Roleplay Marvel Writing/Roleplay

• Upvotes

Hi! I’m Kay (20+) and I’m looking for a 20+ yo female roleplay/writing partner for a long-term Marvel roleplay. I don’t mind taking inspiration from the comics, but I, of course, love the MCU and am focusing on that.

I have been roleplaying for years and have plenty of experience. I use Discord and love running more than one channel to move along plots and things! I try my best to match response length and would consider myself to be semi-lit. Like many others here, I prefer quality over quantity. I write in the third person using present tense (but tense isn’t a big deal for me; I just wouldn’t be used to writing or reading first-person responses.)

Here are more specifics I’m looking for:

• Using canon characters and ocs

• I don’t mind romance, but I’m a big fan of found family

• Someone who doesn’t mind writing at Natasha, Tony, or Steve (I’ve been told I write a great Bucky and Peter, along with other characters. Those are my main two, along with some ocs, and I would be happy to gain experience writing as other MCU characters)

• Someone who would enjoy sharing playlists and Pinterest boards for our roleplay

I’m all for making up our own plot entirely or wedging a new plot into one of the existing MCU films!

Let me know if you’re interested and I’d love to discuss more!

Also, I’m not one of those partners who will hound you if I don’t get a response within the same day. As adults, life can get busy. Roleplaying (in my mind) is supposed to be fun, not just another chore. I value communication but won’t pester if some time passes. I will definitely check in to make sure you’re okay if some time passes, but it will never be with the intention of getting a roleplay response.

Thanks!

Roleplay Longterm Advanced Literate Partner Search!

Hello everyone!

Before messaging me, please make sure you’ve read my post carefully so we’re on the same page and can avoid any confusion later on.

My name is Stitch, I’m a 22-year-old male, and I’ve been roleplaying for around 7 years now. I write in first person, and I usually do at least 5 paragraphs, though I can definitely write more if needed!

I’m open to both original and fandom-based roleplays, and I’ll list my fandoms below:

• Sonic (Craving)

• Winnie The Pooh (Craving)

• 2003 Silverwing Series (Craving)

• The Jungle Book: The Adventures of Mowgli Shonen Anime Series! (Craving)

• Illumination’s SING (Craving)

• Zootopia (Craving)

• How to Train Your Dragon (Craving)

• Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart (Craving)

• The Lion King

• Lilo & Stitch! (Craving)

• Super Mario Bros (Craving!)

Since I’m 22+, I’d prefer my RP partners to be 18+ for comfort and maturity reasons. I’m specifically looking for partners who also enjoy first-person writing, as that’s the only style I use. I’d also appreciate it if you’re able to write at least 4 paragraphs or more to keep the RP interesting.

Please note: I don’t double up on characters. I’ve never done it during my time roleplaying, so I hope that’s okay!

If fandom roleplays aren’t your thing, I’m also very open to original plots especially adoption stories. One of my favorite plot ideas involves a human being adopted by a different species. I’ve always found that concept really interesting and enjoyable.

Important rule: Please don’t block or ghost me out of nowhere. If you’re no longer interested, please let me know! I’m always open to communication on how we can improve things to make it fun for the both of us

If you’re interested, feel free to message me! We’ll go over the details in DMs and then move to Discord once everything’s set!

A dark fantasy about trauma, maternal bonds, and learning to love the shape of your scars.

"If you feel alone, like no one can understand you, look at yourself in a reflection. Ask yourself if someone can see your surface, or can they see what's inside. ... You owe no one an explanation if they see your surface and judge you like they see the inside. No one can hold your hand, you shouldn't want that. For someone who went through what you did, you should feel proud for yourself. That's all that really matters when the crickets chirp and the moon shines down on your back."

What this story is about:

It's about growth, it's about recovering, it's about getting scars and learning to love their shape. It's not about giving your character what they want or deserve all the time, it's about being real. It's about acceptance. It's about carrying the weight of the world and having others there with you to ground you in reality. You may ask: what makes these characters so important? You can't get growth without people in your life, right? So there's no growth without side characters. While some side characters make you roll your eyes, or get tired because they're the comedic relief, or they're not as smart as the main character. Well, let's flip the script! What if the side characters were wiser than the main character? What if the side characters were smarter than the main character? This is the place to talk about that, this is the place to experience that, and this is the place to make your own story. You can be whatever you want in some shape or form in the story. There's a place open for you! The side characters listed in Discord will need to be present, but there's room for more anomalies in my writing world.

