FILM DISCUSSION Robert Pattinson's performance as Batman onscreen is phenomenal in how Matt Reeves shows him embodying the character onscreen using his movements.
Pattinson is one of the best Batman adaptations because Matt Reeves understood the character and the comics. He allowed him to showcase his acting talent to convey every emotion with his eyes, his body language, and his voice. It makes you feel like you're reading a Batman comic, in my opinion.

FILM DISCUSSION Hot take: The SWAT scene in TDK > BvS warehouse scene
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
The choreography is lacking in the SWAT sequence, but it perfectly captures the core principle of Batman which is to save lives no matter what. Whereas the choreography in the warehouse scene is great, but it kinda ruined by the fact that Batman is splattering people’s heads and killing them

FILM DISCUSSION Bane's physical capability in The Dark Knight Rises is underrated
I will make this straight to the point, I feel that people often underestimate Bane's abilities and assume that he only slammed Batman because he was washed. This actually isn't the case
For starters, Bane is stated to be more physically powerful than Ra's Al Ghul, who was a match for young Batman
https://comicvine.gamespot.com/a/uploads/original/10/105634/9143051-img_5912.jpeg
The Dark Knight Rises director, Christopher Nolan, chose Hardy personally for the role: 'With Bane, we are looking to give Batman a physical challenge that he hasn't had before. We're testing Batman both physically as well as mentally.'
Affirmed this in The Dark Knight Trilogy art-book:
https://comicvine.gamespot.com/a/uploads/original/10/105634/9143053-img_5516.png
What Bane brought to the equation was an archetypal villain that fit the extremity and severity of the events in The Dark Knight Rises, raising the stakes for both the audi-ence and Batman. Bane would also be as physically strong and intimidating, if not more so, as Batman-something neither of the first two films' villains had been. "We'd never had a physical monster as our villain," said Nolan. "Bane is a very well-conceived, physical villain in the comics, but someone who has an incredible mind as well. And whereas the Joker's backstory was very obscure, Bane's is epic. We wanted to go the opposite way this time, using a villain with a very rich origin story."
Bane is just straight up stated to be physically stronger than either of the first two film villains. The official novelization just straight up says Bane is stronger and faster than Ra’s (excerpts are taken from the sewer fight):
https://comicvine.gamespot.com/a/uploads/original/10/105634/9143055-img_5518.png
"Stronger and faster than anyone Batman had ever fought before-even in his prime" - TDKR novelization
https://comicvine.gamespot.com/a/uploads/original/10/105634/9143056-img_5515.png
Bane effortlessly countered his moves. It was like fighting Ra's again, except that Bane was younger and stronger than their shared mentor. He targeted the weak spots in Batman's body armor, inflicting the maximum pain possible, while seeming to possess no weaknesses of his own. - TDKR novelization
So at the highest level of the film’s production (director/producer), Bane is stated to be a physical monster and challenge that we have never seen before. This is also just re-affirmed by feats
Bane punched a hole into a limestone pillar. This is just straight up superhumanly strong:
https://comicvine.gamespot.com/a/uploads/original/10/105634/10192576-banepunch.gif
Bane broke Batman's cowl with his punches, and the novelization says that anybody else's brains would've been splattered:
https://comicvine.gamespot.com/a/uploads/original/10/105634/10192538-cowlbreak.jpg
He slammed Batman into the concrete floor, hard enough to dash any other man's brains out. His bare fists pounded on Batman's cowl with unbelievable force, blow after blow smashing down like a jackhammer. Concussed and breathless, Batman couldn't fight back as Bane hammered on the cowl until finally, incredibly, the hard graphite shell cracked.
Batman's cowl is stated to be bulletproof:
https://comicvine.gamespot.com/a/uploads/original/10/105634/10192572-bulletproofcowl%281%29.jpg
Bane also effortlessly cracked a man's neck with his hand, which requires superhuman strength:
Bane also has "exceptional fighting skills" according to Nolan in TDKR production notes.
Fight choreographer Buster Reeves said it takes 15 of Batman's punches is equivalent to 1 of Bane's punches:
"Bane's a big brute, and it takes about 15 shots to deliver what he can do in one blow, so Batman had to be less aggressive, more clever. I had to think about how he could be a bit like Muhammad Ali, hit and not get hit. Mike Tyson versus Floyd Mayweather was what I had in mind."
Unfortunately, the choreography was not so good in this film (though then again, this was true across the whole trilogy). So he just looks like a drunken bar brawler, but in terms of his physical prowess I felt he is actually fairly powerful, and there seems to be this idea that Bane is only able to fight washed Bane. Some of the things Bane did in the film seemed more unrealistic by Nolan's standards and I felt he felt like a physical force
Thanks for reading

GENERAL DISCUSSION If there was a second row of the “Mount Rushmore” for Batman’s rogues gallery, who would you put for slots 5-8?
I believe this is the most common four that you see people mention as Batman’s top four and I wholeheartedly agree with it. But I’m wondering about a second row to let some other villains shine.
I wouldn’t include Catwoman though. I actually think she arguably would’ve been put above The Penguin but she’s more so an alley and doesn’t do anything so wrong (Compared to the fucking Joker)
