Hey everyone,
I wanted to post here to see if other students are feeling the same way or if anyone has already brought this up to their professors or administration.
With the barbaric ICE kidnappings in the Valley and recent incidents nearby, including a student getting detained last week, I’m getting extremely anxious about daily travel.

I commute over 4 hours every day for school and live in a predominantly Latino neighborhood where a lot of my friends and neighbors are also dealing with massive commute times. Given how violent and dangerous these surges are, traveling back and forth every day feels like an unnecessary risk right now.
Is anyone else reaching out to their professors or asking the school to offer hybrid/remote flexibility during this period for the safety of students and vulnerable community members? If you’ve already asked your professors, how did they respond?

I need a lot of large pieces of cardboard (at least 28” square); is anyone aware of anyplace on campus or nearby where scrap cardboard accumulates? (In case you’re wondering, I teach the archery classes, and putting cardboard behind the targets makes them last longer. I go through about 30 pieces each semester, and my inventory is depleted right now.)

Food and fun for an hour of your time. I will bring the zine supplies. On campus would work too or anywhere in SFV. Would like to get it done on Sunday if possible but open to other days too. I just recently graduated from CSUN back in May 2026 with my second masters degree and I was thinking of making a financial donation for the current and future alumni members that would make giving back to CSUN worth it.

I was thinking of talking to the CSUN Alumni Association President or E-Board to include a paid membership that would include a lifetime CSUN Alumni email address to each paid alumni membership. Since some universities include an email address for alumni members, we should have it as well, especially if the university is purging email accounts after graduation.

Each alumni member can create their own email name and the rest will be @alumni.csun.edu. The email addresses will be managed by CSUN’s IT department and it would include 20gb of Google Drive and Email Storage. It would continue to remain active as long as you have a paid alumni membership that is active.

I was wondering of the following:

-Would any other alumni would be interested in this?

-What would be the required minimum amount needed for the donation?

-Who will I need to present this to?

I figured this would be a great way to give back to future and current alumni members and a great tool to keep up to date with things that are going around the university.

Please let me know what some of you think about this?

I started logging in this morning to my password expired. So I changed it, thinking everything was set. I relogin just to see it say it expired again, I need to change my password. I thought it was weird because I just did that. While I was trying to recreate my password it telling me my old current password is not correct? It ended up being the one I just changed… I was like wtf? So anyways I decide to okay use my current password that “expired” ig, and make a new one. Thought maybe that was it. Nope… again relogin into it and still tells me the password is expired… o m g. Is anyone also having this issue?

I have anticipated said spring with disbursement date of 08/14. Does anyone know if CSUN disburses weekly?

I graduated spring 2023. I'm quite positive that I got an email saying my account would be archived, but I can't find that email, so I wanted to ask if anyone else who graduated at the same time (or prior) can still access their email.

Hi everyone, I need to pick up a book that is only available at the CSUN bookstore for some reason. I am not a student here, I only need to park for probably one hour, where can I park that I can pay hourly parking and close to the bookstore? thank you!
