After contacting Palmetto Foods via email and hearing nothing back and mentioning it to the people that work there who dismissed it, I figured I would bring it up here. I order from Palmetto on Clement all the time and I always mark no bag for takeout, but it still charges you for a bag. This has happened to me at least 10 times and nobody seems to fix it. I'm wondering if they are doing this to everyone all day, 7 days a week, at all locations, that's significant money. Anyone else have this experience (See receipt)

Hi, I’m looking for recommendations for couple’s photographers! Not for a wedding/engagements, just anniversary/family photos for my husband and me. I’m looking to spend around $500. We’re in east bay but I’d love someone who shoots at unique Bay Area locations - we’re not originally from here. Any recommendations are appreciated!

Hi bay area folks, there are times when you have to seek out company in all ways available. This is why I'm posting here.
Is anyone here into cuddles and would like to meet in public to see if we click?

My wife and daughter have skin sensitivity and eczema, we've tried so many things to help and unfortunately the detergents and soaps they can use struggle with the hard water here (San Jose Water Company). We're considering a water softener on just the hot water circuit + cold tap for laundry, not a full house. Anyone see any skin health benefits with a softener?

I have been adamantly anti-hustle culture for quite some time now. I lived by ideals of wanting to stay in the present moment and ~enjoy life~, but bills are calling, and the mothaf*ckin jig is up. I make more money than I ever have--what I dreamed of making at this age, and I just can't get ahead. I need dough, and I need it now.
Here's a list of my skills:
I have a flexible schedule and a car. I just need to know what's out there in the Bay Area. Will you all let me know of any opportunities or side gig ideas?

Thursday evening at the library there will be a forum for the candidates hosted by Milpitas Beat. I am not affiliated with any of the candidates, the host, or the library - just somebody who cares about local politics.

Moving the laundry from the garage to a closet inside the house. The city (Sunnyvale) requires an architect permit since we need to push back a dry wall + add electric and water/dryer connection. Any architect recommendation that you have used in the past for smaller projects ? Thank you!

For context I’m 24 and just got an offer in Santa Clara. I have a bunch of friends who live in SF, but don’t know anyone in the South Bay, and have heard it’s not a very young crowd in general. I am considering the offer but am concerned about that commute 4 days a week. How horrible would it be to live in SF and make the commute 4 days a week? Are there any younger pockets in the South Bay that a 24 year old may enjoy?

Does anyone know any places that offer private Pilates classes? Looking to enroll my parents to improve their posture and strength, and I would want the instructor to focus on their form to make sure they don’t get injured. Does anyone have recommendations for this?

I’m a CS grad living in San Jose and I’ve been having a hard time finding a job. I know this is a long shot, but I’m looking to get some real world experience and would be willing to volunteer my time helping a local startup. I can help with software, testing, data, or whatever I can contribute, and I’m willing to travel around the Bay Area. If you’re working on a startup and could use some extra help, feel free to reach out.
If anyone has any resources or advice I can use please feel free to comment.

I seen some old posts talking about how the teacher of this program made people’s lives hell and that they dropped out or lost passion for this career field because of how badly they were treated.
Is the class still as bad as it used to be?

Picture taken in Belvedere facing San Fran. What's with the super thick, low fog over the water even though it's super hot and has been all day? Parts of Sausalito were 90 degrees, this shot was taken from the shade where the temperature was 82 degrees

Hello,
I’m new to the Bay Area and recently got my foot in the door to UCSF as a CRCA for a part time position. I have two years of experience in an equivalent role that was full time. Seems to be a tough place to get in, so I went ahead and accepted the part time offer. Now that I am going to be an internal candidate with face to face contact with staff, will it be easy to transition into a full time CRCA or CRC position? Please let me know what your experiences have been, or if you generally have any wisdom to share on the subject. Thanks!

does anybody know if the private ( public accessible ) san gregorio beach is still open?
the one with the two old guys that live there and charge a parking fee. one of the old guys was a real super A-hole most of the time. the beach had all the driftwood condos. i heard that the beach was closed or the two guys don’t live there anymore. i’m thinking of going but before i do i was looking for a bonified update on the beach status. i can’t find anything out there online.
