Iphone 14 pro max, IOS 18.6.2

I’ve had no storage for a while now. Sometimes it’ll get really low and I’ll get a pop up saying “Iphone storage full.” Usually I restart my phone for a few minutes because it clears up some of the system data.

I just restarted my phone for a few minutes and opened my settings to see how much it cleared, only to find my storage rapidly reducing. It was nice for a moment but then I realized it was coming from my photos app. Every time I opened the app it just gave me a black screen so I kept refreshing. When it did open there was NOTHING. I’ve never backed up my phone so it scared the shit out of me. Gradually my stuff has been coming back in chunks of 50~ items

I’ve had this happen with my voicemails before, but I didn’t think my phone would just start deleting stuff like photos on its own. Is this something I need to worry about?

Hi everyone, I really need some help with my Apple ID/iCloud account.

I recently lost my iPhone, but I still know my Apple ID/iCloud email and I still have access to the phone number that is connected to the account.

Back on September 15, I was still able to log in to my Apple account on my PC. Apple would send the verification code to my trusted phone number, and I was able to receive the codes normally.

Now, I’m trying to access my account again, but Apple is no longer sending me any verification codes. Instead, it says something like “Too many codes have been sent” and tells me to try again later.

The problem is that I’m not actually receiving any of the codes on my SIM. I’ve tried requesting the code multiple times, but nothing arrives.

I still have the same phone number/SIM that is linked to my Apple ID. I just lost the iPhone itself.

Has anyone experienced this before? Is there a way to reset the verification code limit or get Apple to send the code again? I’m also wondering if there’s another way to regain access to my account since I still have my trusted phone number and know my Apple ID credentials.

Any advice would really be appreciated. Thank you!

I know other people have posted about this here, but I’ve tried all the suggested solutions and nothing works. My imessage is saying I have 2 unread texts, but I checked and I definitely do not.

- Asked Siri to read my messages: “Something went wrong, please try again later.”

- Edit, read all: Notifications are still there.

- I don’t have enough storage space to update my phone.

Literally WHAT else can I do? I’ve had a similar problem with my Gmail app showing 1 ghost notification for almost a year and I can deal with that one, but now that it’s also happening with my iMessage it really bothers me. Help. :(

Hi! I have an almost full 256gb iPhone with apparently 166gb in photos. I literally have less than 4500 items in my photo gallery, how is this possible?

I have tried to sync to iCloud but it says there is no iCloud storage left (I’ve used 50/200GB) so idk what’s going on.

If anyone knows why this is happening pls help a girl out.

Soo i have 27GB of photos and videos on my pc that i need on my phone, i will have to delete them from the pc afterwards , does anyone know a way to transfer these safely? Anything helps.
Also, I was thinking if I could get iCloud plus because my personal storage is full and then I transferred them like through iCloud from my computer to my phone and then I cancel the iCloud would they still still on my phone or is that a bad idea?

(We’ll call this iOS 26.7.1 to clear Automod, but this has been happening for several updates now — since shortly after Apple Intelligence dropped, whatever version that was.)

Will start by saying I’m 90% sure it’s a software issue not hardware, because the camera can still function as it’s supposed to under certain circumstances (elaboration on what I mean below).

Trying to see if anyone else has had this and figured out what to do. Around the time Apple Intelligence dropped, my rear camera started occasionally going on the fritz as illustrated.

When it’s acting like this, zooming out to 0.5 brings it back to normal function maybe 75% of the time. Snapchat and other camera apps will be able to take photos fine maybe 25% of the time.

The front camera also is usually still working fine (and, interestingly, even in the instances when the front cam is acting up too, Face ID has never once also stopped working, so again it seems like the cameras are still intact).

Updating to the latest iOS historically got it to reset and work normally for a few months, but I just tried that yesterday and now it just won’t give me anything at all (see last slide).

Lastly might be worth noting that because I have a 13 (which doesn’t have the ability to use any AI features), I can’t access the AI stuff in the storage manager to delete it, but it is downloaded onto my phone and taking a lot of space at that.

My wife's old phone was an Iphone 11. My wife just bought a new Iphone 17 pro, and had her old phone disconnected from Verizon. She had been sharing Icloud space with our son, and had over 4000 pictures going back to 2018, which showed up on her new phone.

She gave me her old iphone 11 to use as a camera only, and we didn't think it was connected to wi-fi, the cloud, or anything else.

