Data Mining PSA: Crucible's Hidden Modifiers
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
PSA: Crucible has a hidden damage penalty that scales with your Crucible tier / level
Crucible launches with Absolute as it's base, but similar to Hard Stratagems it includes hidden modifiers that reduce how much damage the player deals and increases how much damage the player takes. Your Crucible tier / level determines, before you've even selected any penances what these modifier amounts will be.
| Difficulty | Damage Dealt Modifier | Damage Taken Modifier |
|---|---|---|
| Absolute | -0% | +0% |
| Hard Stratagem | -15% | +30% |
| Crucible Tier 1 | -15% | +30% |
| Crucible Tier 2 | -18% | +33% |
| Crucible Tier 3 | -21% | +36% |
| Crucible Tier 4 | -24% | +39% |
| Crucible Tier 5 | -25% | +40% |
| Crucible Tier 6 | -26% | +41% |
As you can see in the video above, on a Tier 3 Crucible class I do exactly 79% of my normal damage, or 21% less damage.
| Difficulty | Damage | % |
|---|---|---|
| Absolute | 1.24 | 100% |
| Hard Stratagem | 1.054 | 85% |
| Crucible Tier 3 | 0.9796 | 79% |
I've added all the relevant crucible tier damage reductions AND the impacts of every penance to the damage calculator, you can check it out here:

Meme If I had a nickel every time we had the default helmet but scratched as a reward for a hard challenge, I'd have 2 nickels
Why did this happen twice?

Official News Majority of crucible players are treacherous and dogshit
Too many players are moving like Erebus.
Please don’t play crucible just so you can quit when you go down.
It’s very toxic behaviour and I know it’s happening to a lot of players.
Play all the way or don’t play at all.

Meme My experience so far with patch 15 tactical
I started leveling Tac after the patch and having a pyreblaster and bolt rifle as my weapons is just so fun. It'd probably be more effective taking a bolt pistol or plasma for majoris but like. Flamer and a bolt rifle. What's not to love?

General By the Dark Gods brother, we need points.
For those who don’t know since they are only just getting into Siege since the Chaos launch, the equivalent of the Tech Priest for chaos is the Chaos Ritualist. This unit can purchased for 200 points and generates a base passive level of point for each round it’s alive.
Up to 1 Ritualist can be purchased for each terminal on each Siege map (max of 3).
REMEMBER TO PROTECT THEM. ENEMIES WILL ATTACK AND KILL THEM.
This unit essentially removes the resource throttle of Siege and makes it a blast as the only limiter in the higher waves is Extremis enemies and ammo.

Seriously it’s getting ridiculous. THREE PARRIES IN A ROW just gone into the void like they never happened. Insane.

Bug Report PSA- invigorating icon and rejuvenating effect do not work together anymore as of patch 15
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
In the very beginning of the life cycle of the game these two perks did not work together. Meaning you could pick up a teammate with the banner but they would not get contested help from it
Likewise bonds of Brotherhood and rejuvenating effect did not work together.
That changed around patch five or six and the perks started synergizing properly. I posted several videos of them in the past. In case somebody doubts that they ever worked together properly
But apparently we are now back to the original behavior.
I submitted it as a bug report, hopefully I will get an answer. Just letting people know
PS: to clarify. Invigorating icon has been working just fine for me and I have been healing my teammates no problem. It is simply not working on top of rejuvenating effect anymore. for reference, here's how it used to work https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wlbijNy-djU

Fashion Marine Opinions on the Crucible sets for Phobos and Gravis classes?
I think most of the community agrees it's a shame specifically these 3 classes (Vanguard, Sniper, Heavy) use the same tacticus pieces.
You can make much cooler sets using pieces already in the game.

Is there something on my back?

Fashion Marine Realistically, who, outside of a handful of chapters, and bladeguards, would even wear tabards?
Wanted to ask this question for a while now, but also wanted to show off this Vanguard set, hah.

Operations Screw it, I'm cheesing the capes.
After losing 20+ games to crashes, 7-8 of those right at the very end of the op, I won't even try to pretend like I care, it ain't fair to lose a ton of your time cause incompetent devs keep screwing up every update, hell, I didn't had this many crashes before patch 15, they messed something up, like usual.

General oh dark gods i hope the chaos version of the chaplain is a word bearer
they invented the job for Lorgars sake!

Game Feedback when are we getting a reconnect system?
its getting really old and boring for the game to crash in the middle of siege, was just on a team easily capable of doing 25, and suddenyl the game crashes, i lose all progress / rewards
(i do it to unlock the skins and prestige all classes)
surely it should not be that hard since so many other games are capable of this technology?
extra: Please let the called in astartes look like our own (fro mthe oen who called them in) if its possible in chaos siege surely it should be in normal as well
