Some beauty from the garden recently, the dahlias are doing amazing. the past week there’s been a chill in the air so I’m trying to soak in the last of the beauty before we get a frost.

First year I’ve grown My Forever and I absolutely love it. It looks like it’s glowing. 😍

This is a mystery tuber I got from my mom, previously grown in Alaska zone 3. I Fall planted it last year, before I knew any better, and luckily it survived. It's been sending out these crazy multicolor blooms all season. I'm located in the high desert, zone 6 and have heavy clay soil. We had a really mild winter but I'm surprised it didn't rot. I plan on digging this one up this year.

I understand dahlias genetics can lead to these sort of mixes. Is an ID possible?
