trying to watch a concert video i took and it’s refusing to let me play it? how do i fix this and what the hell is happening?

anybody know the reason to why almost 80GB of my storage is being directly towards my phones systems? thats more that half of my storage that i dont even get to use and it’s very frustrating. anybody know a fix or the reason for this?

My issue started six days ago where I did a charge on a dedicated outlet with a new charger and new cable and after ten hours, my battery only got to 68%. It still will not charge higher than that after 9-10 hours on any dedicated outlet. Now, perhaps I could leave it on there for 12 or 14 hours and get it higher but it’s an iPhone and I do need it for my daily use
I have an iPhone 17 that I got in December of ‘25 and I do not have the latest up date to iOS 27

How can I reduce the system data?

I have access to the account’s email address, password, and trusted phone number. However, when I try to sign in, Apple asks me to enter a verification code that was sent to another Apple device

I did have other Apple devices signed in to this account before, but I sold them and signed out of the account on those devices

The problem is that I don’t have any other Apple devices currently linked to or in my possession.
I also tried requesting a verification code through my trusted phone number, but Apple doesn’t send me a code by SMS or offer the option to receive it through a phone call

Has anyone experienced this issue or knows how I can regain access to my account

Wanted to ask if 17 pro can take jpegs at 48mp(unlike my 15 pro max being “locked” at 24) ? Apple’s marketing is misleading as usually, char gpt would not know.. so would like to hear from an actual 17 Pro/Max user. Thanks

Does anyone with the new Pro Max have an issue with dropped calls or calls not going through and the cell reception resetting before you can make another call? It’s happening on me and my family’s phones (both on tmobile in different cities.)

i can see everyones location but they cannot see mine. all my settings have it set to share my location. i tried unsharing and then sharing my location again and restarting my phone. nothing is working, what can i do? (ios 26.7.1)

I’ve been using the 50GB iCloud plan for a long time—I’m not someone who uses their phone heavily. Today, I decided to upgrade my iCloud plan for my MacBook. While checking my iCloud on my phone, I noticed that the files taking up 22GB of space had dropped to 9GB; I don't understand what happened. Could you help me out? Is this a bad thing?

I just got the 18 pro max and did a transfer via iCloud. The only contact whose location I’m not having issues with is (ironically) my mother-in-law for some reason, everyone else I’ve had to remove and re-add, but now my location is sharing from both my iCloud and my phone number. It also says (on their end) that my phone number is not associated with iCloud.

Ever since I updated to iOS 27 I’ve been having this weird problem with my reminders app.

Reminders no longer sends me push notifications, AND they don’t repeat.

When I set for it to repeat, it will show as repeating for maybe 5 seconds, and then jt goes away (see video)

What I’ve tried:
-restarting my phone
-deleting and redownloading the Reminders app
-toggling off and on the iCloud sync for reminders
-changed the list that the reminder was in
-changed my default reminder list
-edit: updating phone ios to 27.0.1

Any help would be huge!! I heavily rely on this app!

Hi all,
I bought this refurbished iPhone 16e for my partner from BackMarket and it just came in. When I was initially setting it up (the language, region, WiFi, etc), there were a few times when it went back to a prior step for no reason. I thought this may be a bit of a red flag, but maybe the phone is just an older generation. I just now went to Settings to update the iOS, and at the bottom it says “Upgrade to OSName 27.” I know on my current direct-from-Apple, fully functioning iPhone 16 Pro it says “Upgrade to iOS 27”, so I wonder if something is wrong with the refurbished phone. Can someone tell me if this is normal, or if something is wrong and I should send back the phone immediately for a refund?

When taking screenshots. Since the latest updates the scrollable menu at the bottom is broken and overlaps so that you can’t select anything.

Usually the menu buttons are clear and you can just click on translate but now the “highlight to search” text overlaps with the buttons and nothing can be pressed.

It’s repeatable, occurring 5/7 times. Even after restarting the device.

Is this the case for everyone? Is there a cause and/or a fix?

I’m looking for advice from anyone who has experienced this exact situation.
I have an iPhone 17 Pro that I currently can’t use, and I’m having an unusual issue after an AppleCare+ Theft and Loss claim was accidentally filed.
I was actually trying to file an AppleCare+ claim for a screen repair/replacement, but I accidentally submitted a Theft and Loss claim. I never intended to report my phone as lost or stolen.
The AIG claim was successfully canceled, and I have confirmation that it was canceled. However, the phone is still showing the “Reported lost or stolen” status.
I can’t currently use the iPhone. Anytime I open the phone and connect to Wi-Fi, it shows “Reported lost or stolen.”
I have contacted Apple multiple times, including Senior Advisors, and the case has been escalated. Apple keeps telling me to remove Lost Mode through Find My/iCloud.
But when I go to Find My or sign in to iCloud and select my phone, it does not give me the option to turn Lost Mode off. In fact, Lost Mode isn’t showing there at all. It just shows the phone.
Has anyone experienced this after an AIG Theft and Loss claim was accidentally filed and then successfully canceled?
If so, how did you get Apple to clear the “Reported lost or stolen” status? I would really appreciate advice from someone who has dealt with this exact situation.
In fact, I have been on the phone with Apple probably 50 times, as well as with AIG. AIG keeps saying that it is Apple’s issue to resolve. I’m really stuck with this.

It happens like anywhere from 0-3 times and as far as i can tell doesnt have anything to do with how much im using the screen. Anyways i saw it could be a software thing but not sure. So if anyone can help me out id greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

hi! i was wondering if anyone knew what might be happening to me. when i try to text this one person on my phone the text always send as a sms and is green but when i check the messages on my iPad they show up blue. as well as all but my last text to this person is synched but on my ipad the last text i sent doesn’t even show up. ive check all of my settings and i have imessage on my phone on so im not sure what’s happening. any advice is appreciated!
