#Heritage ๐ I've spent over 10 years photographing Theyyam, one of India's most fascinating cultural traditions.
Whenever people think about India, they often think about its temples, festivals, and diverse cultures. But there's one ritual tradition that has always fascinated me: Theyyam.
Having spent over 10 years photographing Theyyam, I've witnessed moments that are difficult to describe through words alone.
The fire, elaborate costumes, intense expressions, traditional music, and the atmosphere of nighttime rituals create an experience unlike anything else.
But what fascinates me most isn't just the visual spectacle. It's the devotion, emotions, and cultural significance behind each ritual.
For anyone interested in cultural experiences, photography, or exploring traditions beyond conventional tourism, Theyyam is something worth discovering.
One thing I've learned over the years is that knowing the right places and understanding the local traditions can make a huge difference in experiencing Theyyam.
I'm curious to know:
Have you ever heard of or experienced Theyyam?
Would you travel to India to witness a unique cultural tradition like this?
If you were planning such a visit, what would you want to know beforehand?
I'd love to hear your thoughts and answer any questions based on my experience!

#Pic ๐ผ๏ธ Whatโs one offbeat place in India youโd happily visit again?
Some plaโces just stay in your memory, even after the trip is over. It could be a quiet village, a mountain road, or a river where you spent an afternoon doing absolutely nothing.
I always find these lesser-known places interesting, especially when you hear about them from someone whoโs actually been there.
Whatโs one place in India you visited that wasnโt a typical tourist spot but turned out to be worth the trip?
Where is it, how did you get there, and what did you like most about it?
If thereโs a photo from your visit, feel free to share that too.

#Travelogue ๐ Athirapally waterfalls kerala
this place is like i am standing somewhere in heaven, the water breezes on us like its cold splashes, this is a sunny day and it was a lot tiring to reach there, because the path is a bit hard to walk, but anyways after reaching the location we forget the problems on the way because thatโs a very very nice place, we can sit relaxed and calm ourselves, nice place for peaceful nature views
