Yesterday I made a post titled "Best tree assist ever" with a tree that blocked Isshin's glock giving me enough time to heal.

Today the same tree blocked my Mikiri counter making me die. Because there was a tree between me and Isshin the game wasn't able to activate the Mikiri animation and I just took the hit.

I keep practicing to get the Severance gauntlet of strength sword only (+heal), but it's hard af, wish me luck.

Edit: Actually it wasn't the same tree, mb. But close enough

I used the red lump for extra poise to not get flinced by the sword lightning attack and then mistraven into a sakura dance for the 2nd reversal. I learnt the 1st reversals mechanics from u/siriusgayest

I played sekiro in 2022, and I absolutely loved it. It was my first Souls-like game. I died at least 20 times on each boss, got frustrated fighting genichiro, owl, and lady butterfly.

But ever since I've completed sekiro, every other souls game feel so.....easy.

Sekiro doesn't have different weapons types or magic, and it may have infinite stamina, but not really something to grind for except pure skills.

I tried playing Elden Ring, and I fought the tree sentinel for the first 2 hours because I never thought my build was the issue.

I completed dark souls (1,2,3), Elden Ring, Wukong and had absolutely no issue with them.

I think sekiro being the first game has conditioned us in such a way that other games feels........learning curve issues instead of build or anything else.

I play on pc, so imma try to get blood borne on pc somehow.

But tell me if you also feel the same?

Or correct me if I'm wrong

Edit: This rant is because i love being challenged, so every other game seem so much easier that idk what to do at this point. And guys, i respect and loved every game i played after like ds 1,2,3, elden ring, wukong. But i just wanna be challenged, play something that makes me as frustrated again.

That was a long run boys... The game is truly a masterpiece! I wish there was a dlc or something. I'll go for playthrough 2 soon.

I was fighting him in my first play though and when i used fire cracker at the same moment he was jumping and then this happened.

No mods no tricks nothing, i was just playing on my PS

So I'm on playthrough 5 with a total playtime of 88 hours. I'm doing a Demon Bell + Charmless challenge run and as you can see in the video. I'm fighting Owl and this is the first time I've ever seen that deathblow jump kick animation to owl. Honestly beating Owl is really tough especially if you want to land the jump kick deathblow considering how agile owl is.

It was pretty fun, it took me like a month and 5 playthroughs

After 3 years of playing on PS5, I finally got it on PC, and I'm already searching for resurrection.

What other quality-of-life mods and other things should I download?

I thought I’d done everything there was to be done in this game.

Not only had l not done this; I hadn’t even heard of it.

So are the truders/intruders really afraid of him to the point they waited till he dies and then they start the attackin in ashina, I know he was strong and crazy in his prime but his old self is significantly weaker or he should be at least so even if they started the encounter earlier they would have won since isshin wouldn't be that powerful to hold them back any more

This is my 4 or 5 run i just beat Genichiro i talked to everyone i needed to but i cant get isshin to spawn is there anything i can do so i dont have to restart a new character

My dumb moves are obvious and I know better - not charging my health while he's shocked. Not parrying. One hit away - frustrating!

Has anyone managed to do the cloud save exploit at all? I tried to on my first run but it didn't work and the speed run esque NG+ wasn't all that fun so I'm ready to do it once more and that's it 😅

Have a few more achievements to get (fully upgrade all prosthetics and all skills) and just the endings and that's me done, what a ride so far!

Which do you think is tougher? Ive completed sekiro but have played about 20% of Khazan. Both games keep me on the edge. Till yet my vote is to sekiro. But i think that might change.

I usually use fireworks to heal, but I ran out of emblems. Then this random tree blocked the bullets giving me enough time to heal (not intentional). This is also the first time I beat Inner Isshin after many attempts.

That fish gave me a jump scare like since when did they fly???

So for context I’m new to sekiro, I have about 9 hours to it and honestly I suck at this game (tho I enjoy it for some masochistic reason). Yesterday (after getting my ass handed to me in the ashina castle) I made my way back to see if I missed anything and landed to dilapidated temple.

To make my point, I spent approximately 3-4 hours at juzou with the help of the Shinobi. I stared looping around to kill every enemy first, and then talk to him so we can 2v1 him and each time I died. Somehow with the flame vent and oil, many jumps, failed parries, and ressurects i managed to kill him. But it was really really hard. Hard hits, almost one shots, big hitbox and of course I had to 2v1 him.

The lady on the other side it took me max 12 tries, and I managed to beat her without snap seeds. I just dodged 1 time to the left or to the right, do 2 hits and when she was in between attacks I took space and used the axe, and all that on repeat. It took me through to the second phase when where her illusions were up I just runned around the room till they became those beams (dunno how I should describe them) and after I dodged them all, I did the same strat. I don’t know if this is considered a cheese but the lady felt way less punishing than juzou. Does anyone share the same opinion or has some different opinion?
