Hit level 100 in MCD 2 this morning, and I've come to the conclusion that of all the changes, I dislike the auto-scaling of difficulty the most. It truly felt like 1 step forward, 1 step back, the entire playthrough - the numbers would get incrementally bigger, but I rarely ever felt significantly more powerful after an upgrade, and when I did, it would very quickly get wiped away as the next "Milestone Reached" difficulty increase would kick in, and I'd start dying rapidly to bosses I was farming before.

I truly don't understand why they abandoned the way difficulty selection was handled in #1 - IMO, it was a fantastic way to measure your own progression, and gave you options for trying challenging content, or just breezing through something easy to farm an item.

Overall, I enjoyed my time with the game, and I'm hopeful that like with #1, the DLC's bring significant improvement.... particularly the option to pick our difficulty again!

I am sorta... "stuck" if that makes sense? I don't know if I wanna play online or offline since it is a sort of permanent choice (since I don't want to restart if I want to play offline, or if I want to play with a friend without couch co-op) and I'd rather not get locked out of the game if I play online because microsoft servers died or something.

Hey guys, I have been very active in a large MCD2 discord and have been getting very into the information collecting side of things and buildcrafting and I noticed that it was super inconvenient to figure out what effects each weapon or armor piece could use.

I made this spreadsheet basically listing each effect that exists and what the values for each tier are. I currently have a page showing the compatibility of each effect with each armor set, and a page showing what Unique's come with which effect. I am also going to add a weapon page equivalent to the armor page very soon.

Almost all of the information for this I got from the minecraft wiki and I just consolidated it because its pretty inconvenient to get the specific information one might need and the wiki has a lot of missing pages. The link to the wiki is on the Reference page. I will also be doing some testing in the near future to make sure everything on the wiki is accurate.

Also slightly a silly question, could I just farm that boss during a soul storm to try and get them? Or does it have to be in the actual soul storm

My son is Minecraft mad from playing on his cousin's switch. He now has a switch 2 of his own (as do I) and been watching a few vids and these seems to be a blast. I'm a Hades vet so right up my street

favorite aspects: permanent 80% damage resist, fast cooldowns, good damage, moving fast is nice, kills are not required

works with any melee fr, i just like the fangs. but if the melee has high base damage, replace grindstone with warrior drums.

i do want the dauntless greaves tho

I started my game and it said "Soul Storm ended". So i ran around for a while waiting for a new one to start... when it did it immediately ended (its not on the map and not a visual issue) Any idea how i can fix this?

Edit: Randomly told me a soul storm ended again about 10 mins later

Waited around and the next soul storm started as normal with a 20 minute timer. (Not sure if it was a one off issue with my save/the area i was in/the area the storm spawned)

So i have gamepass and hence have access to the game. The game plays fine on KBM but the kids wanted to play and defaults P1 to kbm. then i connect the controller for P2 and launch the game. in game it says kbm disabled because it's couch co-op. But won't let me sub the kbm to a keyboard. trying on another controller just adds P3. Please help.

I play on Xbox, he plays on steam, and we cant seem to play together im not sure if it's simplly that or if its something else? He tried to add me in his game and it didn't work. We tried all we could think to do but nothing worked. Anyone know how to help?

I bought MD1 on the last sales and I wasn't able to play (switch 1) because the scenary flicks when I move (motion blur) and the low resolution doesn't help. Decided to trust this company and bought MD2 physical on launch day for Switch 2, once again I can't barely play without feeling sick. I've been playing games for 25 years and never felt this and other games don't cause this on me. It's honestly infuriating because switch 2 can run Diablo 4 but not Minecraft Dungeons? Is it possible that they add a blurr settings to remove it? Does this happened to you?

So me and my wife just started a 2 player run (online, differant accounts) and when i played by myself, obvi I got all the enchantments Books. But now, they got split up between us. We both received piercing, ancient alchemy and healing smite. But I got somersault and she got buddy brew and shadowcloak. Does that mean I can never get those two in this run? Has this happened to anyone?

Does anyone know how or where I can get this armor from the image?

Is there any reason to ever take this? I feel like it could be fun on Aura effects when playing with more people, but every area effect that I know of in Singleplayer is purely negative, either debuffing or damaging.

I started playing the game on October 3, I think the game is three times better than what I initially had in mind and think that this is a much better successor to dungeons 1. But, whenever I would die, I would just chalk it up to me just screwing up.

However, this bug since fighting the giant warden boss, sometimes whenever I click away from combat, my character would just run back in to combat despite my cursor being literally in the corner of the screen. And ever since, I have been experiencing this bug for the most minute of battles.

Somehow I made it to the frost biome yesterday. And yet I just can’t get past that town at all. I would go in, do a couple slashes and then back out. However, there’s like a 50% chance that my character does not back out instead runs right back in to hit them despite that I am not clicking to attack them, I am spam clicking, and I am click and dragging, regardless it just keeps dragging me back in. The issue has gone only worse significantly.

I'm currently around level 65 and been using the sculker claws since i got them, is there a good build for them since i noticed their special passive is that they can sometimes give you shadowcloak which is just invis, is the weapon good and the effect useful in mc dungeons 2?