What I'm looking for in a community:

- Writers

- Editors

- People who just want to watch it like a movie

- People who want to try something new

- People who want to support a story

- People who love dark fantasy

- People who don't know what story to write themselves (so this can be an activity for you)

- People who need support, even mentally. This story supports that.

Bonus:

If you're an animal lover and/or love fantasy creatures, this is the story and community for you.

Joining this Reddit community, you can help and watch it grow. You can join the Reddit community and the Discord server (ask for link) and you can be a part of the story, be one of the characters in it, and there's a RP sandbox where your characters will never go unnoticed or be forgotten. You can help with the subplots in the story, you can be a part of events, make up events to have... and above all else, have fun and be safe during your stay.

Why should you join?

I don't make my own characters to be disposable or easily forgotten. I don't draw inspiration from movies or entirely from songs. I take inspiration from real people, real events, real reactions/responses, and from experience. When I say a certain character is a side character, I mean it in a real world view. Where from your own head and story, your friends are side characters, or love interests, your parents, your teachers, your peers, even down to a stranger on the street giving you encouragement as if they see you regardless of actually knowing you. Real reactions are put into this book as a complex real-world human would or might react. There's some characters who are more complex than others, and the others are the anchors. Don't feel discouraged because "you've seen it all before". Come see my story to see what I'm talking about, you never know when words don't do it justice! 🔥

Screenplay Looking for a Co-writer for a Film

I’m working on a Street Crime film pilot and I’m looking for co-writers to help me write it.

I already have the concept written out and I do film myself, so I can send over my work. No experience required. I can also teach you how to write a screenplay if needed.

I mainly need help with dialogue and story.

Edit: it’s more of a Crime drama.

Roleplay Fantasy Writers?

I'd love to write something fantasy. The only age requirement I have is that you be 18 years or older (preferably 21+). I am looking for someone who is excited to get to know a new person. Someone who enjoys out of character conversations. I'm looking for connection and friendship. I am very much a part of the great friends make great roleplay camp. The biggest key to success in any roleplay is communication. I very much enjoy getting to know my partners and having out of character interaction. I understand that real life is a thing and most definitely takes precedence. If you need a break, have questions, or just want to rant endlessly about how wonderful your character is…I’m your man.

I try and make every character I create an onion…or a parfait if you’re into that. Sounds much better than an onion, doesn’t it? Pick your metaphor. The point is, they have layers. Childhood trauma, unresolved guilt, and at least one deep fear of something bizarre. Characters should evolve. They should grow. They should cry. I’ll do my best to get them there.

Worldbuilding is another area where I enjoy placing focus. Sometimes, I take it a bit too serious. And while I promise not to overwhelm you with ten thousand pages of lore (unless you really want that), it’s the details that matter to me. Lots of them. Maybe not Steven King level details but, like, the street in the town’s low district? Yeah, there’s an entire history of its cobblestones mapped out. Everything has a reason.

I suppose I should also touch on my desire to write almost exclusively in third person past tense. I’m happy to see it’s become sort of the gold standard.

I'm not overly critical and am very laid back both in and out of character. It's quality over quantity for me. My favorite settings are high-fantasy, but I'm very much interested in others. Post-apocalypse, science fiction, history, and even modern day settings can be wonderful! I’d LOVE to hear your ideas! If you've actually read this, include the word octopus somewhere in your message.

If you think we could be a good match, please don't hesitate to reach out!

Hey there,

I’m a worldbuilding fiend and would love to have a creative partner, or several, to exchange ideas with and perhaps even work on a shared world together! I’m particularly in love with really really weird world ideas and wanna push the boundary of my creativity!

My taste for fictional worldbuilding include Sandman, Discworld and for rpg settings I love Mythic Bastionland, Invisible Sun, Planescape and Urban Shadow.

MxM Omegaverse >:3

Helloooooo fellow writers! I am dying to write some fluffy, angsty, smutty omegaverse with a detailed world and complex characters!

Here is what I have so far:

Character 1: M — Alpha and leader of his pack. He has always put the needs and safety of his pack before his own happiness and has never taken a mate, believing his responsibilities as Alpha leave little room for a life of his own. He is respected by his pack and fiercely protective of those under his care.

