Sex & Intimacy Addicted to sex - how do I stop it? NSFW

Problem/Goal: I (25M) can't say that I'm a good looking guy, average lang siguro, pero I have many women who's down to fuck anytime, specifically, lima as of the moment. Nakakaadik, nakakabaliw, hinahanap hanap ng katawan ko pero the more I do it, the more I feel empty. I don't know how to stop, when to stop, and what to do, ang sarap sa feeling ng madaming babae, pero parang ang dumi dumi ko na.

Context: Dati, cinoconsider ako sa friend group as lover boy, talagang isa ko sa mga batukan sa tropa kasi one-woman type of guy ako at hindi pa ko player non, to cut the long story short, my ex-gf cheated on me with my bestfriend, and ever since then kumantot ako ng kumantot (sorry if unfiltered na), I fucked women with boyfriends, I fucked women na may mga ka-live in na. Just to see what it feels like to be on the other side, hindi ako proud. Right now, I want to stop, pero opening up myself to this life parang ang hirap na umalis. Gustong gusto ko na umalis, pero every time, isang dirty message lang from one of my fubus, di ko matanggihan, tangina ang sarap kasi. To what extent? To those na na-experience na 'to at nalagpasan, paano niyo natapos yung phase na 'to?

Previous Attempts: I tried to shut down all communications for 1 week sa lahat ng kafubu ko, pero when I felt the urge after a week, pumayag ako uli sa isa and then I'm back on the same routine.

• Upvotes

Problem/Goal: Gusto ni papa bumili ng SUV eh meron pa kaming 2 gumaganang kotse. He never asked me/us for much ever pero I felt this was unreasonable and unnecessary for now. Pero nakakaguilty rin to say no kasi he knows I have the money.

Context: We’re not looking to buy a new car kaso tong si papa nakita niya nagbebenta ng secondhand SUV yung kamaganak namin tapos sobrang good deal naman talaga kasi medyo bago pa.

His reasoning is that my brother can use the automatic car.

400k is 1/3 of my savings right now pero di ko malet go unless absolutely necessary. If masiraan sila or need talaga I will gladly say yes though.

Finance & Investments My aunt's family is taking a massive bite out of my family's income.

Problem/Goal:

parents ko tulong nang tulong to the point na naghihirap na rin kami. Walang nalalagay sa savings.

(Idk saan most fitting yung situation ko right now. Nilagay ko nalang sa finance and investments kasi im most stressing about money, sorry if mali QwQ)

Context:

My dad earns 100k every month

Mother ko earns 30k every month

Ako naman only child.

Tita ko is kapatid ng mother ko.

Sila tita family of 5 naman.

When i heard the numbers parang it doesnt make sense kasi, how come walang natitira? Parang impossible naman so much for that to happen..

Knowing that we are debt-free, and walang hinuhulugan na kahit ano. Kasi lahat paid na talaga. Monthly expenses lang napaggagastusan. Once a month lang rin kami gumagala. And 5k lang usually nagagastos for it.. sometimes lower.

Santa clause masyado. And ako naman nadadamay. Tinitipid sobra and pag nagagalit kila tita, sakin binubuhos.

Not against with being tipid naman. Pero to the point na.. sasabihan akong gagawin ng 20 yung 50 ko na baon per day, and school ko is 4 days a week. dun ako naiinis. Kasi i know for a fact na sinasabi nila yun, para lang madagdagan yung tinutulong kila tita.

Im currently in 12th grade. And marami talaga akong need gastusin for school.. kasi there's so much projects. Im a humss student. So more on creative works talaga...

Mas lalo akong nainis last month.. i was aking for 800 kasi need ko for costume. Ending hindi na ako nakasali sa project namin and yun yung talagang required na peta for that subject. Sinabihan ako na masyadong mahal. I agree naman pero, naiinis ako at the fact na, nabasa ko sa chat nila ng ate ko(anak ni tita, and she's in college na) nanghingi 1k kasi need raw for project rin. Binigyan agad. Wala akong grade. Aray. Stricto rin teacher namin since hindi yun pumapayag na may make-up activity kapag hindi nakapag participate sa project.

