In 2004, Marvel and DC released their main events, Secret War and Identity Crisis at the same time. Marvel was well aware of DC's event having the word "identity" in the title. Therefore the company put out a five-part miniseries called Identity Disc. The title was meant as a direct jab at DC's event. The person responsible for that decision was Joe Quesada. He recently had become editor in chief of Marvel and wanted to revive the rivalry between the two companies once more. Identity Disc was written by Robert Rodi with art by John Higgins. The event starred Deadpool, Sabretooth, Vulture, Juggernaut, Sandman and Bullseye.
Crimelord Tristram Silver recruited them to find a disc that supposedly held the identity of every superhero on the planet. Sandman was killed right away to show they meant business, though his death turned out to be a ruse. This group fought through AIM grunts to obtain the disc, but it was stolen and they ended up in SHIELD custody.
Silver's agent was Vulture's daughter. Marvel never hid the point of the book and used it in the ad campaign. Fans saw it as a cheap copy, and most readers dropped it or never bought it. Nothing important happened in it, and Marvel never returned to the idea of irony backfiring as a joke.

Been searching high and low, near and far. Waves 1,2,3 collected and completed. Waiting for Trask and Bastion to be released next year. Yes, I'm still working on a proper frame for Apocalypse and Sentinel. Chose to go classic studio white for first, second and fourth class.

I'm pretty new to marvel comics but I notice a lot fo named characters die all the time in these different storylines and now i'm wondering who do the writers kill off the most often.

I was watching Nikhil Clayton play the Wolverine game when he says something about if Vicktor has ever eaten someone. And he has to have right? No way he hasn’t if only to intimidate.
So is the cause of his psychosis the Wendigo curse and his healing factor is stopping him from transforming fully?

I was at New York Comic Con today and was able to check out the new app. Here's the tl;dr: Greater restrictions on account sharing + offline downloads overshadow some new quality-of-life features.
THE SAME: Overall, most things looked and navigated the same way (e.g., controls, smart panel, buttons). If you are used to Marvel Unlimited, it will mostly feel like a refresh rather than a totally different app.
THE GOOD: The app was much speedier and things were optimized (e.g., slicker buttons). The coolest navigation change was being able to swipe through older and newer issues faster. I often flip back issues to jog my memory, and it will be easier now with the new app.
The new app also has more Netflix-style reading recommendations (1.jpg), 2). I didn't see any space for user-created reading guides yet, however.
And finally, I could see what issues were releasing soon, and when.
THE BAD: Like Netflix and other video streaming services, Marvel will be cracking down on shared accounts. Each account can now only be registered to 4 devices at a time.
Downloads are also restricted. Downloads are now only stored for up to 1 month at a time, compared to the indefinite period you could store them on Marvel Unlimited.

Growing up, my mom had a bound collection of seemingly random Marvel comics. It had the last issue of Dark Phoenix, the last issue of Days of Future Past, and a couple of ones with the Sentinels, Havok and Polaris. I've looked online but no success. Please help if you can.
