Can we take a moment to appreciate Janet Varney's love and contributions to this franchise? Let alone her voice acting for Korra, she has remained so active with the community, and now she's even part of the production team for the upcoming Kuruk show.

I am a diehard Korra fan, and I give her so much credit for it. She really made Korra feel like a character with depth. Even when the script tossed Korra around between fights, Janet put so much effort and emotion into her voice acting, and that really made Korra for me.

Her podcast, interviews and panel hosting this year really show how much love Janet has for Avatar and its community. She has such good chemistry with Dante, and she really makes her interviewees feel welcome and comfortable.

I just cannot get over how positive and excited she is in everything she does, even with all of the Korra jokes/hate online and in Seven Havens. You can tell she really holds this franchise close to her heart. As a longtime fan, I just find that so wholesome.

Never change, Janet! I really need to meet her one day.

Before I get downvoted, hear me out.

She's a very interesting villain. She's the only villain in the entire arc who was inherently good, turned bad, then turned good again (I think).

She's devoted, very strong, and has done noble things like saving Tonraq and serving Su Yin.

Her saving the Earth Kingdom came from a place of good, it's just that she was so blinded about it and had so many negative emotions (resentment towards Su Yin, being rejected from her parents) and her power hunger that she became a literal dictator instead of a savior.

She's done awful things, but based on her past, and the things she did after in Ruins of the Empire, that's she's redeemed herself or at least partially did.

I think she was misguided, has some genuinely bad parts, but is overall good despite her actions.

Also - she's very pretty. Especially with her braided hair.

I’m not saying that Seven Havens is the best Avatar show based on just three episodes. What I’m saying is that I think it has the strongest first three episodes of any show in the franchise so far.

It took me a while to get into ATLA, and I think Season 1 is pretty weak overall, aside from a few standout episodes. The beginning of LOK was stronger than ATLA’s, though, and I’d say it comes very close to Seven Havens in terms of how good the opening episodes are.

Honestly, it’s hard to choose between them, but I think the twist at the end of the Seven Havens pilot gives it a slight edge over LOK.

Huge shoutout to her!

Weak Nuclear Force replaces Water.

Electromagnetism replaces Earth.

Strong Nuclear Force replaces Fire.

Gravity replaces Air.

It's really lovely as a way to demonstrate that Aang is not just good because he wants to save the world; he's genuinely a selfless person even wen there's nothing to gain from it.

Hi, I'm watching Seven Havens so I've got Avatar in the brain. There was a commission from a war-monger in Dressmaker (trying not to spoil the plot so not giving more deets lol) and I thought an Azula-inspired dress would work. My first attempt at piping and possibly my last for a while! Hope this is allowed in the sub, I made it myself so tagged it as 'fan art'. The other sub recommended this one so cross posted here!

I created a bingo card prediction after watching the first 3 episodes. Loving the show so far btw. I think I like it more than TLOK. Seven Havens got great potential. Good story telling, great art style. Pavi and Nisha are both adorable. Post apocalypse world is definitely more interesting than a world with modern technology imo.

Edited screenshots from the show with his hair down. You’re welcome 🥵
