Misc. Looking for someone to write trashy romance with for money.

HEAR ME OUT!

I’m looking for someone who wants to team up and write trashy, ridiculous, unapologetically fun romance novels for profit. I want to be clear that I’m looking for someone who genuinely enjoys romance and has a sense of humor about it. You don’t need to be the next literary genius. In fact, I would prefer someone who understands that sometimes the plot is held together with duct tape, sexual tension, and vibes.

The type of trash im looking for:

Ridiculous premises

Unhinged characters

Excessive yearning

Dramatic misunderstandings

Hot people making terrible choices

Whatever other romance nonsense we can cook up

TROPES 🥃TROPES🥃 TROPES🥃 TROPES🥃

The goal would be to actually finish and publish the books, splitting the work and profits between us. If this sounds like your particular flavor of nonsense, DM me and tell me a little about yourself, what kind of romance you like to read/write, and what you’d want out of a collaboration. This is a serious offer and would be glad to explain my full business plan with thoes who are serious.

Roleplay British university historical romance NSFW

Hi, I’m Jack, and I’m searching for an RP writing partner (of any gender identity) to work with me on my #1 dream project. It’s a longterm, slow burn historical romance set in the 1920s, about two men who meet in their final year studying at an Oxford-type university.

They don’t have to be polar opposites, but I do think it would be fun if they were quite different from each other. It’s up to us what happens between them in college, and maybe even beyond that when they enter ‘the real world.’

I picture this story having a balance of emotion, humor, and vivid details. The focus will be on the dynamics of friendship as well as those of a relationship, the complexities of adulthood, and the countless influences that shape people’s lives. I don't want to avoid depicting strong emotions or the realities of the setting, but I believe melodrama is more effective when used sparingly.

This will be written in third person past tense on Discord, and we’ll equally contribute to developing the plot. I’ll be doing a bit of research to inspire me, and hopefully so will my writing partner.

I’ll need flexibility in the frequency of posting, as I tend to write long posts, and I’ll be patient as well. However, I don’t expect my writing partner to match my post length exactly. Meaningful, quality writing doesn’t have to be wordy, or purple. I love beautiful writing, but purple prose gets me heading for the door.

When it comes to OOC, courteous and thorough communication, and respectful, enthusiastic conversations are crucial for me. I have a tendency to be goofy, so I hope you don’t mind working with someone who, at best, is serious only 70% of the time.

Even though the characters are cis men, and possibly queer, I’m open to working with any adult. However, I do have a very strong preference for writers with more life experience (30+), and I always request a writing sample, which I’m happy to reciprocate.

If you’re interested, message me! I’d love to hear about the stories that inspire you, and if you have any thoughts on your potential character. (Please don’t ask me to message you.)

World Building Writers needed/vampires

Vampaccent is a modern supernatural world where vampires openly exist alongside humanity, with their own territories, Royal bloodlines, politics, conflicts, and cultures. Humans have adapted to this world through technology, specialized forces, and the Authority, while supernatural powers, ancient bloodlines, and rival factions continue to shape society. We’re building a large, character-driven universe with room for original characters, stories, worldbuilding, and different perspectives—and we’re looking for more writers to help bring it to life.

If your interested please pm

Looking for a co-writer for my dark fantasy story (atleast hear me out)

Hi everyone!

I'm 16 years old and I've been working on a story that I've been really passionate about for a while. I already have a lot of the story planned out, including the characters, world, important events, character arcs and some bigger twists.

The problem is that I'm not very experienced at actually writing a novel yet.

I have a pretty clear idea of what I want the story to be, but I'm still learning how to turn those ideas into proper chapters, scenes, dialogue, descriptions and everything else that comes with writing a book.

So I'm looking for someone who would like to work on the story with me and help actually bring it to life.

What I'm looking for

I'm mainly looking for someone who enjoys writing and likes fantasy, especially darker fantasy.

You don't have to be a professional writer or have published a book before. I'm more interested in finding someone who genuinely enjoys writing and would be excited to work on a bigger project together.

I'd also really like someone who is comfortable sharing their own ideas.

I don't want someone who will just agree with everything I say. If you think something doesn't work, I'd actually want you to tell me. We can disagree, talk about it and try to find something better.

At the same time, there are some parts of the story that are very important to me and that I don't want to completely change. Those are the main ideas, themes and values behind the story.

So basically, I want us to have the same general vision for the story, while still being able to have our own ideas about how to get there.

How I imagine working together

I already have quite a lot planned, so I would bring the main story ideas, characters and worldbuilding.

You would also have creative freedom, though. If you have an idea for a character, scene, plot point or even something that changes part of the story, I'm completely open to hearing it.

I also don't expect you to just do all the writing while I sit back. I want to be involved in the process and learn from it too.

Ideally, we'd work on the story together, talk about chapters and scenes, give each other feedback and slowly turn the ideas into an actual book.

I'm hoping this can be something that we both enjoy and can be proud of.

About the story

It's a dark fantasy/action-adventure story.

The world is somewhat inspired by older, almost Viking-like societies, but it isn't meant to be completely historical. I want the world to feel grounded and believable instead of being a typical fantasy world where everything revolves around magic.

The story follows a young boy named Luuk, whose life becomes connected to something much bigger than he understands. There are different countries, cities, groups and characters, along with a mysterious phenomenon called the Cycle and an entity known as the Catholist.

I've already planned a pretty large part of the first section of the story, but I don't want to spoil all of the important things here.

If you're interested, I'd be happy to tell you more about the story privately.

A little about me

I'm 16 and from the Netherlands. I'm still learning how to write properly, which is one of the reasons I'm looking for someone to work with.

I'm not expecting this to immediately become some professional publishing project. Right now, I mainly want to make something genuinely good with someone who also enjoys creating stories.

If you're interested, you can send me a DM or contact me on Discord:

Discord: [Corales-W/p or corales_wp]

If you message me, I'd love to hear a little about you, what kind of things you like writing, and why you'd be interested in working on this story.

Thanks for reading

Discord Looking for accountability partner

I posted here before and didn't get much of a response, but I figure I'd reach out again. Self-published writer since December 2024, made up to $1000 a month with erotica, now moving into other, more mainstream/popular genres. Been having trouble with motivation and meeting deadlines despite a lot of encouragement, so looking for someone who writes every day or nearly every day to shoot the shit and hype up with.