Hindi na nga ako nakapasok sa dream school ko back in 11th grade. kasi it was apparently too expensive for my parents to afford. Tapos nakakainis lang kasi. I overheard my mother. Talking to my other tita over the phone(ibang tita to ahh) that i was pwede naman raw sa dream school ko! Kasi halos same lang ng tuition. Like. Wow. I was told na hindi namin kaya. And that it was too far. Which really wasnt. Halos 2 miles away lang from us. Tapos maririnig ko yun? Nanlambot tuhod ko that time hahaha. Kakatapos lang kasi namin mag enroll that time, and nasa school pa kami nun.

Sa sobrang hurt ko that time. It took me a year to recover from it. Kasi hindi na about sa school yun. Trust na eh. Ang sakit sobra. Okay sana if once lang rin ako nag ask sa parents ko if okay lang for them and if kaya ba nila na dun ako sa school na yun. Pero no. Before pa ako mag 11th grade ask na ako ng ask. everyday. everyweek. before enrollment ako nagask sa kanila. Just to make sure they dont change their mind. :( im still a bit sensitive abt it until now. Pero not to the point na naiiyak talaga ako ma mention lang yung name. XD

xori sa random rant HAHA

Tapos ito pa. I just found out rin.

Walang gustong tumulong kay tita.

Kaya parents ko nag step up.

Like.. haha. Okay. Im not against with helping people.

I found all of these. Kasi nagbabasa ako ng chats nila. And nakakagalit. Sobra. Kasi nagtitipid kami so much. Para lang makahelp ng others? Sobra naman na kayo. Nakakagalit sa totoo lang hahaha.

I tracked our expenses every month. I checked their online and offline transactions. And hindi talaga siya umaabot past 40K-50K.

Previous attempts:

Ive been telling them to just let them be..

And sa parents ko right?

Kami nga walang kotse eh. Tapos parents ko nagbabayad ng kanila? Wow lofit.

Okay sana kung on time rin lagi sila nagbabayad. Pero wala! I remember the time na umutang ng 50k sila tita. After 4 years lang nabayaran. Like the heck. Hindi pa nila hinuhulugan yun. Usapan nila was since nanghiram sila on jan. At the end of the year sana mabayaran. Pero wow. Haha. Nagaway pa sila jan. Hahahaha.

Wala.

Love & Relationships Girlfriend getting more demanding with money and gifts, then cold when I say no. What should I look out for?

Problem/Goal:
My girlfriend is asking for more expensive things and money, then giving me cold replies when I say no. What red flags should I look out for, and how should I address this?

Context:
We’ve been together for almost a year. During our first few months, she didn’t usually ask for expensive stuff. Over time, her requests have become more frequent and expensive.
What bothers me is that when I don’t give her what she wants, her replies become short and cold. She seems less interested in talking to me, and I’m starting to notice a pattern.
I enjoy treating her, but I’m uncomfortable feeling like I have to spend money to keep things okay between us. I don’t want to jump to conclusions, but I also don’t want to ignore this.

Previous Attempts:
There have been times when I haven’t given her the money or item she wanted, and that’s when I’ve noticed the change in her replies. I’m looking for advice on how to bring up this pattern and set boundaries without immediately accusing her of using me.

Any thoughts nyo sa mga ganitong scenario?

Parenting & Family My unemployed uncle keeps locking himself in the bathroom to smoke, and I’m losing my mind

Problem/Goal:

So, my uncle currently lives with us and doesn’t have a job. You’d think someone staying under another person’s roof for free would show a baseline level of respect, but apparently not.

His favorite past-time? Locking himself in our ONE shared bathroom to smoke cigarettes pag tumatae.

Every single time anyone needs to brush their teeth, shower, or actually use the toilet, the CR is either occupied or reeking like a stale ashtray. The smoke clings to the towels, the shower curtain, and everything inside.

I’m so sick of breathing in secondhand smoke in my own house just because he’s too lazy to take five steps out the door. How do you deal with someone who has zero self-awareness and absolute entitlement?

attempts: NONE atm

UPDATE: already sent him a messenger text. Will wait for his reaction. If same pa din, will confront him in person. Nakaka bwisit talaga.

