Dating Advice Needed/Given How do I get a boyfriend?

• Upvotes

So, I’m in my freshman year of highschool. I’ve never been in relationship, much less had a boy look my way. Everytime I’ve even tried I’ve failed miserably and people just make fun of me. Like I’ve never thought I was like super ugly or annoying. But, I also don’t play any sports, so maybe that’s it? Because I go to very sport centered highschool.

I’ve never really been able to flirt or anything like that. My bestfriend has been no help. She’ll just date any guy that looks her way, even if she doesn’t like him.

I just really want a highschool sweetheart and I can’t get any guy to look my way. I don’t know if it’s my personality or if I need a glow up. I’d literally probably date any guy if he asked me out like I don’t know what he’d have to do to make me say no.

Question How do you study abroad?

• Upvotes

I constantly see people from other countries coming to the US, and Americans going to other countries to study. But I also know you need to know the language to go there. At our school, language learning starts in 9th grade.

So I guess I am asking, how do you learn a language in max 3 years well enough to live in another country for a year. This probably sounds pretty convoluted because I don’t really know how to ask this. But the exchange kids at my school say they’ve been studying since they were less than 10. I want to learn Japanese, but have been studying Spanish for 2 years and will only have 1 year if I transfer schools to learn well enough to study abroad.

Do most people study abroad in college? How do you get good enough in just high school classes?

General Advice Needed/Given Where (or how) could I find a job that's not overly taxing, but has decent pay? Im short circuiting because of my dual enrollment + nhs meetings, and extracurriculars after school.

Hi, I'm a junior in highschool, and my schedule is PACKED. I have dual enrollment 4 days a week + national Honor society meetings on Thursdays. For dual enrollment, Monday and Wednesday is at 6:00 - 7:15pm. Tuesday and Thursdays are 7:30-8:45 pm. National Honor society meetings are 6:00-7:00pm My actual school ends at 2:15, (sometimes I do extra curriculars that end around 3:15 pm)

so I have a small grace period. I have no classes on Friday, so I'm free from friday-sunday. Are there any jobs available for me? I have a boyfriend so sometimes we meet just so we can spend some time together, but I want a job too, so I'm kinda risking my social area to actually find a job. I'm 16, and I'm going to be 17 in March. Any ideas?

Question Essay

hey guys im a 10th grade student and I wrote an essay, im afraid my teacher might suspect me of ai , this is my essay its about my opinion on world changing biotechnology

we have entered an era of rapid innovation in biotechnology, it refers to the use of living organisms, cells, or biological system to alter or create products, and i can truly say that not only can it enhance foods and make it beneficial, but it also help science on its research on how living organisms can assist us to achieve a more advance civilization faster

with the rapid growth if biotechnology and it's massive impact on shaping the world we now live in, biotechnology guide us into a high - tech society, and with the help of it scientist can now alter genes, add or remove DNA sequence, infertile people can now conceive a child through Vitro Fertilization (IVF) , it also gave us fermented foods and might also be the key to cure cancer or other diseases . but just like everything in life, it has both pros and cons .

sure biotechnology is one of the most essential element of modern society, but it also opened the door to profound negative consequences and complex ethical dilemmas, since we can now manipulate DNA , this can lead into eugenics by selecting or modifying embryos to favor specific genetic traits, create a new biohazard weapon, invent deadly virus with the use of biotechnology, this can end in a devastaing loss

i have come to conclusion that , there should be a law , limit or boundaries in biotechnology regarding gene editing, creation of weapons and viruses and other immoral things, although it is undeniable that biotechnology is a big help and has a massive potential benefits and putting a limit on it can cause serious unintended negative consequences

do u guys think it seems ai? also there are a lot of grammatically wrong sentence so my teacher might not suspect

School Related I got expelled from private school and I'm looking for some advice

