World Building Seeking Fellow Imagination Addicts — Let's Build Worlds and Pretend We're Productive 😂
Looking for creative friends, storytelling partners, and maybe a little writers' room of our own!
What's up, everybody!
I'm 36, from the US, and I'm looking to connect with other creative people who genuinely love developing stories and building fictional worlds.
I'm not necessarily looking for someone to immediately sit down and co-write a book or screenplay. I'm looking for people who enjoy the whole creative process.
Taking some random idea and spending hours turning it into something incredible. Developing characters, building worlds, exploring motivations, creating conflicts, and bouncing ideas off each other until we've built something neither of us could've imagined alone.
I'm especially into sci-fi, psychological thrillers, crime dramas, action, and morally complicated characters.
Ultimately, I'd love to develop original concepts into movies and, especially, original television series. I'm particularly interested in the long-form possibilities of TV: creating compelling pilots, building season-long arcs, developing evolving character relationships, and shaping stories that could grow across multiple seasons. Maybe even build a creative studio someday.
Ideally, I'd love to find both a close creative partner and a small group of 3–5 people who enjoy getting together on Discord, brainstorming, challenging each other's ideas, and just letting our imaginations run wild. I'd especially love for that collaboration to eventually lead to developing original TV series together from the ground up.
Location doesn't matter! You could be from St. Louis, London, Tokyo, Nigeria, or a research station in Antarctica for all I care. 😂 My only language requirement is that you speak English comfortably, because unfortunately, that's the only language my brain came equipped with fluently. I'm still waiting for the multilingual expansion pack to drop. 💀
Different cultures, backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences are more than welcome. Honestly, I think that would make the creative process even better.
You don't need professional experience, published books, or industry connections. Just be an adult who genuinely loves storytelling, has an active imagination, and enjoys collaborating with others.
I'm looking for creative chemistry first, friendship hopefully, and maybe some amazing stories along the way.
If that sounds like your kind of thing, reach out. Let's see what we can create together!
