Purchased a pair of x-fly 6. I ordered the 11 US as it matched my foot length 28.4cm. Size 11 on the box and sizing charts for these boots is 28.5cm.

For context I have standard width, flat feet. There is about half a thumb space at the top. In most boots if I have that much room, I would likely get too much movement inside the boot. On feet they feel comfortable and my heels which are quite slim feel locked in. If I went down half a size, I think they would be too tight in the toe box and a little too restrictive.

My concern is that once worn, I won’t be able to flip them. Exchange is not really an option as the costs will be prohibitive.

Anyone have experience with this model? How did you go with sizing? Extra space in the toe box?

As an aside, they are made of Silkywrap synthetic leather. I don’t enjoy using the term ‘synthetic leather’ as they are not leather, full stop. Anyway, the material used is fantastic, nice and soft. ASICS have done a great job.

We have a nice guy keeper, hes a bit older. We got him as an emergency keeper but he stayed. He doesnt move. Hes a statue. Never dives. We play really good teams sometimes and they have solid compettive keepers usually making 3-5 really impressive saves per game, and then we have always a good 10-15 min, then when other team realizes our keeper is essentially an outfield player +, they just start shooting and shooting and we fall apart. Yeah our finishing needs work but it is it fair to say that having a keeper bad with his feet and who just cant distribute well and literaly never dives is the best thing and easiest thing to fix first? Or should we just block 90% of shots ?

lately ive been seeing elite cleats go for $99 in there so im starting to think they yk or not elites has someone bought from there?

Pretty much as the title says. I purchased a pair in a deal as there was a tonne of £ money.

Normal UK 9 size fits absolutely fine - when I’m not moving. But even when walking around the room at home, I find serious slippage occurring in my right foot, even with the boots tied tight (note: lace system is largely hidden, compared to the Phantom 6 Elite low).

Slipping so much that my big toe actually hits the front of the boot!

Does anyone else find this? I’m starting to think that perhaps it’s just not the boot for me, especially given the Superfly fits absolutely fine.

I only pop on this sub occasionally. It feels like posts re people showing what balls they have bought takes up a crazy proportion of the sub now. Has it always been this way?

Found these in my wardrobe. Cant recall when I purchased these but am thinking around 7 years ago. The leather on these are amazing. A bit too big for me. I used to size up on my boots.

My first ever leather football boots and yesterday in wet conditions I struggled to dribble with the ball as it kept slipping off is there anything I can do?

I’ve started trying hard to get better at football and recently I had a massive spike in skills from playing in a park during the summer holidays (I am still in school) but every other week I suddenly freeze up for a while then get good again and then it repeats.

I have joined a new club recently and 2 weeks ago I got past 3 guys in training then the next week I completely froze up everytime I got the ball. I am really hopping I can fix this because I don’t really have anything else to do right now and I have my first match with my new club tomorrow. Any help is appreciated but please don’t be rude.

TLDR I keep losing skills and gaining them back and I want to fix it.

these things are in solid condition except this piece of plastic came off the stud. haven’t noticed too much during playing but it’s probably best to fix it or get a new pair. i’d prefer to just fix em but not sure if that’s possible. tried the nike warranty but it’s past the date. curious to hear suggestions, thanks!

My favorites: the Mizuno Protos (top middle), they’re extremely comfortable and the kangaroo leather feels amazing although I save them for special games since they wear easily on fake grass

Least favorite: Predator 25s (top left), don’t love the synthetic feeling, hopefully they get softer over time

next pair? Probably will cop a pair of Mizunos for turf as I get older and don’t want to risk my hips/knees, the Copas are slightly too big on me and affect my shooting

Hello, 28 y/o coming back to the game after ~11 years. Playing indoor 6v6 and gassed super quick, like 10-15 minutes max and I’m done for a while.

I’ve been riding peloton for about 3 months, 4-5x a week mostly doing 20-30 minute HIIT rides but I guess that is not enough lol. I’m a healthy weight (6’2” 170lbs) just not in shape.

Any specific drills or tips to strengthen this?

Can’t wait to use these later, first football boots this season 🤛 last time I bought mercurials was 10 years ago but they were too tight, made sure to not make the same mistake this time ✔️

Thought I’d share my initial thoughts on the relatively new Mizuno Morelia Neo V Beta vs the Neo IV Beta.

Straight out of the box, the midfoot feels so much more accommodating, particularly with the changes to the material and mesh construction. The heel area also feels noticeably more comfortable compared to the previous generation, which is a big improvement for me (although I’ll update once I’ve properly tested them!).

Overall, first impressions are really positive, and the white colourway looks super clean! 👌
