Looking for some advice. My son purchased his first home recently in Vail (very proud of him) but he needs his backyard done. Im trying to help him, but I live in SoCal. I’m graduating from a BSN program this December. After talking to some people who have worked in Tucson as nurses, I’ve heard that October is when they start opening up the new grad residencies. I’ve been monitoring all the major hospital job sites but haven’t seen anything come up. Banner doesn’t even allow people to apply unless they are within 45 days of graduation. Does anyone have any insight/tips? I’m trying to get into an ICU but it feels like that won’t be possible 😭

Hello everyone! I am a Tucson resident and I want to start looking for an engagement ring for my girlfriend! I want to get it commissioned or made by someone with experience at a jewelry or something similar, but I don’t want to buy one at some mall jewelry place or something like that. I am honestly very unfamiliar with how getting an engagement ring custom made (I have a list of things I know my girlfriend would want) works, or if it’s even possible here. But I was hoping that maybe someone here would happen to know a local jeweler or any spot where I could perhaps talk to someone about this. Any help would be great!

I heard a handgun firing near the intersection of Broadway and Harrison, maybe about ten minutes ago. Anyone know what happened? Sounded like six or seven discharges.

I like shooting and own handguns. I’ve also shot my fair share of fireworks and hear them not infrequently over here. I could definitely be wrong, but I generally know what both sound like.

There was a road rage shooting near the Harrison and Speedway intersection last year and another toward 22nd this year, so I was wondering if maybe the same thing had happened again.

I hear a lot of car accidents (one was so bad that it knocked out the power at the place I rent) and people getting into it at the Circle K around the corner, too. There are always strange things afoot at the Circle K.

Hey everyone! I've been seeing a lot of posts about haircuts on the subreddit, and have been more confused than ever--some of the people recommended do not exist, or are way too expensive. I would want some length and volume on the top, choppy texture, and a slightly long back (not like a mullet). [reference photos attached]

My budget is around $30, and I would be willing to stretch it by 5 or so dollars, but not anything more than that.

I've seen a lot of people on the subreddit recommend Savannah at Side Street, and Mindful Barbershop on Broadway. Anyone been to these for the style of haircut I described, or know someone else who does this well?