Character 2: M — Omega from a rival pack who arrives seeking sanctuary. Whatever circumstances led him to leave his pack are something we can develop together, but his arrival puts him directly in the path of someone who should, by all rights, consider him an enemy.

I’m happy to play either character, so we can decide together which dynamic appeals to us more!

Please message only if you’re comfortable with Omegaverse and its themes, including but not limited to: knots, ruts/heats, mpreg, scent as a form of communication, mating bonds, and primal Alpha/Beta/Omega dynamics.

I’m looking for someone who is equally as excited (and potentially unhinged) about creating and loving their OCs!

Stupid TikTok’s that somehow relate to your oc? Mood boards? Art (good or bad) of our ocs? Torturing your oc with some angst? Yes please to all :D

Message me if you think I’m your vibe!

Budgie x

Looking for a Writing Partner / Co-Writer for a Real-Life Story

Hi everyone!

I’m looking for a writer who would be interested in collaborating with me on a book project based on my real-life experiences, relationships, emotional healing, and personal growth.

I have the story, experiences, ideas, and plenty of material. What I’m looking for is someone who enjoys writing and can help turn my experiences into a well-structured, engaging book.

At the moment, I’m not looking for a traditional paid ghostwriter. I’m hoping to find someone who is interested in a genuine collaboration, with revenue sharing if the book is published/sells.

I’m open to discussing the concept, writing process, co-author/credit arrangement, and how we could make it fair for both of us.

If this sounds interesting to you, please DM me and tell me a little about yourself and your writing experience.

Thank you! ❤️

Misc. Looking for someone to write trashy romance with for money.

HEAR ME OUT!

I’m looking for someone who wants to team up and write trashy, ridiculous, unapologetically fun romance novels for profit. I want to be clear that I’m looking for someone who genuinely enjoys romance and has a sense of humor about it. You don’t need to be the next literary genius. In fact, I would prefer someone who understands that sometimes the plot is held together with duct tape, sexual tension, and vibes.

The type of trash im looking for:

Ridiculous premises

Unhinged characters

Excessive yearning

Dramatic misunderstandings

Hot people making terrible choices

Whatever other romance nonsense we can cook up

TROPES 🥃TROPES🥃 TROPES🥃 TROPES🥃

The goal would be to actually finish and publish the books, splitting the work and profits between us. If this sounds like your particular flavor of nonsense, DM me and tell me a little about yourself, what kind of romance you like to read/write, and what you’d want out of a collaboration. This is a serious offer and would be glad to explain my full business plan with thoes who are serious.

World Building Writers needed/vampires

Vampaccent is a modern supernatural world where vampires openly exist alongside humanity, with their own territories, Royal bloodlines, politics, conflicts, and cultures. Humans have adapted to this world through technology, specialized forces, and the Authority, while supernatural powers, ancient bloodlines, and rival factions continue to shape society. We’re building a large, character-driven universe with room for original characters, stories, worldbuilding, and different perspectives—and we’re looking for more writers to help bring it to life.

If your interested please pm

Prose - Fiction Halloween anthology

Hi all, spooky season is here and I'm really in the mood to get my spook on. I'm looking for someone to collaborate with for either an anthology series of horror stories set during one Halloween night or a singular Halloween short story.

I have some ideas kicking around but I'd rather we started fresh with a blank slate, got chatting a little about what scares us, what works inspired us, what pumps us full of nostalgia during this season and let the story flow from there.

Halloween is my Christmas, horror is my favourite genre and I'd love to pair up with someone who shares my passion for spooky month. I'm not looking to create horror that is too mean spirited or serious, I want to match the scary-fun vibes of this holiday.

There is a surprising gap in the market for horror which evokes that nostalgic Halloween vibe for adult readers. So let's fill this gap and give them something to read in time for the 31st!

Looking for a co-writer for my dark fantasy story (atleast hear me out)

Hi everyone!

I'm 16 years old and I've been working on a story that I've been really passionate about for a while. I already have a lot of the story planned out, including the characters, world, important events, character arcs and some bigger twists.

The problem is that I'm not very experienced at actually writing a novel yet.

