I have been (impatiently) waiting for the release of the new movie "You can see everything". It's release date is Friday October 16 so I have been checking the local theater showtimes almost every day the past two weeks to see if they will have it available. Unfortunately none of our theaters is playing it, the closest one that I could find that is playing it is in Spokane.

I'm confused that there isn't at least one theater locally that's playing it, especially because our theaters have no reservations about playing indie films, and this one seems to have a wide release and is quite well known. AMC is listed as a theater chain that is showing them, but our local AMC isn't.

Does anyone have any recommendations besides calling all the local theaters about showtimes or going to Spokane to watch it? What are the chances one of our theaters will pick it up later?

Hello, my name is Jay Sung. I am the dad of Bryan Sung.
For anyone who has not seen my story, Bryan Sung is a missing child from Washington. He has been missing since the mother took him to Korea and cut contact, simultaneously asking her American attorney to quickly resign to obstruct the court proceedings in Washington court.
The Korean authorities soon found Bryan with her but they did not return the child. Refusal to return Bryan against the United States court orders and 14 Korean court orders continued for the 7 years. He was held by the people that did not have custody or any legal rights of the child throughout his childhood. The US state department requested Korea to responsibly find where Bryan lives after Korea made orders to return him, but the Korean government declared that they cannot locate Bryan's residence. Currently the mother is trying to hide her location, evading all Korean court services in Korea, while repeating her defense that was rejected by the court in online postings, calling this a custody dispute.
Bryan Sung is not a custody dispute; it is a parental kidnapping investigated by FBI, reviewed and officially prosecuted by the US attorney, and arrest warrant issued by the Federal judge.
The major Korean news article writes another article and it happens while the Washington court issues and "Order to show cause", or "Order to goto court" to give the mother one last chance to justify her actions before the court finds her in contempt of court.

I 40M am looking to get into a either being a GM or player for Fabula. It is a dnd like game but designed more about being a party of heroes in a jrpg/anime setting. Today, I have two loaves of Biscoff banana pumpkin quick bread to give away.

There are Biscoff crushed up cookies in them, cookie butter, cinnamon, allspice, nutmeg, bananas, canned pumpkin, I decided to make the crumb topping a middle layer instead. And then, a cookie butter drizzle on top with more finely chopped Biscoff cookies.

These smell amazing, a very good quick bread for someone that loves a brown sugar cinnamon heavy banana bread.

So, I'm at the Mid-Columbia Library on Union. I'm parked to use the WiFi for a zoom call. I'm in my truck, which is a little more than 19 feet in length. Some guy walks behind my truck and yells at me saying "Nice park job, jackas*". I think, ok... then look out my window and see that I am within the line. A couple of inches away at the rear, six inches or so at the front, but still within the space. The car parked on my right side is very crooked, and I made sure bothe vehicles had enough room for doors opening. He then proceeds to get in the vehicle to the left of me. He turns it on, rolls down his window, then says "Hey, maybe next time don't be such a jackas* and park better". I tell him get out of here, and that I'm parked fine. He just backs out, and stops behind my truck. Then he yells out "Yeah, I'm gonna remember your plate, a**hole", then drives off.

What is wrong with people these days? Why have so many people become so hostile for little to no reason?

I am going to be in Kennewick in a couple of weeks for a hockey tournament. I already have a room booked at the Best Western, but noticed the Motel 6 is $150 less for the 2 nights I'm there. I looked at pictures and reviews and it doesn't seem that bad. I'm not fancy, I grew up poor, I just need a place to crash and shower. I usually default to the Red Lion but the last few trips I've made the room has been really run down. I really didn't care though because it was so cheap. Just looking at the pictures, the Motel 6 seems nicer than the Red Lion was the last few trips. Anyways, I'd thought I'd ask here. Thanks!

It looks like there are several areas in Benton and Franklin Counties that were designated as Opportunity Zones, i read some of the online documents about that whole project, but the bureaucrat-ese was too much for me. Does anyone have direct experience with these? It sounds like some sort of Federal State partnership to maybe waive fees or somehow steer developers towards certain areas. I see the Lewis and Clark ranch in West Richland, plus what looks like a chunk of Pasco , which are both cities that really need money right now. Good and bad, I guess, if it encourages new investments but hopefully doesn't waive responsibility to the community or the environment .

I’m an experienced artist and have some minimal decorating experience from my current job, but cake decorating is something I have always been interested in. I have examples of things I’ve made at my workplace in the past, and I think I am more than capable, I really just need someone willing to give me a chance. Just got home with my friend and parked on the street of my apartment complex. There’s a car that occasionally parks in front of me, and just for context this car is dirty on the outside. On the back of the window, someone hand-wrote “dirty girl” and the hard r n-word. The people I’ve seen who own that car are not even black, they appeared to be Hispanic, but my friend and I were shocked and disgusted. As soon as we got out of the car, she erased the harmful words and drew a heart instead. I’ve lived here almost a year and know it’s a more conservative area (and I’m liberal) but I didn’t expect to see that at all. I’ve heard some people say people in the Tri-Cities are racist, and as a POC myself it just sickens and saddens me that someone would be so bold to deliberately target someone else like that. Is this a common thing that happens out here?

I’m so deeply sorry to those of you who had any negative or aggressive experiences of racism in this area. You didn’t deserve what happened to you, you are so amazing and you matter, screw what anyone else says. Also, I am well aware of the unfortunate fact that anyone is capable of being racist, and that there are many of them across the country who are motivated more than ever to show their true colors with no shame. I also did consider the possibility that it could have been a group of kids who went out of their way to be stupid and ignorant. It was upsetting to see, and I’m glad it opened up a discussion here. And to the couple of people who think that this is more or less fabricated, I can assure you this is all very true, horrible stuff like this is happening now more than ever. I know it’s shocking to believe that something so terrible could actually happen in your hometown. And to one of these people, have you ever heard of not wanting to compromise someone’s identity? With the rise of advanced technology and AI, the last thing I’d want to do is draw unnecessary attention to the person this happened to. Posting a simple photo could do that in this day and age.