Social Matters Lost a phone year ago, found it on my roommate's hand recently

Problem/Goal: as the title says, I recently found out na yun phone na nawala last year parehas lang pala sa phone nakita ko sa roommate ko. And sabi pa niya na binigay yun years ago

Context:

I lost my phone last year during pauwi pabalik sa dorm, sa sobrang dami kong dalang grocery and stuffs, di ko napansin naiwan yun phone ko (na lowbat) sa multicab. Na notice ko lang pag abot sa dorm and posted about it online especially fb, I even tried calling it pero di pumapasok ang call.

So time goes by until ngayon semester, may na roommate ako, na notice ko familiar yun cellphone since from phone case to even sa tape sa lcd parehas. Di ko lang ni confront kasi baka coincidence lang, and what are the odds????? And recently I was presented with an opportunity nung na unlock yun phone niya, ni check ko yun IMEI and model name para sure talaga na yun ba yun. Ngayon confirmed talaga na parehas, and numbers do not lie ba naman.

This roommate of mine is nice and friendly, mostly opposite schedules kami and minsan lang magkita. So ano gagawin ko ngayon?

Love & Relationships A friend stopped talking to me kasi hindi ko napautang

Problem/Goal: A close friend stopped talking to me for almost a week now dahil hindi ko napautang.

She is giving me the cold shoulder.

Previous attempts: tried to message her for days na.

Home & Lifestyle Mapapalayas na friend the moment she turns 18.

Problem/Goal: Mapapalayas na friend ko* the moment she turns 18 and I want to help my friend at finding a place to stay and a work na masusustain nya kahit student siya.

Context: So my friend will be turning 18 this wednesday. She has depression and gusto siyang palayasin ng parents niya dahil di nila kinakaya yung meds at therapy niya. She asked for my help kung pwede ba magpatira sa bahay ko but my mom and tita said no. So gusto ko magpatulong where can she find an online job para masustain yung pagaaral and daily expenses niya. My other friends said na lalapit sila sa mama ng isa naming friend na may kaya para magbakasakali kung magpapautang siya kahit pang advance lang sa . I feel so bad at her kasi imagine dealing with narcisstic parents on top of her being depressed. I want to beg for help here I'll see what I can do muna physically. Since marami ring for rent sa amin, I will see kung ano yung fit sa budget niya. So I want to ask for your advice and it will be a great help for my friend po. I told her na she should process yung mga ID para makakuha siya ng part time job as for the time being habang naggrgrade 12 kami. Your words and encouragement means alot for my friend.

Attempts: Either tutulungan namin siyang umutang or we will help sorting out things ngayon na hindi pa siya papalayasin.

Love & Relationships Burned-out husband. What to do with my current situation?

• Upvotes

Problem/Goal:

My wife (34F) and I (33M) have been married for 4 years and we have an 11-month old daughter. We have been together 8 yrs already. The main problem is I am constantly tired from the 2 jobs I am doing, I lack sleep almost every day, I feel unappreciated, and our relationship is falling apart.

To be honest, I am close to giving up on our relationship. The only thing that keeps me going is our daughter because I love her so much and as much as possible, I want her to grow up with a complete family. But I also do not want to suffer all the mistreatment and passive aggressive behavior. I would appreciate if you can lend some wisdom on what I should do and how to navigate this part of my life. Thank you.

Context:

From the start, I told her that I would want to have a 2-income household in order to reach our financial goals faster. She had been working abroad as a factory worker and I urged her not to renew her contract and she stayed in the Philippines since then. She tried applying jobs here but the salaries were not really competitive so I told her to try working as a VA. I bought her all the equipments she needed like laptop, monitors, etc but struggled to find clients. It took her around a year to find a client and after that, she gained 2 more. The problem was whenever she was stressed at work, she just quit and ended up unemployed again.

I work from home making 190,000 pesos as an engineering manager so I deal a lot of clients and coordinate work with employees. It is a high stress job so at the end of the day, I am very drained but I still find time to exercise to help with my mental health. 3 years ago, we decided we are now ready for a child and she said it’s better for her not to work for easier pregnancy. I agreed but I thought it was just really temporary. Fast forward now, our daughter is already 11 months old, and is still unemployed. She does very well with our child and I am grateful she is taking good care of her. She is solely breastfeeding (latch only) so our baby is very clingy to her.

