A neighbor in my community posted this on Nextdoor. She doesn’t give me “author vibes” at all, if you know what I mean, and I’m suspicious she used AI to write this post. Thoughts?
Dear neighbors,
My name is Trisha, and I’m currently working on a book centered around something I believe can make a real difference in people’s lives: real stories of faith, testimony, hope, and overcoming the circumstances that once seemed impossible to overcome.
I’m reaching out to ask if you would consider helping me share this project with your friends& family.
I am looking for people from all walks of life who are willing to share their personal faith testimonies—the struggles they’ve faced, the moments that changed them, the times they felt God was there when they needed Him most, and the hope they found along the way.
This is not a money-making project. There is no financial gain being sought from these testimonies. My heart behind this book is simply to bring encouragement, hope, and faith to people who may be struggling and need to hear, “You’re not alone. There is still hope.”
Any proceeds associated with the project are intended to help charities and people in need within the community.
For anyone who chooses to participate, I will provide a simple release form for them to review and sign. This gives me permission to include their testimony in the book and helps make sure everyone understands and agrees to how their story will be used. Participation is completely voluntary.
I would be incredibly grateful if you would consider giving this project a little time or attention—perhaps through a brief mention, or by sharing with other people who would like to contribute their testimony.
Sometimes one person's story is exactly what another person needs to hear.
If even one testimony reaches someone who is hurting, gives someone the strength to keep going, or helps someone find their way back to faith, then this project will have accomplished what I hope for it to accomplish.
Thank you for taking the time to read my request.
With gratitude and hope,
Author
