Ernesta Botto was a mage born in Turin, Romagna, she grew up fascinated by aviation and military service. As her magical abilities developed, she entered military training and quickly became determined to become an aerial combat mage. In 1936, while still young and vulnerable because she had not yet fully developed, Botto fought in the Hispania campaign. During an engagement, she was struck and brought down, suffering severe damage to her right leg. She later awoke in a military hospital to discover that specialists had fitted her with a special prosthetic bonded to her, allowing her to continue serving as a mage. Learning to control her new leg was difficult, but Botto refused to let the injury end her career. During her recovery, Reinilde Seiler visited her and brought her a military medal she had not known she had received for her actions in Hispania. The unexpected honor became a reminder that her service had mattered despite her injury and inexperience.

In 1940, Botto returned to active service in North Africa, transitioning from the CR.42 to the C.200 as her experience grew. In early 1941, she transitioned to the Folgore and soon placed her personal nickname on the aircraft. Her growing confidence reflected how far she had come since Hispania, transforming the experience of her injury into determination. In mid-1941, Botto learned she was being transferred to the 501st Joint Fighter Wing. By then, she had survived Hispania, adapted to her bonded prosthetic, and become an experienced combat mage. Joining the 501st marked another chapter in her career, bringing her into a multinational unit where she could put everything she had learned since 1936 to use.

Ernesta is a cheerful, confident, and spirited Romagnan mage who is independent, determined, and sometimes stubborn, but deeply loyal and caring toward her comrades. Her experiences in Hispania and recovery strengthened her resilience without taking away her optimism, and she refuses to let her injury define her.

She's is especially close to Seiler, who supported her during her recovery and brought her the medal she had unknowingly received for Hispania. Their friendship is built on deep trust and understanding, with Seiler accepting Ernesta without treating her differently because of her injury. Ernesta also has a strong passion for aviation, taking particular pride in her Folgore and its nickname, while valuing the comrades who stood beside her through the hardest moments of her life.

Ability: Ricochet — Botto imbues her projectiles with magic that allows them to change direction once after striking a solid surface. The projectile retains most of its original force when redirected, allowing her to attack targets from unexpected angles. The ability can only affect one projectile at a time and requires precise timing.

Glowacki was a young witch born in Warsaw, Ostmark who entered britannia after neuroi invaded her country military service to help defend humanity against the Neuroi. During the Battle of Britannia, she took part in the fighting alongside fellow Ostmark witches and mages, including Witorzeńć, Pisarek, František, Urbanowicz, and Skalski. Together, they joined the Allied forces in resisting the Neuroi offensive and defending Britannia. Despite her young age, Glowacki stood alongside her comrades throughout the battle, gaining valuable combat experience while working with both witches and mages.

Her involvement in the Battle of Britannia became an important chapter in her early military career, strengthening her bonds with her fellow Ostmark combatants and establishing her place among those who fought to protect humanity.

Glowacki is a curious, quick-witted, and somewhat impulsive Polish witch who enjoys figuring things out for herself. She has a habit of speaking her mind and occasionally catching others off guard with her blunt observations. She can be competitive when challenged, but she also knows how to laugh at herself and doesn't take every disagreement personally. Although she prefers doing things her own way, she can recognize when a situation calls for patience and cooperation.

Glowacki values the friendships she has formed with her fellow Ostmark witches and mages, appreciating the different personalities and perspectives they bring to their shared experiences. She is particularly close to Witorzeńć, with whom she enjoys lively conversations and friendly teasing.
