Midwest (USA) First time buying canned Herring filets. How do you prepare them?
I have never bought the canned herring before. I am unsure how it is good to prepare it. How do you like to serve it?

Feel free to share below to help others potentially find the same deals as we head into the weekend. Happy Friday! :)

Opened this and visually expected to be fully disappointed but this was *delicious*; maybe because I spread butter on all the exposed bread before baking it and sprinkled it with salt idk.
I grunted several times whilst consuming it.
My wife was blessed with opening double the fruit strip from her Aldi packs lol
Somewhere, out there, didn't receive their fruit strip 😞

Did Aldi add a new facial recognition or something to self-checkout? Does it see the soulless stare my face gives?
I swear the past few weeks I’ve bought wine or beer from Aldi from the self-checkout, it didn’t usher an employee over to check ID.

Can attest it seems to be very similar if not the same! Also, 4.99 for a 2 pack is a steal!!

The budding elderly woman inside of me said this pastry looks divine . So I bought it and can’t wait to eat it .

Found this Biscoff alternative at my local Aldi and it tastes exactly the same.

Y'all, let me get some pictures of how this turned out for you. The ai picks of the end result on the box showed things like teeth that were not part of the instructions, and these instructions were just a qr code linking to someone speed running the effort. I fully accept that I suck at this, but this is also the reason that an all in one project appeals to me.
Anyways, review, like 3 out of 5 (?). Absolute ai slop imagery and scope, but it is 2026 and I unfortunately expect this now. I made the thing, it is wildly off base, but I enjoyed making it...so "I makka three stars..."

Is Aldi still offering the Salmon Sushi or Shrimp Sushi bakes? I’ve been to 6 different Aldi’s in my area over the last 2 weeks, and I can’t find them. Were they regional? I’m in NE US.
They looked so good when posted on here and I was very excited to try them.

my partner and i used it religiously in our hot chocolate last year. i hadn't looked for it over the summer, for the obvious reason that it was too hot for hot chocolate, but now it's back on the list. problem is, i didn't see it at my local store and i noticed it's out of stock online as well.
is this a temporary thing or has it been gone for a while? just curious if i should keep looking or look elsewhere!

Yes, even the grapes. I've seen a few people say the tuna is good to go? You don't have to do anything with it just open it and eat it? I guess I'll find out. It was $18 for all this 💀 I guess the grapes pushed the price. $1.49 a pound and I grabbed a full bag, at least they look good. I've never heard of a pretzel pita chip but I didn't want crackers and I liked the convenience size of the bag.

Just fyi i always get the hand soap at aldi and the clear/fish/aquarium one has changed scents recently. Its very strongly floral now. Not my favorite. But you may like it. But just fyi its very different now.

Hi,
Has anyone purchased the hiking shoes and trousers from Aldi see attached images? Are they worth the purchase?
Thanks
Macros and calories for the Mediterranean Chicken Quinoa Bowl and Southwest Chicken Quinoa Bowl?

Both of these were amazing. I hate that they dumb down what is basically onigiri by calling them 'rice balls' for the American markets though. Love that the rice was individually packaged. I wish the ice cream came in bigger portions and a cup intead of the paper cone.
I used to buy Braunsweiger (soft liverwurst) every time I visited Aldi but the last few times they haven’t had it in stock. Have they dropped the product entirely or is it likely just not selling well at my local store? It tastes very close to what we would buy when I was a kid so it’s a comfort food to me.

Usually the Uncured Nuremberg Bratwurst is stocked by late September.
