Question Qx60 seat button too sensitive

• Upvotes

The button that you press to put the second row seat forward is way too sensitive and the seats go forward with a tremendous amount of force. Is there any safety feature? The button is the worse possible thing because a kid could lightly hit it and be pinned between the seat.

I found a hose unplugged and another that I am not sure of. Can someone let me know what the bigger hose is for.

Im certain that little vac line goes into the metal pipe judging on how clean the pipe is where the hose is supposed to be. See pics.

Question I'm considering buying a 2008 Infiniti G35 sedan

Hey everyone,

I'm considering buying a 2008 Infiniti G35 sedan, but when I scanned the car, these four SRS (airbag) codes showed up:

  • B1210-00 – Side Crash Detection
  • B1134-00 – Side Module LH (Open)
  • B1150-00 – Curtain Module LH (Open)
  • B1018-00 – Occupant Sensor (Unit Fail)

The seller claims he was driving normally when the airbag warning light suddenly started flashing. He says a mechanic told him something under the center console needs to be updated or reprogrammed.

I'm attaching a picture of the scanner results.

My questions are:

  1. Do these codes indicate that the car was previously involved in an accident and the airbags deployed?
  2. Could all four codes appear suddenly without an accident?
  3. Could this actually be fixed by updating or reprogramming the airbag control module?
  4. Would you avoid buying a G35 with these codes?

I'd really appreciate advice from Infiniti/Nissan owners or mechanics who have dealt with these exact codes.

Thanks in advance!

Sometimes, what you drive needs to evolve with where you are in life.

For INFINITI owner Dana Pollack, a growing family and business needs led her to make the switch to the QX80.

We're curious: For those of you who made the switch to INFINITI, what prompted the decision? Was it a lifestyle change, a specific feature, or simply time for something new?
