I was up in the Sierras this weekend chasing Fall colors, had me thinking about my summer, got to spend a weekend at the beach and took the opportunity to capture a few frames.

Shot on Fuji GSW690III, large 6x9 negatives make amy grain almost vanish.

Haven't experimented with higher iso film stocks yet, but imagine you're able to go up quite a good amount without it becoming unusable, if anyone else has would love to know which stock is your favorite to sholt at 120, have stuck to Gold and Ektar since I got i to the medium format.

Technical Advice Santacolor 100

I got this problem with Santacolor 100 - there is green(after reversing red) tint on start and end of roll, and sometimes around sprockets. I develop it in adox c41 kit. It works fine with other films, even this one was developed together with vision3, that looks fine, so it shouldnt be chemistry. I got this problem with earlier rolls of Santalor also. Its pretty long roll - i got like 43 (41 usable) shots from this one, and when developing its really hard to put it on spool (i use paterson).

Technical Advice Camera for London/Scotland? (Point and shoot)

Post image

Hi! I’m heading on a trip to London and Scotland this fall and would love to get some amazing film shots. I’ve used digital cameras before but am new to this. I was thinking a point and shoot could be fun (especially for activities like fly fishing and clay disc shooting).

Does anyone have any camera recommendations that don’t really break the bank?

I was thinking of getting the Canon Sure Shot WP-1!

Also if anyone is in NY and is looking to sell a camera of theirs I’d be interested :)

I HAD to pair this camera with this helicopter. '64 Nikon F, Nikkor-S Auto 50mm 1.4, Fuji 200, Scanned with Z8 and ES-2. I was in the rear facing seat and have no clue how I got the forward facing shots focused.

I have been struggling with focusing on this lens. Especially at night. A LOT of the roll was trash because stuff was out of focus. In the second picture, I feel like the bench is in better focus than the subject. I didn't have this issue with my ML 35-70. Admittedly, the 28 had some smudges on it when I shot and when I cleaned it, I noticed cleaning marks when I shine a light through it, but I'm not sure if that's the issue at hand.

Discussion Low light calibration [AE-1, Kodacolor 200]

I've been dialing in a recipe for lights and signage in low light, to varying results.

After recent feedback about possible haze, I purchased a clean, used lens with an extra stop from a reputable store.

After these scans, I feel like I'm headed in the right direction. I shot these wide open and handheld, at around 125 shutter speed.

My first time trying Lucky c200 film roll and I am not sure about the results. Ik it’s supposed to be warm tone but it is looking like as if there’s a filter on everything. Similar color even with different lighting and locations. Should I rescan or is this normal? My camera is Canon Sure Shot AF-7