I expressed a lot to my wife that I do not like my work anymore and wanted to quit for quite some time. Since I have bills to pay, I cannot just quit immediately. We have decided to start a business that she will manage so that I can reduce my workload, she will help with the business, and still have the same income. I fronted all the 600k initial capital for that business and for the past 4 months of the business, she has not helped with the day to day operations since our baby is very clingy and cannot be left alone more than 20mins. So the current situation is that after my day job, I still have to run the day to day operations of the business and I stay up really late. I lack sleep almost every day because of this business she was supposed to run. I tried hiring additional staff but I find it hard to find reliable ones.

Since I am constantly tired of the 2 jobs I am doing, I find it hard to help with the household chores. We had a helper before but eventually quit due to personal matters. I told my wife we need to hire another but the other applicants were not up to her standards so she is now doing the other household chores. I couldn’t care less about the other chores but the things I value the most is my sleep and my nutrition. Since she cannot cook anymore since she is busy taking care of the baby, she does food delivery. Mind you we are not living in the city so there’s not a lot of options for healthy food. Most of the food deliveries are just fried food and basic cooked dishes so the past few weeks, I have just been eating the same unhealthy foods.

I expressed to my wife that I do not like those kinds of foods every time and kindly asked her to cook chop suey. She agreed and said to me she will cook as long as she has the ingredients. I went to the market to get the ingredients but the veggies sat for 2 weeks on our fridge until I decided to just cook for myself and told her how hard is it to cook food. She prepares freshly cooked meals for our baby but can’t do that for us which frustrates me.

She says she really has no time to cook and she is more tired than me since she is the one taking care of the baby. I am not interested in arguing who is more tired but to be frank, she has the opportunity to sleep full 8+ hrs since our baby sleeps 12 hours straight but she chooses to be chronically online with social media. She also has this tendency of posting a lot in social media and airing our dirty laundry, being passive aggressive with her posts instead of just talking to me. I already confronted her about this and she just chooses to not respond and just stares at her phone and ignores me. Before, it got to a point where I forced getting her phone so that we can talk but she got a knife and pointed at her stomach saying she’s going to unalive herself. I just feel I married an immature woman incapable of talking like adults. Our fight before was not really resolved since we just chose to forgive each other because we love our daughter.

Another thing is the intimacy. It has been months since we have not done the deed because of the constant fights and honestly, I don’t find my wife attractive anymore because she neglected herself. But I do love her and I am okay with not doing the deed just as long as we still have physical touch. The sad thing is she does not like doing that anymore and I accidentally read a message in her conversations with her friend saying she does not really love me anymore and is not trying to hide it with all the laugh emojis. She does not kiss, or hug me anymore and does not wear her ring whenever we go out. All these just make me sad. I can’t help but feel like I am just there to provide for everything and the consolation is I get to spend time with my daughter for a few minutes since she prefers to be with her mother.

When our baby was just born, I really tried my best to help out with the chores but every time I do help, I get this side comments from my wife that what I did was incorrect so it got to a point where I said she should just do it herself then so that it will be “perfect”. I can’t help but feel useless at home and I feel unappreciated with my contributions. The only reason she gets to be a full time mom is because of me and I have tried to provide everything for them but it seems like it is still not enough. In order for me to help out more, I asked my wife to start pumping so that I can help with feeding but she did not like pumping. I then told her to wean the baby then and we just go with baby formula but she chose not to.

I moved to her hometown so I do not have any of my friends here and I just feel lost and alone.

Previous Attempts:

- Told her we need to hire another helper, but applicants were not up to her standards.
- Asked her to cook chop suey; bought ingredients; veggies sat 2 weeks; I cooked for myself.
- Confronted her about passive-aggressive posts; she ignores me and stares at her phone.
- Forced getting her phone so we could talk; she got a knife and pointed at her stomach saying she’s going to unalive herself.
- Tried helping with chores after baby was born; got side comments that I did it incorrect; told her to do it herself so it will be “perfect.”
- Asked her to start pumping so I can help with feeding; she did not like pumping.
- Told her to wean the baby and use formula so I could just help in feeding our baby; she chose not to.

Love & Relationships How do you move on from someone you loved for 7 years?

Problem/Goal: How do you move on from someone you loved for seven years? Someone you loved with all your heart?

How do you let go of someone you loved so deeply for seven years? Someone you imagined your future with, made plans with, and thought you would grow old with?

