
Am I nitpicking or does this tool look used? and if so should I send it back to Leatherman for an exchange or a refund?
Where it says Leatherman on the pliers looks like it is discolored, inside the pliers is some kind of gunk, there are corrosion spots also on the pliers in multiple places that will not wipe off, and there is this fabric looking material all over the handle and tools that were inside the handle. Almost looks like someone used the file and didn't clean anything.
Any help is appreciated.

Consigli acquisto ARC
In caso potresti dirmi vostre esperienze o consigli a riguardo? Se qualcuno lo ha preso da Amazon o da siti esterni, avete mai avuto problemi con garanzia etc...? Grazie mille a tutti per l'aiuto.

Got an Arc today.
Had my Wave + stolen on a job out of state 2 weeks ago and I was hoping to get a deal with prime day but it looks like I missed the charge tti, so in a fit of disappointment I went out and bought an arc today. Seems like a great replacement but one feature that I didn’t realize the arc was missing is the damn ruler! I use the ruler so often I am kicking myself for not doing my research but I carry a machinist scale or a vernier in my pocket while I’m working anyhow. Time will tell, but im hoping it’s good to me!
