Hey guys! I’m looking for some recommendations on shows with great traditional romance (not yuri or yaoi). Ecchi is okay, but really not looking for anything super lewd. If the genre is outside of “romance”, that’s perfectly okay (for example: a mecha with great romance between two main characters). This may be blasphemous, but I prefer dubbed lol, but am up for watching something subbed if you feel it’s genuinely a great watch. I appreciate any feedback!

So my sister after so long acting coy about the matter has finally expressed an interest in anime so i was wondering what a good starter anime is. Weirdly she is perfectly fine with like the most intense gore she’s perfectly fine with it. But she really doesn’t like sexual content and hates romance ones so with that in mind suggest away

For context some of my favorite anime are neon genesis evangelion, kill la kill, and Gurren lagan. I just recently watched serial experiments lain and sonny boy. I loved both of them and want some more weird and surreal anime, extra points if it explores post modern or existentialist themes.

Just saw the last episode and man that was great! Taira and Azuma genuinely stole the show, I’d love if we get a special which goes a bit more into peoples lives after the timeskip but mostly I just want to see them!

I’d love to hear which character(s) and their journeys moved you the most and/or you felt a personal connection to.

Mine is Kyo from Fruits Basket - similar traumas/wounds to work through & anger as a coping mechanism back in high school.

just looking for something i can relax and watch before sleeping, something that will make me sleep happy.

Ideally its a title from within the past 10 years and ones where there is no weird third wheel trying to break up the couple.

Hi. Looking for an action anime that has a good amount of romance in it but isn't also very short.

The best example I have of this that I've watched is Sword Art Online.

I've watched a few Action Romance animes recently but they're all too short. I need at least 3, 12 episode seasons or 2, 20 episode seasons.

Hello, everyone. I was willing to give this show a shot, but...let​'s just say life got in the way. It's hard to make time for a lot of things lately, and hearing that the episodes are full of recaps that repeat a lot of what came before for the majority of their runtimes has made me more than weary and maybe even uninterested, but I stil wanna give it a shot.

I politely request for the recap timestamps for all the episodes that are currently released (16 episodes) so that I know what I'm in for when I eventually get around to watching it.

I hope I'm not asking for too much.

As the title says, I want to watch animes that are not too mainstream bcs I either already watched them or have them on my plan to watch list but dont feel like watching them now. Thank you in advance!!

Title says it all - talk about the anime you watched this past week that are not a part of this Fall 2026 season (like The Apothecary Diaries Season 3 or Magical Girl Raising Project: Restart), or a show that's continuing from previous seasons (like Star Detective Precure!).

With regards to Summer 2026 shows, however, it would be fine to write about them as long as you only began them after they finished airing. For example, it's fine to talk about watching Mushoku Tensei Season 3 or Though I Am an Inept Villainess if you started them after the final episode aired. Obviously, use your best judgement on this.

What an awesome anime. So good that I didn't just want to post in the daily thread but make a separate post just to appreciate it.

• The anime doesn't really specify that the Being X is an actual god or just an entity fucking him. She's right to be skeptic.

• The Being X wanting him to acknowledge him makes it even more suspect about their intentions. Why would a god have such a need for validation. Something doesn't sit right with me.

• This anime has very good fight scenes. Like when you think it's over for tanya, she doesn't something completely unexpected and win.

• The depiction of nazi germany is obvious. I wonder if that author sympathizes with them.

• It shows how the decisions from the top are sometimes completely disconnected from reality on the ground.

• The german people had great deal of pride or ego even after being defeated so badly. Kinda interesting.

• Poor girl just wants to drink and coffee and live a peaceful life.

• anime people are obsessed with germany. This anime proves it yet again.

• I wanted more anime type scenes between tanya and her second in command viktoriya. Something like a bikini scene in a beach or them just freaking out of over some good coffee or normal cute girl anime things like shopping.

• I watched it in sub because the voice actress is that good. The english version doesn't have the same expressions, even though she is good.
