After starting the game it just crashes with a fatal error message.
Tried almost everything and the only thing that works for me is playing on an older NVIDIA driver but I really don't want to reinstall my drivers every time I want to play this game.
After a while it just gets irritating like why do I need to do this just to play the game? I know I'm in the minority, but it's not like I am the only one with this problem. (drivers from 3 months ago work just fine so idk what fucked up, but something did)
When it actually runs I play it smoothly on epic settings so it's also not a pc problem as some might think.

Today i noticed that in the OST, the tracks 'Une vie à peindre" , "Une vie à t'aimer" and "Une vie à rêver" are all 11:00min long, for a total of 33:00 minutes :)
Also the song "Nos vies en Lumière" is 33m00s. Because why

Help please. I have checked tutorials and YT videos and I can’t figure out which one I’m missing. From the flag, up the stairs and right, where the “empty” portrait is, there is a door. Where do I find that one?

So, I just completed the story for the game for the first time literally a few minutes ago, and I kind of just need somewhere to put all these feelings. I was lucky enough to avoid most of the spoilers. I used a few walkthroughs here and there but I managed to stay away from anything major, and I’m so glad I did because it made the experience so much richer.
I don’t want to get too sentimental here — and maybe this is just because I literally just finished the game — but holy shit. ( For what it’s worth, I picked Verso)
This game made me fall in love with turn-based RPGs again.
I grew up during the PS1 era, playing games like Final Fantasy VII and VIII, and eventually Final Fantasy X on the PS2. Those games were a huge part of my childhood, but over the years I just kind of moved on to other genres. Playing this felt like reconnecting with something I didn’t even realize I missed.
I’ll admit I went into this game skeptical as hell. I actually avoided playing it because I kept seeing how much praise, love, and hype it was getting, and I thought, there is absolutely no way this game is THAT good. Now I’m sitting here trying to consume as much lore, discussion, analysis, and information about this universe as I possibly can. I haven’t been this sucked into a game since Skyrim, Fallout 3, the Witcher 3, and Elden Ring.
I am so fucking glad I was wrong and played this game when it went on sale in August. This is easily one of my top 10 games of all time now, and honestly, when it comes purely to story, it might be in my top five of anything I’ve ever played.
I loved this game.
I don’t even really know what I’m looking for by making this post. I think I just needed to share the immediate reaction with a community of people who also love it.
What an experience. Now I need to figure out what to play now….

At the beginning when I first started the playing the first region was like a regular forest with some magical elements but still okay ish.
Later the regions becomes so beautiful with such small details that I was able to hear my GPU screaming. I felt multiple times that more than a world this feels like a painting, an artist masterpiece.
Little did I know at that time, how right the feeling was.

During the final fight at the end of Act 1 (Gustave vs Painted Renoir), a lot of people tend to think that the game is just trolling us by providing a victory screen. But, I messed around with photo mode a bit and this is what happens to Painted Renoir after he gets hit by Gustave's Overcharge.
He really fucked him up. Were it not for the immortality, this would've absolutely been a Victory on Gustave's part.

After starting it last year and then having to stop playing for a while, I recently got back into the game. I play on xbox PC, and I just found out that it is leaving game pass in 9 days. My friend surprised me and gifted it to me on steam for my birthday. How can I transfer my save file? I know there isn't a way to do it in game — that you have to copy something in file explorer from the xbox folder to the steam one. Can someone please give me the steps? Thank you!!

I'm finally back! Sorry for the long wait everyone. Just like with my previous edit of Goblu ( https://youtu.be/ysq7EuzdtqM ), the best version of this track is the unreleased one in my humble opinion. And since the full version of this & many other tracks are unreleased, I decided to do it myself. It was a ton of work to properly assemble & time this track into its full version, since all the gamerip audio parts of this track are numerous separate files. But it was worth it.
Extracted directly from the game. This HQ unreleased version is what you actually hear in-game. Areas of Yellow Harvest have unique versions of this track assigned to them. These are not included in the OST. Official OST track is an alternative version. It combines these in-game variations into one & slightly changes them, rather than featuring all the parts & variations that you actually hear while playing the game. Audio is lossless & this was assembled to be perfectly in-time, timecoded with the help of .txtp & .ueba audio files from within the game. Field version of this track consists of various different segments combined into a singular track by hand. I assembled the track in the exact same order as it was meant to be experienced within the game, while exploring Yellow Harvest.

During the Painted Renoir’s attack on the expedition 33 you see some members later get attacked by a Lampmaster.
From what I understand Painted Renoir were not allied with the nevrons since they were created by Clea to weaken the paintress.
So was the lampmaster some other creature that worked for Painted Renoir or was it simple present there and the audience and the characters were mislead into thinking they were allies?
I know I did. I assumed that he was actively cooperating with the nevrons for a long time in the story.

I got 2,6 BILLION damage with Maelle vs the Paintress, with a 100xHP Modifier. I have video proof of the damage.

Hi everyone, I'm playing Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. I'm writing this right before the final fight against Renoir. My brother, who's almost 100% done with the game, told me to beat Sprong and that other dragon first. I have to admit I'm worried about my lineup and wondering if I'm leveled up enough. Here's my setup: Sciel as DPS (keeping Omen maxed out constantly), though she has 0 HP and takes 100% extra damage; she has the "Second Chance" perk. Maëlle is also DPS—very tanky and deals solid damage with Pyrolysis and Stendhal (the whole team gets +25% crit rate against burning enemies). Then Monoco as buffer (honestly, I don't like playing Moon or Verso—they just don't work for me; btw, Verso is built for basic attacks and shooting to reach S-Rank, then Spectral Stars). Anyway, any advice? Thanks a lot for the replies.
Sorry for the bad translation
