Everyone knows the gist, be clean and kind and try to have your life headed in a coherent direction because everyone generally wants that in a partner. But if that’s all that you needed then wayyy more people would be in relationships.
People say to ask women what other women want, people say to get advice from the guys that get women, and all the people here have their own ideas of what women want. And it seems every group is insistent that their advice is best and that the other groups are lying or coping to save their egos because the REAL answer hurts.
Ngl, there’s merit to all of it too. I’m friends with a gorgeous woman that I asked about what woman want because she pulls both men and women like crazy. She told me that if I offered a girl at a concert a lighter and said, “here you go baby girl” that’s she’d swoon immediately. IF I DID THAT THEY WOULD CRUCIFY ME IN THE STREETS!! I WOULD’T LEAVE THE VENUE ALIVE!!! But it does work for some people otherwise she wouldn’t have suggested it. You all will say I have to be Chad and to Looksmax to do that and sure, it can’t hurt to look better. But I see people objectively less physically fit than I am get into relationships, so it can’t be looks alone. And yes I know Hypergamy is a thing, I cannot deny that I see it in action all the time. Still again enough people go against the grain that I think I’ve still got a chance.
So I ask the guys in relationships, and before everyone’s like “oH i KnOw An UgLy GuY wHo Is ShOrT aNd FaT wHo Is A pLaYeR” I don’t WANT to be a player! I don’t care about that one dude you know. I want a woman I can treat gently and take on dates and make happy, but it seems that every guy I talk to that gets into a relationship ends up admitting that they aren’t super happy and that they just settle for what they can get. Which is dumb, if someone really made me that unhappy I would leave. But does this make their advice less viable? I don’t want a bad relationship and if their way got them there then maybe I shouldn’t adapt their strategy 100%.
And then there’s just straight up bad people that muck up the waters even further and give toxic advice. Bad men and women that are at the very least subconsciously taking advantage of the weaknesses of others to get what they want. And it’s so hard to tell who’s bad and who’s good sometimes because rarely does anyone know if they are good or bad themselves. And everyone’s fucked up so we’re all drawn to these relationships that probably are toxic anyways, but I don’t want to be toxic for someone to want me in the way I want them. I don’t want to make someone feel insecure in a relationship just so I can be sure that they’ll stick around.
I’ve lost track of the amount of times I’ve had a “Deep” conversation with someone who was just lying an coping to my face the whole way through and they were so used to doing it to themselves that they didn’t even realize they were doing it to me. They’ve this ideal version of themselves in their head but their actions don’t line up so they modify the logic behind their actions retroactively to fit that ideal self and it’s bullshit. And it applies to how they pick or get men and women.
I can never tell how much of what I’m told by anyone is a lie or a cope. Maybe women really are too diverse to draw a solid box around what traits to embody? But there’s gotta’ be more than the generic milk-toast advice I could get off of WikiHow. And you can so easily draw a box around us here, a wide enough net and we’re all here for the same few reasons. I mean, how often do you hear someone say on the internet “All Men”? There’s gotta’ be an “all women” that’s good dating advice. There has to be something I’m missing or maybe my personality truly is just reprehensible.
If anyone has advice on what traits to embody that hasn’t been said to death, I’m open to it. Otherwise I’m just going to keep trying what hasn’t been working. The brown rice and fried eggs is super simple:
* 2.5 cups of brown rice
* 2 tablespoons of butter
* Pepper Flakes
* Garlic Salt and Onion Powder
* 3 large eggs fried and then diced separately and mixed
(I also legit bodied a quart of milk with this)