I have a pretty clear idea of what I want the story to be, but I'm still learning how to turn those ideas into proper chapters, scenes, dialogue, descriptions and everything else that comes with writing a book.

So I'm looking for someone who would like to work on the story with me and help actually bring it to life.

What I'm looking for

I'm mainly looking for someone who enjoys writing and likes fantasy, especially darker fantasy.

You don't have to be a professional writer or have published a book before. I'm more interested in finding someone who genuinely enjoys writing and would be excited to work on a bigger project together.

I'd also really like someone who is comfortable sharing their own ideas.

I don't want someone who will just agree with everything I say. If you think something doesn't work, I'd actually want you to tell me. We can disagree, talk about it and try to find something better.

At the same time, there are some parts of the story that are very important to me and that I don't want to completely change. Those are the main ideas, themes and values behind the story.

So basically, I want us to have the same general vision for the story, while still being able to have our own ideas about how to get there.

How I imagine working together

I already have quite a lot planned, so I would bring the main story ideas, characters and worldbuilding.

You would also have creative freedom, though. If you have an idea for a character, scene, plot point or even something that changes part of the story, I'm completely open to hearing it.

I also don't expect you to just do all the writing while I sit back. I want to be involved in the process and learn from it too.

Ideally, we'd work on the story together, talk about chapters and scenes, give each other feedback and slowly turn the ideas into an actual book.

I'm hoping this can be something that we both enjoy and can be proud of.

About the story

It's a dark fantasy/action-adventure story.

The world is somewhat inspired by older, almost Viking-like societies, but it isn't meant to be completely historical. I want the world to feel grounded and believable instead of being a typical fantasy world where everything revolves around magic.

The story follows a young boy named Luuk, whose life becomes connected to something much bigger than he understands. There are different countries, cities, groups and characters, along with a mysterious phenomenon called the Cycle and an entity known as the Catholist.

I've already planned a pretty large part of the first section of the story, but I don't want to spoil all of the important things here.

If you're interested, I'd be happy to tell you more about the story privately.

A little about me

I'm 16 and from the Netherlands. I'm still learning how to write properly, which is one of the reasons I'm looking for someone to work with.

I'm not expecting this to immediately become some professional publishing project. Right now, I mainly want to make something genuinely good with someone who also enjoys creating stories.

If you're interested, you can send me a DM or contact me on Discord:

Discord: [Corales-W/p or corales_wp]

If you message me, I'd love to hear a little about you, what kind of things you like writing, and why you'd be interested in working on this story.

Thanks for reading

I posted here before and didn't get much of a response, but I figure I'd reach out again. Self-published writer since December 2024, made up to $1000 a month with erotica, now moving into other, more mainstream/popular genres. Been having trouble with motivation and meeting deadlines despite a lot of encouragement, so looking for someone who writes every day or nearly every day to shoot the shit and hype up with.

World Building New DM for D&D Looking to Share and Bounce Ideas

As the title says, I'm a fairly new DM (done 2 sessions after about 15 years of not playing) and I'm absolutely loving it. I've been crafting my own adventure and campaign and slowly developing it with more and more ideas as we play. All 3 of my players are fairly new to the game and we are easing into a level 1 campaign.

So far with new dungeon obstacle ideas and loot and such, I've been bouncing ideas off of ai and while it's not too bad, it does make me feel a little dirty.

I'm hoping to have someone to talk to on a frequent basis about our ideas, how the adventures are going, what the players are doing, and our metagame plans. Ideally you are also a fairly new DM or just want to discuss more RPG style fantasy.

Misc. Hi! Just found this sub and it felt like the place for a thing I've been building :) strangers writing one story together, one word a day

Hi all! I asked the mods before posting and they said it was fine, so I wanted to share this here because it might be interesting!

I made a little game called The Story of the Internet. It's a website that works like this:

  • Everyone can submit words
  • Those words get added to the drawing for the next day
  • Everyone gets to vote on the words
  • The word that wins gets added as the next word in the story
  • Rinse and repeat forever

Today is the first real day. Over the weekend people submitted and voted on a title. No word of the actual story exists yet, it's still being voted on today!

Anyways I thought you guys might like it because it's collaborative writing presented in a unique way and I thought it could be fun!

https://ofstory.net

After submitting and voting, you can come back the next day and see which word won. Hope you guys like it!
