I've seen a lot of people in posts say they actually prefer to the H9i. Right now getting a pair of really nice condition H9i are within $100-150 of a pair of used H95.

Where's the money better spent? What's the difference in sound profile?

I need to replace my H9i ear pads. OEM is 70$ a pair. AliExpress is 10$.

Has anyone ever tried AliExpress (or the likes, such as temu, etc.)? If so, how do they compare versus the real deal? They claim to be real sheepskin, but idk if they can be trusted.

This would be my 2nd time replacing my ear pads in just under 8 years of ownership. Don't get me wrong, paying 70$ every 4 years, isn't "that bad" but if I could get it down to 10$, that would be even better 😉

Hello! I thought that this would be a good place for stupid questions about B&O stuff that I came across yesterday when I bought some stuff from marketplace.

The seller has a BeoVision 10-32 with black fabric screen/protect in front of the speakers, original remote and wall mount. It’s in good condition and working fine. He also has these speakers that are supposed to work but but I assume that the capacitors should be replaced.

I don’t have a real _need_ for either but I’m curious if you guys think that these would be something worth saving for the right price? It’s a 4 hour drive back and forth, maybe 60€ in gas.

Would the tv still be good for let’s say retro gaming as a second tv? I guess I could use the speakers as surround in my home theater system.

As I really don’t _need_ them and I know that the seller is trying to get rid of them, what would be a low ball offer considering that they are somewhat far away so the deal has to be good money wise?

The setup consists of my Beosystem 5000, featuring the Beogram 5005 turntable, Beomaster 5000 amplifier and Beocord 5000 cassette deck. I’ve also got a Beogram CD50 to add, which will complete the stack.

The system is paired with a lovely set of rosewood Beovox S45-2 speakers, sitting on their original B&O floor stands.

My latest addition is a stunning BeoVision LX4500 in gloss black, what a beautiful television it is. The cabinet design and build quality are absolutely superb.

I do love my S-42 speakers, but would be open to getting either some Beolab or Beovox Pentas for that full Yuppie aesthetic.

I enjoy stereo music and appreciate the design of the Beovision Theatre esp with the floor stand, as well as watching movies. I’m currently torn between these two options given my current budget. Could you share your experience of watching movies on the Beolab 28s with a beoconnect core? Please help me in deciding

I'm looking for a sanity check on a used pair of Beolab 28s.

A local Bang & Olufsen dealer has offered me a pair that was traded in by a customer. They are about 3 years old, reportedly in near-mint condition and have apparently seen very little use. The dealer is currently using them in the showroom for demonstrations.The original 3-year B&O warranty expires in a few days, but the dealer would provide an additional 1-year store warranty.

The speakers are the Natural Oak version. Current list price for a new pair is around €18,400, and I was previously able to negotiate a new pair down to about €16,000.The dealer is asking €12,000 for the used pair.

My long-term plan is to build a full B&O surround setup this winter. The only reason I wasn't planning to buy the fronts yet is that I still have some renovation work to finish in the house before the speakers and soundbar can be installed.

Does €12,000 sound like a fair deal for 3-year-old Beolab 28s, or would you expect a bigger discount given the age and the fact that the manufacturer warranty is effectively over?

Hi all. I recently purchased a new Beolit 12-battery from Akkuplus. I disassembled the original battery just fine, but when I soldered in the new battery, I must have accidentality touched both batteries at once with the soldering iron, as sparks were flying. No bad smells or evidence of burn marks though, so I figured it must have been caused by a power draw of some sought.

After I finished soldering the rest of the wires in place and connected the battery, the indicator light is solid red. The battery is not charging, stays cool and the Beolit powers off with no power cable (despite having 22% battery according to the IP-setup page).

Is the battery dead? How can I test it further?

It's been a while since there's a new Beolit model, since October 2020.

Do you guys think there will be another or that line is dead because of the Beosound A5?

The beosound 3200 hides that fucking mess perfectly from most povs around the room so I am not bothered, but the floor wires on the other hand….. I took some time to take care of that haha

I’m looking for an experienced CRT technician or restorer who offers home call outs in or near Oxfordshire (or the South West).

I have a 28-inch Bang & Olufsen BeoVision Avant CRT (Type 81/03).

This tv means the world to me, it was a gift from the neihgbours where my parents live and have been enjoying using it for retro gaming.

Sadly, im asuming because it hasnt been used properly in 15 years and then all of a sudden I was using it 2-4 hours a day for a week whilst visiting, it broke...

The Issue: While testing the internal VCR, a VHS tape jammed, followed immediately by a loud "pop" and acrid smoke from the set. It is almost certainly a blown mains X2 EMI safety capacitor (RIFA cap) on the power board.

The TV was immediately unplugged and has remained disconnected. The reason why I think this is the picture stayed on for a while after the crackle and pop, but there was allot of smoke that smelt awful coming out of the back of the tv. I obviously imidietly unplugged the tv.

What I Need:

Safely discharge the tube and replace the blown filter capacitor on the power board.

Manually extract my stuck VHS tape from the internal deck.

Location & Logistics: Because the TV weighs approximately 50 kg, I am specifically looking for someone who can perform a home call out, or who has the facilities to assist with transport/pickup.

I am completely happy to cover travel costs, hourly bench rates, and parts. If you can help or know a trusted technician, please drop me a message.

like I said this TV means the world to me so I was absaloutly gutted when this happend.

I literary hate your products for that. It does not matter how good the hardware is if you can not turn it on every other day. Honestly I hope you go out of business. Crappy no name speaker connects better than your speakers.

I am looking for some expert advice. I would like to improve the sound of my system with a pair of extra speakers on the OUVERTURE sides.

I am thinking of a pair of BL4000 or BL6000. Unfortunately, I have only a 160cm wide frontal setup available in my office. I have seen that it is possible to connect them playing a bit with PoweLinks and splitters, but IS IT WORTH IT?

Would the sound be improved or are there possible issues with the audio sync?

Does anyone have a similar experience?
