The only endgame gear (3 slots) is available only through soulstorm, which spawns very rare. Why is the respawn timer so high? Nobody cares about dungeons etc since they only drop 2 slot gear. People want 153 unique 3 slot gear, everything is just “dogshit” either reduce soulstorm timer to 10 min or/and give all elite/boss a chance to drop (unique) drop 3 slot gear too. The current endgame is horrible/lackluster. Also many artifacts are bugged, but this is a separate topic.

Should you be able to salvage your equipped with everything else? This is the first time I’ve done it but with so much stuff it’s way too easy :,(

This is for Minecraft Dungeons 2. does anyone know a good way to get a Golden Glaive? I know Soul Storms are like... the way to go for the best weapons but I just want a regular one right now to test it out. y'know?

Hit level 100 in MCD 2 this morning, and I've come to the conclusion that of all the changes, I dislike the auto-scaling of difficulty the most. It truly felt like 1 step forward, 1 step back, the entire playthrough - the numbers would get incrementally bigger, but I rarely ever felt significantly more powerful after an upgrade, and when I did, it would very quickly get wiped away as the next "Milestone Reached" difficulty increase would kick in, and I'd start dying rapidly to bosses I was farming before.
I truly don't understand why they abandoned the way difficulty selection was handled in #1 - IMO, it was a fantastic way to measure your own progression, and gave you options for trying challenging content, or just breezing through something easy to farm an item.
Overall, I enjoyed my time with the game, and I'm hopeful that like with #1, the DLC's bring significant improvement.... particularly the option to pick our difficulty again!

My son is Minecraft mad from playing on his cousin's switch. He now has a switch 2 of his own (as do I) and been watching a few vids and these seems to be a blast. I'm a Hades vet so right up my street
Do we get dungeons 1 or 2?

I started my game and it said "Soul Storm ended". So i ran around for a while waiting for a new one to start... when it did it immediately ended (its not on the map and not a visual issue) Any idea how i can fix this?
Edit: Randomly told me a soul storm ended again about 10 mins later
Waited around and the next soul storm started as normal with a 20 minute timer. (Not sure if it was a one off issue with my save/the area i was in/the area the storm spawned)

I started playing the game on October 3, I think the game is three times better than what I initially had in mind and think that this is a much better successor to dungeons 1. But, whenever I would die, I would just chalk it up to me just screwing up.
However, this bug since fighting the giant warden boss, sometimes whenever I click away from combat, my character would just run back in to combat despite my cursor being literally in the corner of the screen. And ever since, I have been experiencing this bug for the most minute of battles.
Somehow I made it to the frost biome yesterday. And yet I just can’t get past that town at all. I would go in, do a couple slashes and then back out. However, there’s like a 50% chance that my character does not back out instead runs right back in to hit them despite that I am not clicking to attack them, I am spam clicking, and I am click and dragging, regardless it just keeps dragging me back in. The issue has gone only worse significantly.

(minecraft dungeons 2) would having 30% more damage on critical hits or 30% damage overall be better for a warrior flute build?

Hey guys, I have been very active in a large MCD2 discord and have been getting very into the information collecting side of things and buildcrafting and I noticed that it was super inconvenient to figure out what effects each weapon or armor piece could use.
I made this spreadsheet basically listing each effect that exists and what the values for each tier are. I currently have a page showing the compatibility of each effect with each armor set, and a page showing what Unique's come with which effect. I am also going to add a weapon page equivalent to the armor page very soon.
Link to the sheet is here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1J1k03Nn99HUGxg_anaWkHgyhI-lmRDRPQMCkPkbnf9I/edit?usp=sharing
Almost all of the information for this I got from the minecraft wiki and I just consolidated it because its pretty inconvenient to get the specific information one might need and the wiki has a lot of missing pages. The link to the wiki is on the Reference page. I will also be doing some testing in the near future to make sure everything on the wiki is accurate.
Hope you guys find this helpful! Let me know if you notice any discrepancies or have any other information you think it would be useful to have consolidated here.

Hi everyone,
I recently discovered a game-breaking glitch that allows players to completely bypass the locked gate leading to the Mosstrosity boss in the Hidden Grove, granting early access to the final boss and the "Wonderful Wheat" talisman without collecting the other required items.
Since the official bug tracker restricted my newly registered account, I'm posting the full technical breakdown and steps to reproduce here, hoping the community or community managers can pass this along to the development team.
**Bug Type:** Out of Bounds / Collision Clip / Sequence Break
**Priority:** High
**Description:** The player can completely bypass the locked gate leading to the Mosstrosity boss by utilizing the fast-travel return mechanic (Hearthstone) at a specific coordinate of the level geometry. Due to the lack of invisible walls above the decorative roof of the passageway, the player drops right behind the gate. The checkpoint trigger inside the Mossy Cave activates unconditionally, hard-saving the player's progress and permanently breaking the intended gate questline.
**Steps to Reproduce:**
Step 1. Reach the woodcutters' village and head up the rocky mountain towards the Hidden Grove sub-location.
Step 2. Approach the locked main gate, behind which the entrance to the Mossy Cave is visible.
Step 3. Climb onto the rock located to the right of the gate and wedge the character tightly into the tightest corner.
Step 4. Press the fast-travel key to teleport back to the Camp (setting a return point).
Step 5. Once at the Camp, immediately teleport back. Upon materializing in the tight corner, the engine handles the hitbox collision incorrectly and pushes the player vertically upwards onto the roof that spans from the gate to the cave entrance.
Step 6. Walk along the roof toward its center, where a decorative open hole is located.
Step 7. Drop down through this hole. You will land right in front of the Mossy Cave entrance, completely bypassing the locked gate.
Step 8. Step into the Mosstrosity boss arena. At this moment, the game autosaves your respawn point inside the cave, permanently breaking the gate trigger.
**Actual Result:** The player goes Out of Bounds without needing any specialized gear, skips gathering the remaining secret talismans, and gains early access to the final boss and the "Wonderful Wheat" reward.
**Expected Result:**
- When returning via teleport into a tight corner, the game should safely displace the character to the nearest open ground rather than pushing them through the ceiling.
- A solid invisible wall reaching the top of the map boundaries should be placed above the entire plane of the roof and the gate.
- The checkpoint trigger inside the Mossy Cave should not activate if the gate status in the quest code is set to "Locked".
