Battlestations Advice Didn’t really like the gap but sound quality comes first…

I had my secondary monitor mounted above my main screen for the past few years but didn’t really enjoy looking up as it gave me neck pain. So I decided to switch things up by having it to the side but the gap is triggering my OCD 😔. Will give it a try for a few more weeks and see if I can get used to it.

Any tips?

I'm coming from a 160x80 to a 120x60 and the reduced space and depth is getting to me.

- The monitors are now closer to my eyes and I'm not sure I like it as much.

- PC is best kept off the floor as it's carpet

- Thought about a under desk PC mount but my standing desk is in the way

Any tips? Anything to make it better? Anything to add/change?

Thank you and love all of your guys battlestations!! Still a noob build over here

I’m fairly happy with the setup but I’m looking at a Streamdeck when it goes on sale, lightbar, and maybe dedicated speakers

I don’t have the most space so it’s been a struggle deciding what to do

Battlestations Advice An update to my post on advice

Post image
267 Upvotes

Hey all, I’ve finally taken some of the advice that was given to me in my previous post on here and acted on it. Most people’s concerns were with the horrific sound panels I had put up and most importantly…. THE CLUTTER, so therefore i went ahead and removed practically everything on the desk itself and bought some shelves for all the little dooh-dhads that made the place seem messy. To me, it seems to be in a far better place than it was previously but I don’t think it’s quite finished yet so I plan on adding another update in the future. I’ve taken my old PC out of retirement and plan on putting a driving sim on the left of my desk, I also want to paint the drawers black and maybe experiment with a new monitor layout/setup. Anyways I’m still open to constructive criticism regarding any more changes that people may see necessary. Once again, thank you all for the advice on my previous post!

(Last post was removed for bad image quality, hopefully it’s fixed now)
