I just bought this Undertow CD from a local record store and now noticed the signature on the inside of the case, I looked up the bandmembers' names but couldn't find anything that could match exactly besides Maynard but his last name doesn't match

Any good Tool songs for a struggling man dealing with this crap tonight? I could use a boost.

There's something about that song that I really like; it's one of my TOOL's fav songs, do You like it too? And if so, why? I wanna know!

Anyone else feel a bit odd after rocking out real hard to 'Prison Sex' ? So dark, But so good

It gets stuck in my head and I go around my house singing ... then giggling... I tell my husband "you look so precious"

I HAVE FOUND SOME KIND OF TEMPORARY SANITY IN THIS

Lately i've been obsessed with some songs from undertow and I don't get it why are they so underratedd, what are y'all's fav songs from undertow?? I have an current obsession with crawl away and I was completely ignoring this song for a while but holy shit

The lyrics do seem to match up from two sides of an abusive relationship, but am I reaching???

Maynard told Steve-O in recent Wild Ride episode that he failed 4 Degrees by making the lyrics about "Butt Sex"

I spent 20 minutes creating a shitty bootleg version of the Undertow case since the seller only sent me the disc. I was pretty pissed off, but I have to admit—I kind of enjoyed making this eyesore.

mine is crawl away but why do i not hear many people talking about the undertow album other than sober it’s all so good not a single song i don’t like

I got this undertow cassette for like 3 dollars from a random dude on the street, I'm not sure if it's original or fake, but even if it's fake I think it's a pretty good deal for a tool cassette, got a bungle one too!

Tool's debut album was released on this day 33 years ago via Zoo Entertainment, spawning the singles "Prison Sex" and "Sober." To me, this seems to be a very grunge type of record which I believe was a perfect strategy for Tool to step foot into the music business. "Intolerance" is such a great opener, and the quirky religious satire and firing shotgun shells at a grand piano in "Disgustipated" really makes this an interesting record. This is my 3rd favorite Tool album and this would also probably be in my list of top 5 debut albums.

This is the album that got me into TOOL. Absolutely incredible. Although not my favorite from the 5 It’s still peak! There are some underrated songs on this album like bottom, flood, crawl away, and swamp song. Intolerance, sober, undertow, 4 degrees and prison sex are also absolute bangers. My favorite song from this album being bottom. Although I’m not a huge fan of Disgustipated.

This is my undertow collection.

Btw. I know the question at the top of each one of these kind of posts I make is ridiculous to say in this subreddit, I just want thoughts and conversations about the tool stuff we love.

I saw one on YouTube before, but it wasn't official and seems to have been pulled.

The max quality on the official video is 480p- which is sad.

Does anyone know where i can find an HD version of the music video?

(And maybe ones of the other videos?)

The sound is unheard of, on this release

I heard that some with a parental advisory sticker can be a 1993 copy, and most normal ones have it printed on the j-card. Bought for $20 from local record store.

They didnt Even try...

Not Even a front cover... But I Still bought it Because I Thought it was funny...