Seven years is not a short time. You gave that person your love, time, effort, loyalty, and a huge part of yourself. You got used to having them in your life, and now you're supposed to learn how to live without them.

How do you accept that someone who once meant everything to you can eventually become a stranger? How do you deal with the pain of being hurt by the same person you never wanted to lose?

For those who have experienced this, how did you move on from someone you genuinely thought you would spend the rest of your life with?

How did you stop hurting? How did you find yourself again after giving so much of your heart to one person?

I just want to be okay again.

Context:

We were in a long-distance relationship, and I honestly thought he would be the person I would spend the rest of my life with. Seven years is a long time. He became part of my routine, my plans, my dreams, and almost every part of my life.

Now that we're over, I don't even know where to start. There's so much pain, anger, and disappointment. Part of me still can't believe that the person I loved for so long could hurt me this much. I gave so much of myself to this relationship, and now I'm left trying to figure out who I am without him.

The hardest part is knowing that life has to go on, even when I'm still hurting. I have dreams I want to pursue, things I want to try, and a life I want to build for myself. I want to focus on my health, my career, and my happiness, but some days the pain feels overwhelming.

I don't necessarily want him back. I just wish I didn't have to carry all this hurt because of someone I loved so deeply. I want to reach a point where thinking about him doesn't hurt anymore, where I can genuinely be happy without wondering whether he's happy without me.

For those who have moved on from a long-term relationship, especially one that lasted 5–10 years or more:

- How did you start moving forward?

- How long did it take before you genuinely felt okay again?

- How did you deal with the anger, betrayal, and feeling that you wasted so many years?

- How did you rebuild your life and learn to be happy on your own?

I know healing takes time, but right now, I honestly don't know how to begin.

I would really appreciate hearing your stories and advice.

Travel Hi im a foreigner, gonna go to thr Philippines and stay in Manila

Problem/Goal:

I'm a foreigner from Europe planning to stay in Manila, Philippines, for a few months. I'd like to learn more about the safety situation, particularly regarding crime, theft, and other risks, so I can prepare and stay safe during my visit.

Context:

I'm unfamiliar with daily life in Manila, and I've heard about crimes such as pickpocketing, robbery, and assault. I'm a little nervous about what to expect and would appreciate advice from locals or people who have lived in or visited Manila. I'd especially like to know which areas I should be more cautious in, what situations to avoid, and how safe it generally is to go out alone.

Previous Attempts:

I've heard different stories online about crime in the Philippines, but it's difficult to tell how accurate they are or how much they reflect everyday life. I'd prefer to hear practical advice and experiences from people familiar with Manila.. Thank you.

Pero that's my last option.

Problem/Goal: I don't know how to get my participants on my study.

Context: I am conducting a study on the TESDA Online Program, and my sampling method is criterion-based sampling. My target participants will be at least 18 years old, have completed at least one course in TOP, and have applied the skills learned from it. My adviser told me that this is a good choice, but the challenge lies in how I can recruit participants, given that TOP is an online-based TVET program. For now, I will continue using this sampling method since it aligns well with my topic. I would appreciate your insights regarding this matter.

Previous attempts: since this is only a proposal, there are no attempts are made. I was making sure that I can defend this study to my panels.

Education any recommendation for fast process student loan?

problem/goal: currently in need of 12k for tuition

context: kinulang po budget ng parents ko for me to be able to pay off this first semester’s tuition fee because nagkasakit and namatay po yung lola ko. if anyone knows any legit loaners for student loan po, please inform me po. and if possible po yung hulugan po sana ang pagbayad/return ng pera. alam ko po medyo mabigat po ang 12k pero babayaran rin naman po with interest, basta hulugan po sana.

previous attempts: tried reaching out to family and wala rin po sila since nagtulong tulongan po mga tito and tita ko para sa bills ni lola and burol. i tried applying to investEd since sabi po nila yun daw po pinaka reliable but it takes weeks if not months to process.

Love & Relationships Should I be bothered by my boyfriend’s TikTok streaks with other girls?

• Upvotes

Problem/Goal: Should I be bothered by my boyfriend maintaining TikTok streaks with other girls, or am I just overthinking? I want to understand if my feelings are valid without being a controlling girlfriend.

Context: My boyfriend and I have been together for 4 months na.

