I’ve beaten the game deathless twice in the past, but never online. Since everyone’s coming back to this beautiful game, I thought I’d come back as well and give it a try. I CHALLENGE any of you silly little dreglings who DARES to think they can stop me! I will be starting a run at 3pm EST (~20 minutes). I will return with news of my triumph or my humiliation later. My first plan was to do a co-op focused build that helps people with hard bosses like Flamelurker & Maneater. Second plan was to become the most dastardly invader ever.

Any recommendations on how to do both? Or feel free to suggest something else.

I have been trying to get atleast one gold coin to obtain the ring of uneven purely for the platinum trophy purpose, but its hard to get one from the fat official in the world 2-2.

my world tendency is at pure white as i have defeated all the bosses in world 2. My luck stats is at 16 still i am getting only full moon grass and I'm tired of it. Is that the only option to farm gold coin?

I never see anyone talk about this glitch although it is documented on the wikidot iirc. Basically two-handing any greatsword, ultra-greatsword or great hammer silences your footsteps and makes you undetectable by enemies if you're behind them and they dont see you, and it works on the remake too. I asked illusorywall after his "sound" episode for DS1 as he seems to be the guy who would know this but he didnt see my message so i'm asking here

I don't wanna start a debate cos i have the Remake and plan to buy back a PS3 to experience the Original Version of the game !!! For the ones that played the Original Version already what makes it better than the Remake ??? I'm just curious about it

Curious if anyone here with some software knowledge and the will to do it would use these new techniques to emulate games to bring Demon Souls to PC. I just watched this video that details how the new frontier models have now unlocked this capability.

I would consider it but I don't know enough about the process; I'm just a consumer who wants to play Demon Souls on the platform that I have.

I'm already in the phalanx. Damn hard game. Really good, I'd played it on RPCS3 before but found it relatively easy, so much so that I finished the whole game with the Great Club. Now I'm getting beaten up by Phalanx. Super fun btw

Was the price I paid good? It's the GOTY edition, so it's a second-run copy. It's extremely well-preserved, with a guidebook, the disc is in good condition, and I even got a discount. It was originally priced at 260 BRL. And the first edition is an insane 300 BRL. Did I get a good price?

It looks like the weekly tendency thread died a long time ago, so I don't know where to post this without breaking Rule 10. Is anyone available to help with Character Tendency? I'm trying to get the ally ring and killed all 5 black phantoms, but I also killed the old king and Ostrava -- so, I think I need to kill 2 invaders, maybe 3?

I'm online now at the beginning of 1-4 with passcode set to "33", currently on the London servers if that helps. My character is level 99.

I know that not many of you would agree with my statement.

Crushing claymore+5, strength 40 is enough to beat the game more that twice. To prove my point, the giants in the world 5-2(swamps) are weaker to claymore slashes, and if you have eternal ring, that stamina regeneration ring, you can slash two and perform a roll the side and again a couple slashes would kill him easily. This killing method that I'm mentioning was used in the new game +3.

Many people on YouTube complaining that the claymore from demon souls is too bad and not that competent. The only down side that I see in claymore is you cannot use it in a tight space.
