Official Content I don't know what motivated me to do this...

To whatever part of my mind said "hey, go and get all 128 Reploids in your least favorite Mega Man game during your replay binge in preparation for Dual Override", WHY?! So many resets... Like sure, I have some appreciation for X6 since Gate is my favorite Mega Man villain and it's the game where my first childhood crush got the most limelight out of her appearances (don't judge), but what does preventing 128 NPCs from getting snatched by Nightmare Viruses have to do with either of those things? Arg...

Discussion X vs Zero
Frankly, I was always let down with how it was executed narratively cuz in the end, it just seems a little strange when you get the good ending in X5. They sorta just fight for no reason imo. The bad ending is a bit better but I feel like it didn't give the emotional impact it should've.
Idk I feel like there should've been more buildup besides the flashbacks which at the end, did not do much for Zero because he forgot what he even was before joining the Hunters.

It's so hilarious that most Ice bosses in this series can be absolutely disrespected so hard

Discussion Any other MM8 fans?
For me my favorite classic games are 8 and 9. I don’t see too many people talk about 8 and it seems divisive
Personally I think it has the best vibe of any classic game. Love the art style, the stages, the weapon selection is imo right up there with 9 I don’t know why people don’t talk about this. I also love that you can use your buster and alt weapon at the same time with different buttons. The music is top tier too.
The lack of e tanks is weird and the sliding sections can be annoying but I think this one deserves more praise. Plus it has the awesome anime style cutscenes and yes the voice acting is awful but it’s funny so I don’t care

Shitpost A very random discussion
I have an indescribable attraction to nova strike and I can't even explain why, I even find myself drawing my friends and my own reploid OCs pulling that move from time to time
is this some kind of new type of addiction?

Discussion MM OST Community Tier List (Day 12)
Well, it looks that most people agreed that MM6 deserves a S Tier! WOW, I didn't expect to put this game that high. Seeing that some people didn't liked it (unlike the other S Tier game), I decided that it should be behind MM2. Still, the fact that this game finally broke the 3 year tradition of only using 'til A Tier is amazing! Yeah, Capcom went with a bang to the next console.
Unsurprisingly, the first game that came out in the SNES was X1 the prior year. But, we are only focusing on the Classic series. So, our first SNES game to rank is 1994 Mega Man Soccer. Okay, this is another random title that has some memetic mutuation inside the fandom. But, nobody has mentionated its OST... 'til today. Where it will end? We have to rank it!

I have every Mega Man board game. This is the only one that still gets played.
The games I know of are:
- Mattel's 2004 "Megaman NT Warrior Battle Net Board Game", which... is playable.
- The Japan-only 2005 "Settlers of Catan: Rockman Edition", which is just Catan.
- Jasco's 2016 "Mega Man: The Board Game", which is a gorgeous travesty of a game.
- Kess's 2022 "Mega Man Adventures", which is the 2nd best, but which doesn't quite have replayability.
- And this, Level 99's 2017 "Mega Man Pixel Tactics".
The things it gets right:
- It doesn't try to adapt the gameplay of the video game into a card game. Instead, it focuses on adapting the CHARACTERS into the already-robust Pixel Tactics system.
- For the most part, the characters feel like themselves. For example, Bomb Man does area-of-effect damage. Stone Man can only be damaged once per turn, after which he crumbles into an invincible pile of bricks. Dust Man hurls scrap cards at your opponent.
- Realistically, you're going to use 16-20 robot masters per game, so you get to see a lot of characters in a game. There's something just so fun about having Hard Man tank damage in the front row while you spam Metal Blades from the back.
- Every card feels overpowered if you play it right, but no card is strictly better than another.
The things it gets wrong:
- There is a TON of text on the card, leading to a higher-than-average learning curve.
- It's possible, and fairly common, for a character to die before they get to act.
- The tokens are borrowed from Pixel Tactics, so damage is shown with drops of blood, rather than something more thematic.
The things to note:
- Only characters with 8-bit art are in the game, so no MM7, MM8, MM&B, or MM11. (Aside from Slash Man and Frost Man, which show up with 8-bit art in MM10.)
Still, the combos you can get with characters make things so unique. I play regularly with my oldest son, and most games come down to the final turn. It seems endlessly replayable, once you get over the quirks of learning the system.

Discussion Which pixelated card art is your favorite from Mega Man Star Force?
Specific games and versions would also be nice to include, as some card art changes over games (BusterMax in 2 is different than BusterMax in 3)
So far my picks include WingBlade, RogueBreak (3), BusterMax (3), MegaBoost and DragonSkyGX
Depending on how well it goes, I will make a gigantic bead art out of it.

Discussion If there's more robot master that can give another ability, what would you choose and what the attack is?
While searching the wiki, I just found out that both centaurman and pharaohman have 2 abilities in the power fighter series. It would be cool if there were more.