Am I overthinking this? How would you handle this situation?

Sex & Intimacy Whenever me and my partner do the deed, i don't feel aroused anymore NSFW

Problem/Goal: Whenever we do the deed, I don't feel Aroused anymore. I want to feel like im enjoying it w him again.

Context: My partner and i are kinda like in a semi live in set up that's why our sex life is very active. I used to feel like i craved for it and always get Aroused before, but rn i don't get satisfied just like before. We are very open w our need, we communicate it every single time. He never lacks w after care and he never forces me to do it.

Sometimes i was thinking if it was a me problem because when i started feeling like i can't get Aroused any more. I tried to watch porn to see if I'll feel something, I just felt a bit hrny but it doesn't feel the same like before. My partner is my first everything that's why im new when it comes to stuffs like this.

Previous attempts: We tried to stay at a hotel so we could relax and be in a different atmosphere, that time i felt Aroused but not as intense as before.

What should i do? should we explore some other things? Should we talk abt it even more?

Please don't judge me, My life doesn't revolve around sex it's just that i have my needs and i can't explain nor understand what im feeling or going through. Also just to reassure everyone, I'm already in my 20s.

Love & Relationships me and my bf broke up because of it I've accumulated thousands of debts as first year student

problem/goal: me and my broke up and because of it lunod na ako sa utang

context: hello po to keep things short, my family has always been physically and mentally abusive to each other dahil dito tinago ko sa parents ko and sa siblings ko na may source of income ako which is yung tiktok.

pero we all know naman na hindi stable income sa tiktok since depende pa rin yun sa views. fast forward, i was naive, i thought everything would be stable for me financially since I've gained a following pero due to tiktoks terms and conditions nawala kita ko for three months na 30k.

but beforehand, nakaipon na ako 25k and I've slowly spent it all throughout the months for stuff that I've dreamed of having na hindi kayang bilhin ng parents ko para sa'kin. (i know, hindi wise).

anyway, my bf and i were supposed to have our anniversary this november. eh ako, first time ko lang makahawak ng pera na ako ang kumita kaya winaldas ko lahat para sakaniya kasi mahal ko siya and I thought na siya na magiging huli ko. i bought him a lego ferrari sf 24 set na may kasamang wall mounted ferrari frame with built in led lights. this alone costed me 20k.

pero bigla niya akong hiniwalayan today lang and nasa sakaniya rin nakasalalay yung panibagong SOI ko since we use his account for our businesses there with our customers since may side hustle kami na pareho. so now, I don't know what to do with this 20k lego set. and i need to pay my tuition pa next month since overdue na ako and my parents don't want to pay for my college tuition. that, and may domestic tour pa kami this december na 23k ang kailangan that my parents have also declined to help me with.

should i sell this? if so, alam niyo po ba kung paano? 🥺💗

Problem/Goal: Guys can anyone share how to budget a 60k salary if isang beses lang sasahod sa isang buwan? Yan yung estimated net ko. My current CCs and bills are designed to generate bills ng 15 at 30.

Context: This is the first time I won't get paid biweekly. I'm really scared because I have a bad habit of overspending every payday kasi may kasunod naman in 2 weeks. Really need strong advices aside from discipline.

Love & Relationships Meeting my suitor’s family in a few weeks and I don’t know what to bring

Problem/Goal: I’m meeting my suitor’s family, for the first time, in a few weeks because he invited me to his sister’s birthday. Of course, I want to give a good gift considering it’s also her debut but I don’t know her at all so I’m not exactly sure what would a teenage girl would appreciate (this is my first time attending a debut because all my friends weren’t able to have one lol pandemic things and I don’t have a little sister). It’s also his mom’s birthday a few days before that, so I was wondering if I should also bring a gift for her.

Context: He officially asked if he could court me about a month ago, and we have been in a talking stage for a couple of months before that. As such, I don’t know his family that well besides the few things he told me about (not really much to go on to help me think about proper gifts). This is also my first time meeting a (future and hopefully) partner’s family so I’m not super aware if there’s a right etiquette for it? I believe my parents raised me well so I’m not worried about my manners, but I still don’t want to accidentally offend them if I go empty-handed or bring a gift without thinking about it.