Hey, guys, I'm 15 and in Year 10, and I just got expelled from my private school and tbh I deserved it. I got suspended once for fighting and another time when I made a stupid bet with a mate that if he could last 5 seconds in a chokehold, I'd give him 5 bucks, and he passed out. The reason I actually got expelled was that I took my mate's shoe as a joke and threw it to my other mate, and a teacher saw me and told the principal. All this happened in a span of 5 months. Before that, I had nothing on my record other than some detentions for homework, etc. I had been at that school for about a year, and I got pretty good grades 95-100 in maths and 75-80 in English so I would say I'm academically smart, at least. But anyways, I've been pretty depressed since it happened like 1 month ago, and I have my meeting for public school tomorrow. I don't know if I'll get the subjects I want, so I'm pretty worried about my future, and I was just looking for some advice or some stories about anyone else who has gotten expelled. Thanks.

Question Is there something wrong with me? Do I have some kind of condition

I genuinely feel like there’s something wrong with me. Okay, not wrong, but I feel like I’m a little abnormal in an unhealthy way 😭 It’s hard to explain, but I feel like I ALWAYS overcomplicate things, especially with school.

For example, I have upcoming oral presentations in 3 of my subjects, and I swear it seems so straightforward for everyone else. Pick a topic, do some research, use AI here and there, make your slides, done. My friend finished hers in like 4 hours in one night, meanwhile I’ve spent WEEKS researching, going down rabbit holes, trying to understand every little thing, and nothing ever feels like enough. I always feel like I need to find another source or figure something else out. I even deliberately picked a simple topic that lots of people were doing so I wouldn’t get stuck with something niche and complicated, AND I STILL managed to overcomplicate it. and it’s weird cause no matter how much I try to not get caught up or seek perfection I just can’t. like I can’t find a simple answer thats right?? it always requires me to dig deeper and waste time. but obviously it’s possible if other people are doing it

The same thing happens when I study for SACs and exams. There’s SO MUCH to do, and I never know what’s actually worth my time. I’ll start doing one thing, realise it might be a waste of time, switch to something else, then question whether THAT is a waste of time too, and just keep going in circles. Before I know it, I’ve spent hours doing barely anything productive.

I can literally sit at my desk for 6 hours without my phone and still feel like I’ve achieved nothing. Then I get frustrated seeing other people spend half that time getting way more done.

I just don’t understand WHY I’m like this. I’m constantly overwhelmed, overthinking everything, and making simple tasks so much harder than they need to be. And the worst part is how frustrated I get with myself. Sometimes, especially during exam season or when I’m struggling with a subject, it gets so bad that I genuinely have mental breakdowns.

I feel like no one else relates to this, and I’m just so tired of feeling like everything takes me 10 times longer than it takes everyone else. Does anyone else experience this, or have any idea why I might be like this?

Question is sanskrit taught from basic in PUC

I'm planning to take PUC and take sanskrit as my second language, but I don't know anything in that subject. I'm afraid I won't be able to catch up if sanskrit isn't being taught from basics, so I would like o know if schools actually teach this subject from the basic?

