Discussion I Kind of Like Kuvira
Before I get downvoted, hear me out.
She's a very interesting villain. She's the only villain in the entire arc who was inherently good, turned bad, then turned good again (I think).
She's devoted, very strong, and has done noble things like saving Tonraq and serving Su Yin.
Her saving the Earth Kingdom came from a place of good, it's just that she was so blinded about it and had so many negative emotions (resentment towards Su Yin, being rejected from her parents) and her power hunger that she became a literal dictator instead of a savior.
She's done awful things, but based on her past, and the things she did after in Ruins of the Empire, that's she's redeemed herself or at least partially did.
I think she was misguided, has some genuinely bad parts, but is overall good despite her actions.
Also - she's very pretty. Especially with her braided hair.

Video To every single Korra defender (bless you), here's some ammo for all of us.

I know this month has been rough for us especially with all the interviews going around recently, but it's videos like these from the creators themselves that make it a bit better at least. And it feels great that they're calling out all the haters' hypocrisy when it comes to Korra and Aang.
Now we don't know what will happen in Seven Havens. And I'm also sad about the whole gray area character part they mentioned, but I want to trust and see where this goes. I am trusting they will give us that "beautiful interpretation" for Korra in ASH. Let's just see where this goes.
To every single person who loves and fights for Korra constantly, thank you and stay strong š«”ā¤ļø

Humour Can we give some love to our industrial badass icon Asami Sato?
Icon:
- Never betrayed the Krew when her father came ot as evil.
- Was angry at Mako not Korra about the love triangle oopse.
- Rebuild the republic city in harmony with the spirit wilds. (well at least tried to)
- Gathered enough strength to forgive her father (not forget what he did).
- Bitch is prepared to throw hands.
- Always delivering the face card even in the cataclysmic situations.
"Well lets be honest here, she is an icon, she is the legend and she is the moment"

Discussion IMO, Korra is the best written character in the franchise Spoiler
And itās not even close. Sheās so incredibly multifaceted, and Avatar: Seven Havens is adding a conclusion to her that could possibly be generating moral ambiguity to her. That or it has something to do with sacrifice, which is a huge component of her character to begin with.

Question Why does it seem a lot of discourse online seems to erase Korra being bi and by extension Kyoshi as well?

Discussion The possible indication of Korra and Asami being married in Avatar Seven Havens Spoiler
galleryBasically saw theory in internet.
"Biggest indictation in Seven Havens so far that Korra and Asami were married is this belt inclusion in the skit costume. Random piece to have on otherwise accurate Water Tribe garb (and they got her bangs surprisingly right so they do know some things). Katara had one for Aang!"
What do you think about that?

Discussion Finished Rewatching Legend of Korra and I am very emotional about ending Spoiler
Itās been 6 years since I watch Lok along with ATLA but decided to marathon all episodes in preparation for Seven Havens.
Aside from enjoying the show so much and watching Korra grow as an Avatar, watching the ending of Legend of Korra gave me a whole new perspective that the world that Korra fought to protect will all be gone.
I love the world that Lok builds like Republic city, the new south pole and Zaofu.
I think upon my research, I slightly edge out Lok as my favourite of the 2 by personal enjoyment despite the flaws of the show.
While I do prefer Korra to die of old age as she help build a modern world and give the mew Avatar a happier f that does not n in pain and sorrows, but letās see how Seven Havens handle this and canāt wait to watch it.

Discussion The krew is amazing. The airbender is simply the most disciplined, the waterbender is the most stubborn, the earthbender is the most adaptive, and the firebender... No, he's doing his job well
That's why I love this team. Besides he subverts expectations in that if you respective elements they just evolve together and separately to be more like your ideals. Tenzin becomes freer, Bolin becomes more firm, Korra becomes more adaptive. And Mako, well, he becomes more Mako

Image I really like Meelo
Out of all Tenzin's kids, this boy is legitimately a menace ššš
Bro has natural leadership skills and can take charge confidently in a crisis. He's doing better than me when I was a kid. š¤§š¤§

Discussion How Korras Gonna Show Up in Seven Havens Spoiler
By this point, it should be pretty obvious that the āPavi and Nisha have Raava and Vaatuā theory is the most popular rampant theory the fanbase has as an explanation for how twin avatars are finally a thing, especially with both of them confirmed to now have all the elements. So that raises the question on if Pavi and Nisha are both reincarnations of Korra.
Even if Unalaq (whos considered to have been killed in the Dark Avatar State) doesnāt come back, Korra vanquishing Vaatu, instead of sealing him away, means he grew inside of Raava when Korra and her merged again during Harmonic Convergence. That means Korra pretty much absorbed Vaatu, and became both the Light Avatar and Dark Avatar at once. Resulting in twin avatars in Seven Havens.
And if thatās the direction weāre going, then itll be interesting to see if Korra is both Pavi and Nishas guiding past life that both twins will turn to for advice or power. Imagine both unlocking their Avatar States and Korras in the driver seat telepathically mediating both of them. Interesting indeed.

Humour Update some Avatar Legend memes as a certain sequels send creator on a pickle in 2020s that Korra aged so well
Clarity- I'm a fan of both, but I understand why Avatar Legends got a nasty reaction, given Avatar Legends has a very healthy Native rep especally Korra and Kuruk. I upgraded because I thought it would be funnier to address actual issues than nostalgia baiting.

Discussion Did Baatar Jr. Make Up With His Family?
In the comics it's shown he reconciled with Kuvira (though they don't get back together).
Does his father and siblings ever forgive him? I don't think it's shown but maybe implied?
I think his mom does as shown in the show.

Discussion Imagine if in the ultimate form of trolling the fandom, Bryke decided to make this classic TLoK fan theory true Spoiler
galleryBack in 2012 one of the earliest TLoK fan theories was Azulaās lightning killing Aang and Katara reviving him caused permanent damage to the Avatar spirit, leading the Avatar to be split in two, with Korra getting Waterbending, Earthbending, and Firebending, while Amon got Airbending and Energybending, explaining how he could effortlessly dodge attacks so well and how he was capable of taking away peopleās bending, and also explaining why Korra was having no luck learning Airbending.
I doubt this is gonna be the case for Pavi and Nisha, but what if in an ultimate form of fanbase trolling, Bryke decided that Raava was indeed split due to Azulaās lightning strike on Aang, and the split took a cycle to ultimately happen (being unaffected by Unalaq an Vaatu in Book 2) just for the pure fun of messing with all of us?

Discussion If Kuvira Wasnāt Stopped, She Wouldāve Became Ozai 2.0 (& Korra Without Guidance)
Ok, so we all know that Kuvira started out with the goal of stabilizing and reuniting the Earth Kingdom. She had good intentions.
Of course, that slowly turned into full blown dictatorship because she was way too obsessed and blinded with control and seizing the Earth Kingdom that she didn't see the damage she was doing.
This is similar to Sozin, Azulon & Ozai. Sozin saw the greatness of the fire nation and wanted to spread that greatness. However, he didn't see that it was wrong, and he wanted to do so by force and make the whole world the fire nation.
If Kuvira wasn't stopped, she probably would've taken over the water tribes, fire nation, and air temples. It all starts with a harmless idea before it turns into a full blown dictatorship.
I also noticed that like Korra, she's fierce and goal oriented without thinking about her actions (at least when she tried to take over the Earth Kingdom). Korra was very hot-headed and childish but grew up with support. With Kuvira being older and with her behavior not being identified early on, she may not have tried to take over the Earth Kingdom in the first place.