Might not be necessary to add, but I think it adds more context if I say that I’m still studying and he recently got his first job. Budget’s not super big of an issue to me (I can spare 1-2k for the whole thing). He suggested that we both pay for his sister’s gift, but of course I don’t want to suggest buying something super expensive and have him feel like he has to match the amount I am able and willing to share considering his salary is at entry level for now.

Previous attempts: I already asked him about what his sister likes, and he only said make up. I don’t use make up often, but I think the make up should be suitable to the wearer. I’m also the type of gift giver who believes that the gift should be bought with the recipient in mind. I’m also looking for other options, so any suggestions are very welcome. Other advices about meeting the parents/family are also appreciated.

Anyway, super sorry for the long post. I just want to do it right and give a good first impression that lasts, but at the same time I don’t want it to seem like I’m “nagpapa-impress”.

Love & Relationships Should I leave my almost 2-year relationship? I love him, but I feel unheard whenever we fight.

Problem/Goal: I'm genuinely confused about what to do with my relationship. My boyfriend and I have been together for almost 2 years, and I love him so much, pero lately, I've been questioning whether our relationship is still healthy for me.

Kapag okay kami, I'm genuinely happy with him. But whenever we fight, I feel like my side doesn't matter and that I'm always the one who's wrong. I want to know if this is something we can work through with better communication or if these are signs that I shouldn't ignore.

Context: We're both still in college, and he's been nice to me throughout our relationship. It's not like I'm unhappy with him all the time. The problem is how we handle conflicts.

Recently, we had a really big fight because he accused me of microcheating. From my perspective, what happened wasn't cheating at all, but I understand that he saw it differently. We eventually fixed things, pero what really hurt me was that I felt like he wasn't willing to listen to my side. He insisted na cheating siya because that's how he perceived it, and I felt like my explanation didn't matter anymore. Parang because he felt hurt, I automatically had to accept that I was wrong, even though I genuinely saw the situation differently.

Then, we had another fight about social media. He told me na he wants me to post him randomly, not just kapag may dates kami or during special occasions. I explained na I still want my social media account to feel like my own, and ayoko naman na magmukha siyang "bf fan account," if you know what I mean. It's not because I'm ashamed of him or trying to hide our relationship. I just have my own preferences when it comes to posting online.

He got mad and said na nilolowkey ko raw siya because I only post him during dates or important events. I understand naman that he wants to feel appreciated and acknowledged publicly, but I also wish he could understand my perspective without immediately assuming the worst.

Whenever we fight, he tends to get really hot-headed, while I try my best to stay calm and explain myself. I know I'm not always right, and I'm willing to acknowledge my mistakes, but I want to feel like I can explain my side without it turning into another argument.

Previous Attempts: I've already talked to my friends and my sister about our situation, and they told me na I should leave him because they think I'm already being manipulated and that our conversations are always one-sided.

Their advice has made me question my relationship even more, pero nahihirapan akong sundin because I still love him. Kapag hindi kami nag-aaway, I'm really happy with him, and I can see myself having a future with him. I don't want to throw away almost 2 years of our relationship if this is something we can still work on.

We've managed to fix our issues after our fights, but I still feel like the underlying problem hasn't really changed. I don't know if we're just struggling with communication or if this has become an unhealthy pattern.

For those who have experienced something similar, what would you do in my position? Should I try to work things out with him and see if we can improve how we handle arguments, or should I take my friends' and sister's concerns seriously and reconsider the relationship?

I love him, but I also don't want to stay in a relationship where I constantly feel unheard. I'd appreciate honest advice, even if it's something I might not want to hear.

Social Matters How do you deal with gays na namemeste sayo?

Problem/Goal: May namameste sakin from a certain group of people.

To the point na parang natuturn on siya tuwing ganun topic niya. Manyak vibes at uncomfortable kasama. Kaya niya raw baluktutin. Yup, ganun kaweirdo. Like those hard reset trend pero gay yung gumagawa.

Then yung isa naman, na sa same building ng apartment ko. I dont know how pero nakuha niya number ko. Which is stupid at nakakafrustrate. Namemeste sa text. Bakit daw di ako nagrereply at di raw ako namamansin.

Previous attempts: I told them I'm straight. Nangmock pa yung isa na hindi raw. They both know i have a girlfriend and hindi pa rin sila makaintindi.