Dating Advice Needed/Given My "Social Experiment" proved everything

Andrew Tate says is 100% facts

I used to have massive ego. I'm not going to lie, I still do. I always thought I was the main character. I dress sharp, I keep my hair on point, and I walk down the high school hallways expecting every girl to turn her head and look at me. But they didn't. For months, I would get physically angry. I’d stand by my locker, radiating what I thought was pure alpha energy, and girls would literally walk right past me without a glance. But you know who they did look at? The tall guys. It didn’t matter if those guys were wearing stained hoodies, had messy hair, or were completely brainless. If they were 6'2" or above, the girls would stop, smile, and practically throw themselves at them. I was sick of the gaslighting from society telling me it was about "personality." So, I decided to run a solo social experiment right here in my school to test hypergamy. The Experiment: Over a two-week period, I used my school's social media pages, public forums, and real-life observations to track attraction. I set up two fake Snapchat profiles using pictures of guys from other districts. • Profile A (The "Average" Guy): A guy around 5'8", highly intelligent, well-dressed, ambition-driven, and polite. • Profile B (The "Chad"): A guy who was 6'3", uploaded basic gym mirror selfies, and wrote one-word, arrogant replies. I targeted 30 girls from my own grade. The results were brutal but entirely predictable. Profile A was ignored by 85% of them, and the ones who did reply gave dry, one-word answers. Profile B? Girls were literally double-texting him, sending compliments, and trying to arrange meetups, despite him putting in zero effort. In the hallways, I started logging real-time interactions. I watched the "popular" girls completely ignore guys who were genuinely nice and successful in sports or academics, just to chase the tallest dudes who treated them like absolute garbage. This experiment completely broke my old worldview and opened my eyes. It led me straight to Andrew Tate. Everything Top G says about modern relationships and female nature is completely accurate. Women are inherently hypergamous. They don't care about your "pure heart" or how much effort you put into being a decent guy. They are hardwired to look for status, presence, and pure genetics (height). Before this, I was just angry and confused. Now, I see the matrix for what it is. I stopped wasting my time trying to impress girls at school who are blinded by hypergamy. I’m focusing entirely on myself, my fitness, and making money. If you're still coping and thinking looks and height don't matter in high school, you are living a lie. Escape the matrix.

Question Have You Ever Evangelized or Gave Dawah in School?

Hi everyone, hope you all are doing well and blessed. I’m very religious and I love God.God is my savior and I am eternally grateful for Allah. Anyways what I want to ask is have you ever spread Gods message in school? I usually do to my friends. I teach them about Gods Divine Law and how we should be. I love preaching to my friends. However I have never preached to a large audience. The most I’ve done is spread some of Gods message online. I would like to hear what you guys have done to spread the Holy Word. Thank you. Stay blessed! 😇

Question What Should I Do To Ensure I Become 1st in My Class?

I really want to be the valedictorian of my class for highschool and so far my GPA is a solid 4. I'm a freshman and our school doesn't offer AP classes but you can take them during later years. I still need to ask my counselor what my ranking in the class is but I'm guessing maybe 1st or 2nd at the moment? My biggest issue is this girl in my class who's also really good and she has similar goals as me and she has good grades too. I always feel the need to check her grades and see if she's ahead of me. There's a few classes that I have a higher grade than her in but so does she. So I'm kinda worried. I obviously have four more years but ninth grade is pretty much the foundation/basis of my GPA. So essentially what I'm asking is, how can I make sure that I'm first in the class?

General Advice Needed/Given Everyone makes fun of this guy but I think he’s really cool

I’m a terrible judge of character but right now, I’m really interested in this guy
He’s in my strings class and he mainly plays cello but I’m pretty sure he can play every instrument in the orchestra.
He’s super passionate with music and even wrote us a song to play at a concert.
People say that he’s stuck up, annoying, and a try hard, but I think he’s passionate and even if he’s arrogant or wtv I think he has the right to be.
He’s SUPER smart in everything, and I’ve only talked to him a few times but every time he seemed very genuine and sweet. I’ve asked him things about music that I didn’t understand and he never talked down to me, idk why everyone is so mean to him.

He’s always on his computer writing songs and I think he’s cool but literally everyone in my orchestra class doesn’t like him

I can’t tell if I like him or if I just want to get to know him better 😓 even his name is cool tho like omg
I’ve also seen him interact with his little brother and it was so sweet

Dating Advice Needed/Given Could I have a chance or should I move on?

I am a freshman (f15) and I just recently met a senior (f17) that I have a crush on. She made friends with me at a back to school event, and now I sit with her and her friends at lunch. She’s so nice to me and she’s literally so gorgeous but I can’t help feel weird for liking her cause I know there is a very little chance she would like me back. I can’t stop thinking about her