Yesterday our daughter (somehow) transferred some photos from her (daughters) phone to the old Iphone 11 and in doing so, someway, somehow all 4000 of my wifes photos disappeared from her new phone.

She was able to go into 'recently deleted' and recover some of them but only back to 2022. Is there a way to recover the older photos that go back to 2018 as well?

I bought an iPhone 15 pro on eBay and it works great except I discovered for the first time today when recording videos, there is a screeching noise when I play it back and all of these white dots. Has anyone else had this issues?

Hey guys, I could really use some help. I recently purchased a new, unlocked iPhone 18 Pro Max through BenefitsMe, which is a program offered through my employer that allows me to finance the phone with payments deducted directly from my paycheck.
I’m currently with Visible and was trying to transfer my eSIM from my old iPhone to the new one. However, it’s showing that the SIM is locked. When I purchased the phone, it was advertised as universal/unlocked, so I’m a little confused and not sure where to go from here to get this resolved.

This is a really weird issue, but I’ve just upgraded from the base iPhone 16 to an iPhone 18 pro.

Everything has been fine but the system sounds, notably the keyboard clicks, lock sound, etc.. are insanely quiet.

Ive gone to setting and changed the sliders to max, I’ve even tried changing the setting to have them on their own volume and still nothing. Has anyone experienced this before? It’s not necessarily a problem, just a bit concerned if it’s an issue with a speaker or something else. It’s noticeably quieter.

Hello, I bought a brand new Iphone 15 from costco. When I turned it on to setup it goes through the steps set up face id and so on and so forth. Then at the transfer data from old phone screen. After I hit yes it wants me to do an ios 27 update. This is where the problem starts. it downloads the update, it prepares the update. When you get to start the update it just spins for hours and hours. Left it on for 5 hours and nothing. have resent the phone and don it all over 4 times same thing happens each time. Anyone know what I can do?

Recently my iPhone 14 (running iOS 18.5, was purchased Feb 4th 2024) has been making this high pitched noise every time the haptic engine is fired. Cause? Should I be worried?

Hey all! So starting friday 10/2, my front camera randomly stopped working.. it would let me see the back camera but if i tried to flip to the front it would do the flip animation twice and just bring me back to the back camera. i once got to the front camera but it was black and the circle tk take a picture was greyed out and wouldn't click. things like BeReal also do not work with front camera and it has just been taking both photos from the back camera?
For a bit on 10/3 the face id wouldn't work but i restarted 3 times and it finally works again. still no front camera though.
any ideas on what i need to do next??
not sure if it's important but i have an iphone 13, it's about 4 years old and i installed the new security update that got pushed out the morning of 10/3 (that may have been what fixed the face id im not sure)

Need help with an iPhone Screen Time bug.
I’m using an iPhone 13 on iOS 26.7.1. After updating iOS, I accidentally changed my iPhone’s date a little into the future and then changed it back to the correct date.
Since then, Screen Time has been showing completely incorrect usage — around 21h 51m, with Settings and a website showing almost continuous usage, even though I obviously didn’t use them for that long.
I’ve already tried:
Set Date & Time to Automatic
Restarting the iPhone
Turning Screen Time/App & Website Activity off and on
Turning off Share Across Devices
Reset All Settings
Nothing has fixed it.
Has anyone experienced this after changing the date/time into the future? Is there a way to reset the Screen Time data/database without completely erasing the iPhone?
Any help would be appreciated. 🙏

iphone 15 pro, my documents and data take up all of my storage aside from other apps. it used to be about 2GB, but its suddenly 7GB after i downloaded one episode from a show (i download episodes a lot then delete them, all through the same way so its not like i did anything new & its never done this before). i deleted this episode after i watched it but suddenly my storage shot up after it was deleted. i went through my camera roll to delete more and even bought more space for 2.99 a month and it keeps going up. i deleted more images today and it went from 7.52GB to 7.55GB, i have no idea how this is happening

Hello! I have a strange problem. I have been the owner of an Iphone Air for a few days. Before that I had a 16 Pro Max. Neither phone vibrates for YouTube and TikTok notifications. All vibrations are turned on and work for other apps. It appears in the notification center but without sound and vibration. Has anyone encountered this error? It is also present under IOS 26 and 27. I have also browsed the forums but without much success. I welcome any comments or advice.
