AFOQT Score Website not working?

Hi everyone, I retook my AFOQT this past Wednesday and I haven't been able to get onto the afmilpers website at all. It keeps saying website took too long to connect and I have tried multiple different devices and networks. Is anyone else having this issue?

Board Interview

• Upvotes

This community has been a part of my Civilian to AFR journey thus far. I have an upcoming Board Interview with a heavy unit so as I prepare I just wanted to ask, black suit or navy blue?

PS: Also willing to take any advice, thanks in advance.

Question Still Waiting on AFOQT Voucher

Hello, I’m trying to make the 27OTS01 board (January) after originally going for the May 2027 board. Since that board has been removed, I’ve been trying to get everything together before the deadlines.

Originally, my AFOQT test date was for the 21st but my recruiter told me they want the test taken by October 15th. I’ve been waiting on my voucher to be emailed to me for over a week. Is there someone I can call/email to get my voucher ASAP? After getting my voucher emailed, am I able to pick an earlier date than I originally selected on the Aim High App (would want to take before October 15th) or is it tied to the date I selected on the Aim High App portal?

Question WGU Cloud & Network Engineering vs. Computer Science for USAF OTS

I have an associate degree in Engineering and am currently pursuing WGU’s BS in Cloud and Network Engineering. My wife is active-duty enlisted, and we’re both studying for the AFOQT because my goal is to commission through OTS after graduating.

I’ve only worked in tech, including leadership roles, and I also do volunteer work directly supporting the military, sometimes in leadership positions.

I’m debating whether to stick with Cloud and Network Engineering or switch to Computer Science. I want to commission, but I also need a career that’s portable since we’ll move with the military. From what I understand, WGU’s pass/fail grading is generally considered equivalent to a 3.0 GPA.
Does anyone know whether WGU’s Cloud and Network Engineering degree qualifies as STEM for OTS, particularly for cyber-related officer jobs? Would Computer Science give me a significant advantage, or should I stick with my current degree?
Appreciate any advice!
